| There was a bit of drama, but in the end, Makoto himself asks for Ryuuji to out with him. If they're the end game, perhaps it's too early. Or perhaps they'll break up, then Makoto will hook up with Hanekawa and god knows who will be the end game. |

| @ImNotAnOtaku1 nah, they're of the same age, both minors, so it's legal. It's not grooming a non-gay child into having a relationship with a gay person of sufficient age. Besides, even it this were depicting a controversial topic such as the one I mentioned, at the end of the day, it's how they would handle it. Is the story compelling? Will there be repentance, forgiveness, or even justice? Again, so many other stuff such as murders and rapes have been depicted in anime. It's not like these anime are asking the viewers to be evil. |

I feel so bad for ryuuji, not being able to say what you want for the longest time, bottling up your emotions. I would know, as a bi guy who still hasn't came out. I'm glad that he's finally said it to makoto, but I'm worried that he just said that so he and ryuuji can be close with each other again like "normal" :( please I need them all to be happy so bad, including Aoi. Hope everything is well with her and her grandma. |

| Great all the Ryuuji's backstory with Makoto wasn't for nothing, finally he confessed and turned out that Makoto confessed as well in the end... but damn seems like something happened to Aoi's grandmother :/ |

| I really like the ending song. What a feeling. The anime surprised me after all. A nuanced approach to a delicate topic, self-aware without losing its sincerity. Actually brave, because it doesn't try to hide anything. More anime like this please. Grown up, yet full of dreams. |
| Yaay, I'm glad the cat is out of the bag and now Makoto and Ryuji are dating <3 Hopefully Makoto didn't ask Ryuji out just so things could be back to normal. I think Ryuji would be really sad. Poor Aoi, she deserves better :( |

| huh? yoo that was fucked up of Makoto to do to Ryuuji no? He took advantage of Ryuuji's feelings for him to keep things the way they were by asking them to go out, despite him not having that sort of feelings back. It was obvious, and even explicitly said by Makoto at the very end when he said he was glad things would "go back to the way they were" (which is not a feeling you'd have if you were starting to date someone at all...). Idk why the shippers are so happy, blind ppl? I don't mind if the story ends with them ending up together, but as it is, I feel sorry for Ryuuji as his feelings are genuine and dude has gone to bat for Makoto yet now he is being deceived for Makoto's own selfish feelings. |
