The Big Four is a committee to handle foreign affairs. It's a joke position with fake promotions.
Soei got another title instead, Rimuru promoted him to Head of Personal Intelligence Team.
Hakuro is spending time with Momiji. They already made plans and Rimuru doesn't want him to call them off, that's why he's not attending the tournament.

| That was a good set of battles (and non battles) to be hosted by Soka (great performance btw). We had a rivalry battle, 2 upsets, Masayuki bullshitting his way to the finals and a tense battle of fists. It comes to the next episode to see if Masayuki will actually do something or maybe just forfeit for some odd but hilarious reason. |

| Thankfully they didn’t let Rimuru’s broken subordinates participate (who are now going by the Elite Four apparently), this made things a bit more interesting in the tournament, but even then I think most of the fights were unsatisfying, the best ones were definitely the horse versus the minotaur guy and Geld versus “Lion Mask”. Masayuki’s matches I can forgive because they were kinda funny and keeps his abilities hidden for the final round which is a big advantage for him, but Gobta’s fights were hurt by the fact it wasn’t just Gobta fighting, he also had Ranga which imo shouldn’t be allowed, I get it’s pretty much the only way he was gonna win but it just soured his victories for me personally. And contrary to what Soka said, I fully expected Gobta to win lol, ain’t no way they’d let the final fight not feature an Elite 4 candidate. I will say tho, despite some of the fights not being that great, Soka at least made them entertaining with her voice, as well as that tasteful camera angle during the first fight lol. Hopefully the next one is interesting tho, as much as I want to see Gobta get gobsmacked he will at least put up a fight against Masayuki, and I’d be fine with that for entertainment purposes. |

| HAHA, Ranga's so cute. Dude hijacked Gobta's summoning and goes to *lick lick* the knocked out dude, lol. . Masayuki just winning the tournaments through speech and charisma Yea, it's part of his Unique Skill... Dude could actually just say anything, and people will still cheer for him. It works sorta like a "mind control" I guess.... since it directly interfere with the way people think. (seems like only people with high magicule are not affected, or much by it) . And now we have Gobta vs cheat-hero... problem with this is... Gobta seems pretty simple (unlike Lion Mask)... so he might be easily influenced by the unique skill and just gave up like all the other ppls. |

| I'm hoping Gobta has something that totally screws up Masayuki's unique skill otherwise I'm gonna rage and riot if Gobta just drops out.....I'm still mad about Masayuki's underlings being so snobby and him not reeling em in... I mean Shion had that odd skill that made her cooking good (can't remember the name of the skill).....so wouldn't be surprised if Gobta develops a unique skill like that. If anything he's pretty good at surviving. On second thought....seeing Rimiru battle it out with Masayuki would be interesting in itself (assuming Masayuki can actually fight and it's not just his skill manipulating his luck or whatever)....though if Rimuru beat Masayuki would that make him unpopular cuz of that weird charm skill? hmmm... |

| Soka being an enthusiastic commentator was something I didn't expect at first lol, she's pretty good at being one though. Masayuki got the talk-no-jutsu too lmao, and Ranga being with Gobta feels like cheating. Raphael being blocked twice seems a little sus? We'll probably find out what's going on soon enough. |

| Glad to see Souka receiving some well-deserved screentime. Entertaining episode. Odds seem to be against Gobta but let's hope his burning desire for a new fishing rod is strong enough to counter Masayuki's cheat skills. |

| Great martial arts tournament. At first, there was no reason to dislike the hero Masayuki's story. Now there is. He doesn't care about this at all. And instead of throwing the matches from the first one with his by. Instead, he goes ahead and plays himself another free round. Which is just for the audience's sake in the adaptation. I was kind of hoping he would be portrayed a bit more. Idk... Kind? In terms of its not really his fault that his hero worship god aura is there. He was isekai'd like all the rest of them. However, he's set up for guaranteed antagonist status here. The horse v. cow showdown was excellent in animation and depiction. Even if they had to lower the quality of the choreography in other matches. Worth. |

| That fight between Bovix and Equix was pretty gnarly. Only a Ninja announcer like Souka could maneuver through such a battleground. My favorite part of this episode was Rimuru getting called out for how he taught Gobta. It's effective but not the most entertaining thing to watch in a tournament. |

| The tournament started and the matches ended pretty quickly except for the finale that was planned for the next day. Gobta is gonna take on Hero Masayuki. I'm mad that Masayuki is winning without doing anything, I know it's his power but still. I wanna see Gobta win. |
