As one of the fan of the manga act age I feel sad and depressed watching this arc of oshi no ko cause it is very similar to the latest arc of act age at which it was discontinued. Watching every episode of this made me teary eye remembering what happened to act age. Act age was at it's peak and an anime adaptation was in the work but they have to cancelled every thing. I was the happiest person when I was reading the lastest chapters and hearing about the anime adaptation but the next moment I heard i all got cancelled and it was so depressing and how sad I got hearing that news. Please pray with me guys for this to get continued at any cost.

It was discontinued because author was charged with sexual misconduct. There is no way it is going to continue.

U don't need Oshi no Ko to feel torture. Being an Act Age fan should be enough.

act-age had a live stage play adaptation of the Galactic Railroad arc in the works, no anime adaptation was ever announced

But I do get it

I'm still very much enjoying oshi no ko s2, I think it's breathtakingly gorgeous, but my mood does sour a bit whenever I remember that know that we'll never get to see act-age animated

I know Japan is WAY too lenient with these kinds of crimes but 3 years is nowhere near enough

It's sad for Act-Age fans, but there was no other choice given the mangaka's charges.

im also a big fan of act-age and used to get very irritated with the comparisons to OnK when OnK isn't an acting series and all it did was remind me that my favourite series got axed. to me, tokyo blade is a 7/10 that feels like a weak version of act-age's princess iron arc which is one of the best shonen arcs i've read. the writing is so much better that tokyo blade arc feels like a joke. i would've loved to see how the anime would've looked like

It will never get continued though. WSJ stopped publishing the volumes after his arrest and the artist wants nothing to do with the series which is understandable. The writer ruined his own career because he's a disgusting prevert. Although it's ironic since WSJ has no issues with the guy who wrote Rurouni Kenshin because he got caught with CP.

It's best to just move on, that's all you can do.

Agree with the post above. Tokyo Blade is my favorite arc of Oshi no Ko by far, but compared to Act Age's Princess Iron Arc, it's nothing special. Act Age could've easily gone on my favorite manga list if it continued, and I'm especially sad thinking about how amazing an anime adaptation would've been. I remember how just reading the first few chapters of Act Age gave me goosebumps. Method acting is no joke.

But really, there's nothing much you can do but to move on...as much as I'd love for Act Age to continue, the reality is that the author fucked up and he doesn't deserve to continue his job as a mangaka after what he'd done.

Feel sorry to you all, Act-age fans. It must be really difficult to be a massive fan of a series that had been canceled.

I feel bad for the artist. The writer of Act-Age is scum but now she is tainted by being associated with him.

@Xiao Sounds like it would've gone hand-in-hand with Oshi No Ko; for the show would've had a serious competitor.

@aurora_yuuki ngl if it had gotten anime adaption it would've most likely been on par or even surpassed OnK just based on the art and character designs alone imo. Shiro Usazaki's work easily brought that manga to life and the visual set pieces were like artistic masterpieces.

im so glad shes working on a new anticipated shounen series atm which looks very promising.

@aurora_yuuki CP = child pornography and WSJ = weekly shonen jump which is a magazine

@Kagura-chan So the author of Samurai X possessed CP but it was overlooked?

In any case, watching CP ≠ sexually assaulting girls in real life.
