| It's one surprise after another for Jill Even with the incident in the prison, they kept the chemistry between her and Hadis in tact. In fact, this show's heart and core feels like it's about the two of them. Bet he didn't see that slap coming though ouch. Also, it seems Jill can be a bit loose on her emotions sometimes, includin this episode. |

I'm pretty sure that people that can endure this anime to episode 5 are ready for the kiss scene, yet it shows only like milliseconds long.

| This is one of my favorite anime this season, really enjoying it. However, this "we can't fall in love with each other" is weird, don't get what they are trying to accomplish by this, will they come to ruin? Will she need to break out of that barrier with her love for the dragon emperor, in order to save him and his soul? Guess will find out next time. |

| Appreciated some more underhanded politics and some harsh measures taken, even if it felt like they were just throwing way too much at me. They also really clash with the more cutesy tone; we had a kiss and an embarrassed slap, followed by a demonic possession, a mass round-up of innocent civilians and an impending civilian massacre. That lecture about the fairy tale/founding myth with the goddess, the spear, and the consort stabbing herself was difficult to keep up with. And the new plot point was paid off mere seconds later with Sophia attacking them with the spear. Speak of the devil, huh? I still like these characters and want to see where they go, but it's getting a little clunky... |

Fallanx said: @ejleon I think Hadis is terrified of the curse considering what happened to his mother and other family members even if he did not have much of a relationship with them. The idea if he loves someone it is their death warrant and the cursed emperor kills his wife I think would be a breaking point for anyone. I am betting my money on the sword. If you think about the story of the curse I think the sword from the myth and heavenly emperor sword are the same sword. So when Jill acknowledges that she has romantic feelings for Hadis the sword will jump ship from Hadis and become hers. The sword I imagine also shields it's wielder from the goddess's curse. Plus honestly Jill is more suited to wield a sword than Hadis Honestly, that was a little confusing, but then you for your response. If the curse is based on whom he loves / cares about, then why did people freak out over the Marquee dying? |

| Damn this ep got dark(literally hard to see shit in the second half) lmao. But wow they leaned heavy into the mythological aspect of things today. I’m still a bit confused on the lore with the goddess and the spear and how Hadis got cursed.. but Hadis being on the warpath with his own people at the end of the episode is not a good sign at all. Jill’s whole thing is stopping him from becoming the monster he was in her original life and he looks to be going down that path. I get that you want the goddess spirit defeated, but you can’t just round up all your people and have them give their daughters and family up without proper explanations Really could do without the romance in this one tho honestly. The age gap is just too uncomfortable and the kiss today was .. an experience for sure. |

| This is a classic case of someone having a story but just not knowing how to write. This was a terrible episode on multiple parts. First, she is a do-over because she was killed so that the Kratos prince could keep his dirty little secret of banging his little sister. So why, Pray tell, is she keeping it a secret. The best way to discredit him is to make it know far and wide. Ofc, it probably hasn't started yet, but by making that story known, said prince would be completely handicapped from being able to keep a secret and randomly killing people who find out. Second, she knew he was coming, and she knows he has that cursed spear. Why in the world would she be surprised that he would bring it with and cause trouble. Even with only a little bit of prior notice, she could have easily gotten prepared for him. Instead, both she and the Dragon Prince took it as a joke. There's also the attitude of both Jill and the Dragon prince, which is starting to get a bit irritating, but that can be written off as acceptable. |

| I thought Gerald was an Idiot but it turns out he had some great plans to throw Beilburg into chaos. Now we know the story of Rave & Kratos. Now to see how Jill is able to try and stop Hadis from a massacre and fixing this difficult situation. |

| Lovely first half, and crazy last half! This is definitely getting better! 😭😭😭 This is definitely more lovelier and not a cliché than the other villainess series that is currently airing as well. They also finally revealed why the Prince would want a girl under fourteen! The story is finally revealing some stuff! We need more character developments! ===== @WienGirl She's definitely having a decent human character as a fictional character, and you're looking at her from a very weird perspective from what I can see. lol (no offense) I want to know how you say that "she's treating someone who is betrothed to her as TRASH". | It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |
| everyone's being stubborn, and that gerald's taking advantage of what he knows of hadis' situation. he wants jill coz of her immense mana, and he was willing to play dirty to get what he wants. what a spoiled brat. anyway, hopefully things get resolved with less bloodshed than what gerald probably was anticipating. |

| Wow, the most intense episode so far. That eyeglasses prince is a piece of shit.... but this moment might strengthen the feelings between Jill and Hadis. I also just realized that Hadis never calls Jill by her name, and always with "murasaki shoujo" ... well that must mean something. Can't wait for the next episode! |

The possibility that nobles that favoured the other prince's spread rumors.
Hadis's reactions to situations are always extreme and ruthless, killing the marquee matches with their perception of him.
Also when he was a child he openly spoke to Rave and in all likelihood called him by name.
It became a perfect storm.

| It is surprising really...This is actually a good anime. It is exploring all the topics that it wants to: We are seeing real world building. The antagonist is actually frightening while also having a bit of a character, though they still need to build it up. And the 'romance' is certainly a thing... But besides that the anime actually seems to be trying and not wasting time. |
| The question is if the prince changes later. It’s strange he came for her, knowing what happens later, because it doesn’t make sense yet. |

| I don’t know anything about the source material, but the story feels like it’s moving really fast. The evil guy showed up, caused trouble, people rioted, and then the evil goddess appeared and possessed Lady Sphere—all in no time. I’m still not sure if I like the show. It feels like it’s trying to be different by breaking clichés and speeding through the plot. |
| TBH, Jill is still funny Tho her personality is pretty much in-line with her current body, and not her "previous life" age. . Also... I think Dragondude just kissed Jill out of no where... everyone was shocked, lol And yea, he deserved that slap, age isn't even the issue here, you just don't randomly kiss someone out of no where. We already know Dragondude is a confirmed lolicon by episode 2 by Jill herself, so no one should even be surprised by how Dragondude views young girls. (the anime made that clear) . Also, I just realized why Dragondude is a lolicon... he mentioned "be especially careful of girls 14 years and older" This means the "curse" only possess girls 15+, and not girls 14 below. Meaning he's the most safe toward little girls as they won't get possessed. (this is also probably the reason why he didn't felt like saving Sphere in early episodes and wished for her to die) Which means Dragondude already knew since the beginning of how his curse works and is secluding himself away from most people to avoid activating the curse. But Jill just keeps on being friendly and gather people toward her and subsequently Dragondude. So you can't really blame Dragondude for being a lolicon... this was his best effort to avoid the curse. Since we see what happened with Sphere... and why Dragondude rejected her in the first place with the excuse that she's too old. (since she can be possessed, as shown) |

| They need to do something about the sword...so the goddess can only affect girls who are older than 14, which is why Hadis can't marry anyone younger than that. Gerald just came to fuck things up for everyone. The kiss was cute, but Jill needs to drop the tough guy act. Why can't she just admit her feelings are real, damnit. Hadis hasn't called her Jill, only amethyst |

| With Prince Gerald in a hurry to race to the Dragon Emperor, Jill meeting him once again only premises one of hate, and Hadis just reeling in her hatred for Gerald and caring for her is quite the amusement lols. Both Zeke and Camila certainly had fun witnessing both Jill and Hadis's humour, but to have Hadis kiss her out of reason and one for love, certainly isn't befitting for an Emperor being in love with a minor. Still, by utilizing the love-hate relationship between the two, it's still a plot against Gerald wanting to extradite her back to Kratos, much less Marquess Beil killing himself in self-suicide, being concerned about the Emperor's curse. Zeke and Camila filling Jill in on the intricate details of her death in her past life, it certainly has precedence, but this only gets more confirmed once Sphere comes in with Goddess Kratos's amalgamation denying Jill of her place with Hadis, forcing his hand to keep watch of girls below the age of 14 to avoid possession, all that's still within the midst of the Dragon Emperor keeping her on tabs of his loyalty to her. The Emperor's curse is quite the troublemaker, and Hadis making quick-fire decisions despite Jill's resistance, there is just no recourse around it. |
