| I've seen a grand total of two of those shows (Suicide Squad and Uzumaki), and loved both of them. My first choice would be the child porn anime that no-one could shut up about, but I've never seen it and it seems it did well in its target demographic of closeted pedophiles. My second choice would be Rick and Morty: The Anime, a show that I actually did see, but it's not listed on this site so it's debatable whether it counts or not. EDIT: The boring filler training arc of Demon Slayer was this year. I'm going with that. |

| I was shocked of how dogshit Ninja Kamui turned out to be. To be frank I though it was bad right from the start but considering that the fight scenes aren't even worth to watch (because of the bad art direction that they took) after four or so episodes makes the project an abomination that I can't bring myself to even finish. Definitely the worst of 2024 but most of these flops aren't a lot better either. |

| Uzumaki EP 1 is good but everything afterwards, idk. TOG S2 and Blue Lock S2 were among my most anticipated series this year, especially since they’re adapting the best arcs from their respective stories. Unfortunately, both series got a bad treatment oof. |

It did to me. It was an interesting episode. Just downhill from there.

Shikanoko was utter trash from the start, everybody knew it was trash (the manga is trash as well) and will be trash. It was a joke and a meme, but had very successful marketing and was able to bait idiots in. But even the ones who were baited by the hype knew that the show will be bad, they just hoped it will be funny and memeable.
So people didn't have the same expectations, were not betrayed the same way, therefore it didn't get that much hatred and also there wasn't really a downfall because it was on the bottom floor from the start.
