Thanks for checking out my profile! I go by star here on MAL. Friend requests are welcome but I don't accept requests with no note attached.

I was first introduced to anime as a ~3-year-old child when Kiki's Delivery Service aired on the Disney Channel. But I got into anime properly in middle school thanks to the enthusiastic recommendations of my best friend at the time. My first full completed series was Ouran High School Host Club. Death Note was among the shows I saw earliest and remains one of my all-time favorites.

I got into collecting manga back then and, regrettably, gave away my original collection of 100+ volumes when I was going through a certain phase of wanting to be "cool" as a high schooler. As an adult, I've managed to amass a new collection of manga as well as video games. (Will update soon with a list of what I own!)

My list is not 100% complete as I don't remember some things I watched/read as a kid; plus, I typically choose not to log shows that I drop after 4 episodes or less.

CSIII, IV and Hajimari have upgraded graphics compared to CSI and II, but Kuro and especially Kai are even better :)

If you're a Fie fan then you have a lot to look forward to, she gets only better with time. And yeah, Sara is great.

Laura used to be my favorite character from 2017 to 2022. Now she's ~3rd in Kiseki.

Hello there, long time no see (or hear I suppose?). It's nice hearing that you got into playing Kiseki. I wonder who are your favorite characters so far?

For now, I think you can safely play Cold Steel II since it is a direct sequel that doesn't rely much on the previous arcs. After that it would be wise to play the Sky trilogy and the Crossbell arc, although it's not absolutely mandatory.

Ironically i was going through a lot too. I had to distance myself and just focus on me. And that's basically what I've been doing. I'm getting back into my hobbies and enjoying things i like doing again during my spare time when I'm not working. I've gotten into super robot taisen heavily very recently. Slowly getting back into art and Japanese studies again. Hehe

is that so? well in my eyes it wasn't anything that left enough of an impression for me to remember now, so it can't have been that bad :]
i moreso chalked it up to my reclusiveness over anything else tbh. when i run out of energy, it takes a loooong time to get back...
in the process, i carelessly forget to reply to people sometimes and it gives them the impression that i've ghosted them 😭 i always feel bad about it
i'm trying to be better with reaching out first myself, but it's still a work in progress. just know any lack of responsiveness from me is always going to be a "me" issue, not anything you did 🙏

I watched LycoReco and it's genuinely so good? I don't know how I missed that when it was airing. I will have some time to watch anime this month too hopefully :) Have you been watching anything interesting lately?
