| It was such a sudden surprise for me. Aira and the Spirit have something in common, when they lost someone precious, Aira lost her mother and the woman spirit lost her child, it was really sad to tell. However, on the bright side, Aira has regained consciousnesses and it was also a fitting end for them with a farewell hug.  |

The mom lost her child, and Aira lost her mother, so there were complementary holes in both of their hearts, which is why Acro Silky became fixated on Aira. A major theme of this show is found family, in other words, you decide who your friends are, and what the concept of "family" means to you. |

| That settles it, this the best anime this seasons by far. The world building, story, characters, interactions, dialogue, events, humor, heartwarming parts, action, background art, animations, graphics, sound, music. This anime has my vote all the way. |

| A Mothers love and the bond with their child cannot be described in words truly. Such an amazing episode with the sound and animation everything was just spot on. Even felt the joy and pain in the rawest form. Standing ovation to science saru for delivering the episode and doing justice to it.  Rip acro silky. She can finally move on. Extremely well animated. The reason why the thugs appeared was because Silky used half the envelope of cash to treat her daughter on her birthday. That money was either payment on a loan to the yakuza or their share of her prostitution money. I wish that could have been explained more clearly since I had to go sleuthing. Studio SARU saw Madhouse constantly cook the night sky for Orb and decided "Nah, I can cook aswell." I should have expected that Aira would emulate Silky daughter so that she can leave with closure, but I forgot she existed. Both Re:Zero and Dandadan are tied with both having 2 very peak episodes. 5 & 7 / 4 / 7 respectively, lets see who takes the lead. |
| Well they said this was gonna be the best episode and they weren’t wrong. Beautiful episode, but utterly heartbreaking. Some people truly are too kind for this world and deserve better fates than they’re dealt. Silky may not have had a fancy job or place to live, but she was the best mom you could ask for because she was willing to do anything to ensure her daughter was happy and fed. The world failed her. I’m glad in the end she was able to find some sort of peace and pass on. She and Aira may not have been biologically related, but certainly spiritually related. They both lost someone very dear to them to circumstances they couldn’t fully process at the time so it’s like their hearts were crying out for one another. I like the theme in this series of found family and how we can choose who our “family is” So from what I gather in the flashback, silky was doing a little prostitution at one point and things went bad with one of her clients. Sadly this isn’t too unrealistic because in Japan prostitution is illegal, but buying it isn’t. So you’ll often see cases of men threatening women or beating them to pay less or nothing at all. It’s become an even bigger issue as of late with the increased sex tourism in places like Okubo park. Incredible ep. The scene of Silky dancing like a ballerina under the stars will stay with me. |

| I really liked how they put so much realism in the brutality. There was no what ifs; it was just a utterly hopeless situation. She even tried to fight back and still lost the only reason she kept going. That just makes this arc hit so much harder. |
