| Cefiro looked pissed this episode and I'm not really surprised. After all the shit she's been through, she still had the will to continue to punish and show her talents. Also, I do think she and Dairokuten has an underrated relationship in this show. The finale felt kinda lackluster as it was just building off from the recent episodes. |

| Ike's counterattack begins against the humans who have Cefiro kidnapped under E Rudle, and the general tests his moves...if only they're smart to realize demons like Lilith can move amongst the shadows to save Cefiro. Meanwhile, it's a battle of wear and tear amongst their leftover forces, and even Jiron gets his chance to infiltrate and make a scene against others, that unfortunately resulted in the near-loss of Florentina, enough for Cefiro to almost go berserk, against Liilth's qualms that it's all part of Ike's plan. The demon army has the upper hand, and E Rudle is forced to retreat with the human army, thereby claiming victory for the demons and the Red Dragon Division romanticist General himself acknowledging by putting his thoughts on paper, and Ike to respond the same. And it just so had to be that Dairokuten came to the Alesta herself, surprising not just Jiron but everyone else all the same, just as Ike did the first time. All that work and reward to Ike promoting him as the commander of the 8th Corps, it felt like Ike's much-needed promotion from start to finish. Very underwhelming show, lackluster even. |

| Ike took back the fort from the enemy and saved Cefiro with his superb tactics. Even got promoted to 8th corps commander. Just ending the anime there with a post credit scene mentioning the great feats he'll achieve someday that we'll never to get to see in the anime as I doubt this'll ever get a season 2 but I'd definitely like to see all the cute girls shown there in the anime someday. Somewhat decent fantasy anime, didn't really leave any lasting impression in anyway at all except Cefiro being a waifu. |

| One of the best episodes, not counting the story about Satie and the pirates and yes except for the rescued Sephiroe, the alternative ending for Fiorentina was a pleasure, for me it's 7 just because of the last episode. The main downside for me isn't so much the 3d as the slowness of the main character in the adaptation. Where in the manga the main character casts magic, here he just stands and waits and it's in every mini arc. |

| I maintain the 5/10, but I'm happy the makers understand this has no future potential and simply told us he successfully united races and kingdoms. It ended in our timeline with Ike becoming 8th Corps Commander (guess she just scratch 3rd Corps) and technically completeing his Ivalias mission for humans, dwarves, demons were all working together in harmony. 3/5 for this episode. I'm happy this exists as had value, but it was still so bad hahaha |

| Well that was rushed as fuck. Was this anime original or did they really just skip thru the entire rest of the story in two minutes there at the end lmao? Fairs I guess they knew this wasn’t getting another season so they gave the info about what happened to Ike.. did he ever get married, have kids tho? Like I kinda would’ve liked to have known that. I did lowkey like the respect E Rudle had for Ike and it seems like he was a genuinely decent person. I guess they had that letter of admiration from him to Ike to lay the groundwork for eventual peace negotiations between the demons and humans. If they can respect one another, they can live together. Wanted to see timeskip Cefiro and the other ladies in Ike’s life tho 😂 This would’ve been a 5 if not for the Yamamoto OST. Probably the most mid show of the season in that it wasn’t horrible, but never got good either, and I think it was below “decent”. A very odd show to watch honestly I’d put it on the same level as Strongest Sage weakest crest in that respect. |

| Okay ending to an okay series. As many have said already, felt very underwhelming. VA for E Rudle seemed a little bored. I kind of wish Fiorentina had died because at least it would've been interesting instead completely as expected. Thanks for telling us the end of the whole story at the end there, lmao Any LN/manga readers to weigh in on if the writing is actually bad or just the adaptation? Still, it's an interesting concept and some parts I liked, so it gets a 6 from me. |

| I really liked the concept of this show but as the episodes progressed, my interest fell and this last episode was a complete bummer. I don't even want a season 2 now, the final episode was really disappointing |

| That ending was so bland. Ike saved Cefiro and the others, the Demon Queen promoted him (despite him not wanting it before), and that was it. Even though the series had interesting characters and potential plotlines to explore, it ended up being disappointing. I even theorized that E Rudole might be related to Ike, especially after that letter he sent showing respect, but in the end, it doesn't seem to matter. I highly doubt there will be a second season, especially after they showed an epilogue of Ike bringing peace to the world. The only standout part of the show was the OP; everything else just fell into the pile of forgettable anime. |

| Never a dull moment with Lilith around. Man Cefiro was extremely pissed of and completely destroyed that guy, thankfully Fiorentina is fine. Ike had the perfect plan, nice to see even the commander praising him for it. Jiron and the demon lord was hilarious. Great to see Ike rewarded and praise to everyone. I really hope to see another season of this sometime, I really enjoyed this from start to finish. A great mix of comedy and seriousness. 9/10 |

| It seems like so many people didn't think too highly of the show which is a shame, personally I think it was fairly enjoyable. Not the best thing ever, not even close but definitely a good show to fall back on each week. It kept my interest, the characters are nice and the slow but steady progression of events was a bit more refreshing than just training arc, serious war arc, repeat. There were issues like with the clearly 3d models for monsters, but I could tolerate it other than for the 3 generals where it was beyond lazy. Story elements went a little fast at points and some things were off screen never to be explained, etc. but there were good things too like how the music had some really good tracks now and then, I liked some of the characters personalities and seeing them on screen too. To me the war encounters were more of a plot b that just helped lead to what Ike and his group of goons were trying to do, the real plot for him to unite the species. That's what interested me from when he took over the town and demons started warming up to the residents, to them helping and drinking and rebuilding together, banding together to fight the human army, Ike's movement toward this goal with the demon lords ambition coinciding. Fights weren't animated with sakuga and it wasn't all action and graphics with the most mastercrafted, deepest plot but I enjoyed it for what it was at least and I'm looking forward to another season if they announce it. I'm curious about the ending though so maybe someone can elaborate but I looked and seen that it ended in only 5 LN volumes but that the manga has 11 or more and is ongoing, then I seen something that came out a few days ago that apparently the anime finale is following the manga story, so does the manga continue or change and do something else or is that basically it? Because then I'd agree with the people who said the very end felt rushed because we just didn't get it other than a summary. |

| I mean, yeah obviously he would be beaten, it's finale and all. But still... what a lame way to be "defeated". Dude just retreated, which is the smart choice in that situation. But like, it's the FINAL BOSS??? And all of that for dude to end up being a "romantist"... ??? Whatever man. Ike became the eighth leader or whatever, and I guess that's all that matters in the end. While yes, this is as generic and lackluster even as it gets, it wasn't the worst thing I've seen. That CGI sure was, but the plot itself was ok. Nothing more, nothing less. Lilith/10 |

| Ngl, one of the reasons that I decided to watch this is because of Cefiro but the trailer also looked decent enough. Speaking of Cefiro, in this episode she was able to escape with Ike and his group's help, and at the end Ike got publicly promoted probably so he could not refuse (ha) and that was the finale in a nutshell. I thought that this series as a whole was ok but as others said this was nothing special. I dislike when series end abruptly and with characters that are introduced but nothing happens with them such as the blonde hero girl from early on, the more recent girl that looks like she could be related to Satie, E Rudle from the last couple of episodes, etc. The character designs were decent but the animation was mediocre. At least the OP and ED were good (especially the OP). 6/10 |

What bothered me in the very last sentence, maybe it's a translation thing, but the version I watched said something like There were rumors he was human, but no evidence of it remains. Then it shows a photo of him with his mask off. Isn't that evidence in of itself? Also, who took that photo of him? It's annoying when someone is hiding their identity with a mask and they are constantly taking it off. |

| Finally finished! I love how they concluded this season! I will seriously miss most of the characters. While the animation was full of CG, the story was somehow heartwarming. P.S. Someone got angry. 😅 The smile was cute though. ≥7/10  |
| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |

| Not a bad watch. tbh, given the title I was kind of hoping it would be more 'evil' in a sense. It feels like whenever an anime comes out from 'Demon Lord POV' it turns out they're actually the good guys, which kind of feels like a let down. Especially here where they make Ike very clearly be the good guy. Also feels very silly as he has to keep him being 'human' a secret but more and more people keep finding out lol Not a huge fan of the ending though. It feels like as opposed to leaving it open they kind of just went "And they all lived happily ever after. The End." When it appears the manga is still ongoing, so I'm assuming there's more to it. Overall though, I liked the characters and world building. It was a fun ride while it lasted and I think its score reflects it perfectly as being perfectly average. |

| Watched this mainly cuz the MC was voiced by Fukuyama Jun. Felt kinda generic and I personally didn't really enjoy it. Overall 5/10 I guess. I probably would've enjoyed it a bit more if the story focused more on interesting characters like the Maou, Cefiro, E Rudole, or even that blonde knight commander. Instead they gave most of the screen time to comedic relief characters like Jiron, Lilith and Satie, smh. Though that brief interaction between Cefiro & E Rudole got my heart all warmed up cuz it kinda reminded me of Tinasha & Oscar haha. |
