| I felt like I was watching a movie instead of a series, mostly because of the quality. And I have to admit that I was fascinated by the backgrounds, they were absolutely beautiful. I have great expectations after this first episode and I hope they keep the same quality with the others, I enjoyed it a lot. |

| so we get Hyouka season 2 before GTA 6!? letsgoo, i'm happy that the one who voices Osanai is You-chan, Osanai really likes tart cakes and most of the characters voiced by You-chan really like eating. this show has the same vibe as the Monogatari Series and in fact Hyouka, i really liked what they told in this episode, it turns out that the bag thief was just someone who wanted to confess his love but was shy? You just have to be braver to win her heart, my guy. the strawberry tart accident caused by the bicycle thief really made me angry and sad, seeing Osanai shocked made me sad, and now i only hope that Kobato and Osanai can find another solution to eating strawberry tart. EVEEEE OPENINGG SONGGG i'm happy to be able to hear a new OP from Eve this year and this is my OP of the season (so far) and ammo ED is just ok with unique visuals that are suitable for a show like this.  |

| I love hyouka and this is just as cool as it (I knooww everyone I've seen compares these two) These little mysteries idk if rest of animes is like this episode, I love these little mysteries. I wonder why this show came under the radar for me. |
how out of place that guy who ruined those strawberry tarts... I wanted to see a scene where they ate those two tarts |

| Not sure how to feel about this one. I think I'll stick around for, but who knows if I'll watch this one all the way through. I'm kind of not a fan of the aspect ratio (I think that's what it's called?). Idk I know it's really nitpicky, but I don't like it. This was okay though Also I hope that dude who stole the bike immediately got screwed over somehow the moment he went off screen |

Just how long does it take to retrieve your love letter? Shouldn't it be easy esp when the owner was away, why did the guy have to take the bag with him T_T This ep introduces Kobato being able to deduce incidents, but I wonder what Osanai's role will be? Does she have the same intelligence as him? I wonder about Kengo's character if he's just very serious or what. I am still ??? with the personalities and dynamics of the characters. Also does the tart story really end here or we'll go back to it next week - with the thief getting apprehended - because that ending is heartbreaking. I just realized that this only has 10 episodes. |

| Really like the Opening by Eve! Reminds me of Hyouka very much, Same vibes. Osanai is so cute lol, Interested to see how this will develop. The tarts though :( |

| The art and screenplay carried honestly the least interesting non-event ever here, I can see how it can get better though. As for the comparison with Hyouka I think I prefer Hotaro to the dude trying to be as aggressively normal as possible here but the other way around for the FMC. Difficult to win v Kyoto in animation but direction wise this edges it. Yet to see much of the story. |
| Pretty clever and the characters are so awkward, they're actually NPCs. Its a unique style, idk how they made a story about something stealing a handbag an interesting story lol |

| I didn't find Hyouka interesting at all, so I hope this one won't let me down. I think Kobato is too friendly and should've just said he was too busy. They got the tarts but for them to just get thrown out by an NPC :( the girl was literally :O Pikachu when she saw her tart on the floor. That was truly heartbreaking. I was a bit confused when they said they would get in trouble with the police? While the animation is beautiful, I can't really say I like the aspect ratio/widescreen. |

| Hyouka premise but awkward character interaction. Pauses seemingly inserted for time sinks and the "crime" deduction didn't make a lot of sense. It was just sort of thrown out there and we moved on to the tarts. The female co-lead doesn't have much to like or dislike. She just hides behind the male lead and sort of pleads a lot. Hyouka was a lot better than this is starting out. 6/10 on a wing and prayer. |

| Very intriguing style. I feel... a little unsettled? I want a cozy vibe, and it kinda has it but it also has that eerie vibe of being able to go a little wherever. |

| Feeling so conflicted like this show is very pretty, it has nice cinematography and the animation's really cool but i'll be damned i hate those ghastly clichés of trying to be "normal" the anime. Osanai is really cute though. Her VA is awesome. |

| They should report the theft to the police to get back at him. Pretty sure Kobato's got the guy's appearance down, not to mention the konbini's security cameras. |
