Estudante se transforma em caracol "espiral", Kirie tem o cabelo demoníaco em formato espiral, kyoko com cabelo espiral também é louca por fama, garoto apaixonado por Kirie morto por possui um brinquedo em forma espiral, um casal se contorce igual borracha na forma de espiral, por último o farol da cidade que queima as pessoas tem forma espiral. |

| What a strange episode, the animations aren't good. It seems that Katayama has become a real snail, who would have thought that Tsumura would also transform. I found the episode bizarre but it's good that it's a different horror from what I've seen before. |

| WOW. After watching the trailers and the first episode, I feel like I've been catfished. I mean, the story is still good, I like the nerve-wracking pacing, and the background art still mostly looks great. But holy moly, this animation is terrible in comparison. Almost as poor as Ajin. |

| I knew that the animation for this episode was going to be awful, but this was even worse than I thought. It's laughably bad lol. The pacing was horrendous too. The first episode was a bit faster than the manga, but this one went over so many things in such a short amount of time making most of it meaningless. |
| Excuse me, but what was that? Immense quality drop in every aspect. Heck, even the tone of this show felt way different to what could be experienced while watching the first episode. Chaotic direction took place of very solid direction from ep. 1. It felt as if I was watching a different anime. Huge disappointment. And I'm pretty tolerant about quality drops, but come on. Not that kind of huge quality drops of a show that consists of 4 episodes in total, and that was delayed multiple times. |
| Well this was a pitiful downgrade of an episode. At least this episode still in a strange way entertained me but all in all I'm sad abt this whole episode and it made me mega worried abt the last 2 episodes now. |

| Ok besides that one scene that's being meme'd the animation drop wasn't that crazy. The story right now is kinda nuts. BUT HOW ARE BEING NOT TRYING TO ESCAPE THE TOWN AFTER SEEING BRO BECOME A SNAIL?!!!! |

| Because I watched this a bit late, of course I got quite a lot of spoilers for the next few episodes (including this). Yes, it's true; the animation in episode 1 is quite cool. However, starting from episode 2, the animation is disappointing. Maybe this was due to the studio changing (from Akatsuki to Fugaku). However, it cannot be denied that this is also due to lack of budget and time. The number of people obsessed with spirals increases again. Starting from Kirie's class, namely Katayama, who was "infected" by the spiral, which caused his back to look like a snail shell. In the end, Katayama turned into a large snail, more precisely a homo gastropoda. It didn't stop there; Kirie also seemed to be infected with the spiral. Luckily, it wasn't serious enough to take over her life but only made her hair spiral. Her hair became quite messy and strange; of course, this caught everyone's attention. Day by day, more and more people were infected with this spiral symptom. Tsumura and Kyoko also became infected. Tsumura became a snail like Katayama, while Kyoko had strange and spiraling hair like Kirie. But you know what's weird? It seems like those who tend to contract this spiral symptom are those in the same class as Azami, who is also in the same class as Kirie. Slowly, the spiral symptoms spread throughout Kurouzu city. The impact of this spiral is also increasingly varied. Some can't walk straight (can only walk in a circle/spiral), some have even turned into something like a snake. Anyways, the ending is pretty creepy. 💀 |

| Soooo wow, animation quality went down the drain real fast. I feel like we didnt get much progression in this ep as it just shows people getting the uzumaki curse, acting all weird, and dying off. The show rlly makes people cursed for the smallest thing too 😭 You dont show up to class? You turn into a snail Are you jealous someone has more attention than you? You grow a frick ton of hair You dont like gay snail breeding? You join them At this point im just watching this anime to see what other random things the author pulls off. |

| The animation is getting worse by the second. This episode made me so uncomfortable. The way the bully and victim mated was so twisted. The teacher probs turned into a snail for killing all the eggs. Poor Kirie has it rough, thankfully Shuichi was able to save her. Now the other girl, who tf wants attention that badly? I feel particularly bad for the couple. Rip Kirie, she deserved better. |

| decent second ep, I feel like I was scrutinising it more heavily than I would've been if I hadn't heard all the complaints. & sure it looked bad at times but I don't think it was particularly egregious, in this ep at least! |
