We got one more surgery operation left this season. Gotta admit, Elise has come a long way and didn't give up even in the end. They even managed to squeeze in her exam for the finale. Somewhat rushed but the plot and her personality is reflected so well in this episode finale. Enjoyable show overall. I know Elise kinda carried the show but the main concepts and storytelling were also well executed. |

Time for the medical qualification exam. Elise, feeling that there is no time left before tragedy strikes, gives her all to protect the lives of her loved ones and to prevent Linden from sorrow. And finally, the medical qualification exam begins. Many people admire Elise, who has completed all the events, and she becomes increasingly confident in how she will live in this world. Oh, surprise, someone came to Elise's aid. Literally, no one was shocked by that cliffhanger from the last episode. And an even bigger surprise, Elise is going to perform surgery on Minchester... I mean, no surprise there either, like seriously. And the surgery has got to be the most mediocre payoff ever. Because it's anime, it's understandable, but compared to medical dramas, it's really messy. Speaking of messy, Elise's handwriting... lol. Japan messed up yet another manhwa adaptation, whether that be skipping, fast adapting, or hell, just adding stuff for no reason. IS IT THAT HARD TO JUST FOLLOW THE SOURCE MATERIAL... |

Elise's become the princess in distress, and her brother Prince Mikhail has to bail her out in order to reach Minchester and assess his rocky health conditions. Everything aout the King looks fine, though the root cause is still yet unknown, that is until Graham and the others were ready to admit defeat to losing the King, and Elise...not being ready to give up just yet. The cause itself, more than the usual chronic illnesses, lead to a pulmonary embolism, resulting from a blood clot in the artery system. But the King's body is too great for an open-heart surgery treatment, which amidst Elise's fears, Linden gives the go-ahead. For Graham, him seeing Elise's surgery is quite the pristine process, but when no clot is found, his blood pressure thankfully is maintained. Deep within the blood vessels however, there is one, and the addition of a lymph gland mass, it's official: Minchester suffers from lymphoma, which the surgery thankfully is a resounding success. One more task for Elise: the physician's exam, which Linden personally escorts her to the test venue, while being very grateful that she had saved the life of his father. After the parting and departing of Linden (which Elise realizes too late that Ron is actually him), the high-level difficulty test, which features questions inspired from Japan's NMPQE (National Medical Practitioners Qualifying Examination) and the US's USMLE (US Medical Licensing Examination), it's a cinch for her, while other examiners struggled with it. Naturally, Elise's test results proved efficient with the highest score of 98/100, except that her handwriting is ineligible to give her the perfect score. Of course, this surprised Minchester all the more, which Elise came to find him thereafter. The King realizing his mistake to distance Elise's dream of becoming a doctor against kingdomship, Elise also has her regrets from her past life, and she may have done the wager, but it's still to be decided since she hasn't come of age yet. Till then, Elise will continue to save the lives of everyone, from ordinary people to loved ones. An OK-ish manhwa adaptation, it has its good moments, but ultimately came up short. |

So happy that Rose managed to save the king and pass the exam. This was a fairly decent show to watch and it would be nice if we got a second season. |

The ending was bland, even though the early episodes were quite exciting. I'm a bit sad that it's over though... we haven't seen any development in Elise's relationship with Linden :( and from the beginning we were very focused on the medical exam and how Elise would pass, but instead it focused more on other things and we were given very little of that part (the exam). Well maybe because of the limitations of only 12 episodes. I might read the manhwa in the future.. |

And thus ends the first double reverse isekai-time loop-political intreague-romance-medical drama I have ever seen. Cannot say I do not respect the ambition. Given the genre confusion, there are definitely some elements that did not exactly work. But overall, it was quite enjoyable. Glad I picked this one up. |

Never read the source material but hearing that they skipped over so many chapters doesn't surprise me since it feels like missing important bits and development. Barely any romance either except for some blushing (lol). Also not really a fan of wherever Elise goes, there's suddenly someone collapsing or sick and she needs to save the day. Not to mention she never fails at it, which also means the tension is not really there. |

I'm fond of how they ended this series, and I will seriously miss the theme songs, especially the OP. OwO |
It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |

So it was Mikhail who came to Elise rescue like I thought! Those nobles thought it was gonna be a quick assassination and ended up running into the prince himself 🤦🏽♂️ dumbasses. Even after the traumatic experience, the only thing on Elise’s mind is saving the King. A true physician. Really looked like the king was a goner there until Elise suggested it could be a pulmonary embolism. It’s so cool seeing actual medical terms and techniques being discussed in an anime. Such a risky surgery, but in the end it paid off and not only did it help with the king’s current situation, but his chronic illness too. It’s funny that even though it’s a less advanced medical society than modern earth, this world’s medical examination is just as tough. Of course, Elise was able to ace it with flying colours, albeit with awful handwriting 😂 just like real life doctors. But she’s finally officially here. A proper doctor in this world, sucks that the show ended right as we got to this point. Sweet moment with she and Linden at the end. She finally knows the truth about his disguised appearance. I just wish we got more of their relationship throughout the show. I appreciate that they focused on Elise’s medical journey though. I’ll have to read the manhwa to see where that goes. Nothing but respect for Elise not being satisfied with a win now in the bet she made with the king. Would’ve been easy for her to just walk away with the W, but she wants to see how far she can push herself.. as well as staying close to the royal family for now. Great finale! |

another anime is over, what will i do with my life now haha as expected, someone saved her at the last second, it was not the prince i was thinking about (i thought Linden would somehow leave his cell lol) but it all worked out the king was still not well, so it was time for a surgery as expected, Elise knew the reason, a blood knot, just didn't know which side of the heart it was on by finding that one knot, she also managed to find something else... the real reason why the king has been getting worse everyday , so his health should be good from now on next she went for the exam, accompanied by Linden, that was nice of him the questions on the exam were all about stuff that not even the best doctors in their world knew the correct answers for LOL thankfully, Elise had that knowledge from her past life in a much more advanced country, and completely aced the test (except 2 easy questions because of her bad letters LOL i remember my teachers were always complaining about students with bad calligraphy) lastly, a little talk with the king, Elise already won their bet tbh, but she decided to keep it up for a little longer, i mean, she likes being with the king, so that's a way to keep contact well this was another awesome anime, this season had a lot of them, i'll miss it Elise was an amazing character, as the usual villainess, making sure her 2nd(and 3rd) lives were lived in a much better fashion than the 1st one, either by saving their own futures... or living to save others while everyone else was at least decent secondary cast, like the doctors that talked with her, the Childe lady, the 2 princes, the king, all of them could have done more, but they still did their parts 9/10, season 2 please :D |

Not gonna lie, I thought she's going to unreasonably treat those dying thugs because "all life is important". Lmao good thing she has her priority right. This is overall a good show, I guess 1 season isn't enough to involve any romance since it's only focusing on Elise development, wouldn't mind a 2nd season. |

Aside from the world's confusing level of technology, what bothered me the most was just how she seems to be a disaster magnet. I understand she's the main character and the story revolves around her but so much of the events that occurred have to or only happened while she was around, likely so that she can be made into the hero/savior. After the first few episodes, nearly every incident felt so artificial and forced, I just started playing a game of whose going to need medical attention next. |

A pulmonary embolism caused by drinking alcohol should've been her first thought since drinking widens the blood vessels. But maybe that's just my limited knowledge and lack of imagination speaking here xD However, I also figured that his highness could have lymphoma, that seemed kinda obvious. Good finale for a decent show 6/10 |

It's not a metaphor, it's a beautiful piece of the source material. Unfortunately we didn't get that far to show it with such a short anime, and I really doubt we will get another season with the way it went. I strongly recommend you to read the manhwa if you have the interest in the story, it's fantastic :D |

I wasn't expecting the brother to save the day. Lmaooooo I knew it was an embolism. I literally called it out 😤 maybe I should be a doctor (jk I hate the medical field). Anyways, a PE can lead to a stroke. I don't understand why she needs to take the exam despite teaching doctors new things. So what happened to the lamp? I absolutely hated this anime when I first started watching it but it grew on me ngl did they get married? |

It wasnt fully mentioned but you can get a blood clot in your legs from sitting too long due to inhibited bloodflow, then if it dislodges it can travel to the lungs causing a pulmonary embolism or if it heads to the brain a stroke. So Elise just happened to run to just the right spot where Mikhail was? Ehh well maybe if it was only way to head in there i could see that. |

Well, I'm astonished. And here I thought Mikhail was going to be leading the rogue group. Glad to see him make himself more useful. Also, I wish this series had more (or any) blood in the battles. Not a single drop of blood was spilled from dudes being stabbed in the heart with a sword. One one hand, I'm glad the king survived, because now the prince is cleared of poisoning accusations. On the other hand, I would have been happy if he kicked the bucket given his past actions to screw over Elise. I find it hilarious that Elise's handwriting is terrible...as if it were a universally known fact that doctor's handwriting is illegible except for maybe by a pharmacist. Its good the king was planning to admit his loss. It would have been royally f-ed up if the king didn't give Elise a pass for the doctor exam, when she literally saved his life with open heart surgery, and cured his chronic illness on top of that during the same surgery. Not only that, it wouldn't even be the first time she saved his life either by diagnosing his diabetes. However when the king receives news about Elise passing the exam from his bed, he exclaims that he is surprised at how clever she is...dafuq? Did nobody tell him as soon as he woke up that she is the sole reason why he is not being embalmed for a funeral right now? Elise, you fumbled the ending! The king was about to yield the wager but you gave him an out! I suppose they did that so that it would still be possible for her to marry the crown prince down the road. Nonetheless, I'm glad he has admitted to his mistakes. Although it doesn't change the outcome of the wager. The only remaining loose thread I can think of is going after the minimum two men under 3rd prince's faction who tried to murder Elise and ran away. That, and the king's aide still needs to be knocked down off his high horse. The prick. And that's that. Overall, a solid 7/10 as far as a generic shoujo series goes, but I have to lower it down to 6/10 for all the times it pissed me off where stupid things made no sense whatsoever. Maybe if I read the manhwa it'll be better, but I won't get my hopes up. |

I was excited to see the finale, but the beginning of the episode was terrible... Can they not animate a fight scene? No liquid splatters (which should be fine because it's a medical anime), no stab wounds/holes in clothing where Michail stabbed. Terrible direction in Michail's swordplay. It felt like I was watching a low budget play. |

At first, I wasn't sure about this anime. There was just a little bit of "but she gets everything right so..." going on, so I was on the fence about it. If you know everything will work out then what's the point unless it's a parody or something (One Punch Man, for example). However, I started to appreciated the kinda personal making amends part of the story, and honestly she did work hard for all of that. Her relationships around her that were once sour changing into something much more beautiful were great to see. So it became a lot less of a "she can do no wrong" and more of a "she did wrong, so that's why she can do so right" type of thing. I think they could have played on that even more, but for the most part, I thought it was fine. I especially liked how they ended on that note as well as a reminder of why she's even doing what she does. Her wager isn't just with the king, but is actually also a bit of a "wager" with herself. I saw that part and thought, "...Honestly, she's pretty cool". So many reincarnated protagonists just don't have that element to them. They just have their skills or whatever from their previous life (or just get granted some unrelated power in many cases) and then they just complain about how they didn't get to do xyz in their previous life or something, so they do some things a little different or yadda. It's not very compelling. I think I've seen small stuff like, "I was overworked in my past life so I don't want to overwork my workers in this life"... and they never really expand on it or anything. Here with Elise, I feel like even if she had died AGAIN, she would continue on the same path. It's not something that's forgotten. It's something that stays with Elise in every part of her being. Something she truly believes in. Sometimes you have regrets and maybe you were a crappy person, but there's time to be better and do better beyond what you ever felt possible. And I think that's a good thing to come away with when it comes to this anime. While it's not my favorite anime of all time or anything, I think this is a good story. |

Really enjoyed the journey throughout this series and will miss Elise and her surgeries. The ED made me laugh a bit because it started with past evil Elise looking in the distance turning into Earth reincarnation self and I was like oh shit ED change?????? then it went back to normal and remembered that the first bit of the ED in past episodes was just recollections of stuff that happened in the episode 😂 |

Hopefully now the King won't try and force Rose/ Elise into doing things she doesn't want... This is the SECOND TIME, she save his life... . Also, even if she doesn't do that well i the exam due to fatigue... she should be given a pass cause she literally just saved the King... LOL . Still don't care about the Fake-Prince tho, even if he ends up with Elise, I still won't forget his attitude toward Elise at the beginning where he ignored her at every social meetings until he needed her at the hospital. Also, still think her handwirting should have followed her old Royalty body and not her Earth body. Since she's technically in her old body where her physical habits has developed into that of Earth habits. Including handwriting. . BTW, too bad Elise is just well-versed in Medicine, and not actual "Medical Tools". Else Elise could have invented bunch of Tools that was back on Earth but not in her old world. (including machines such as X-Ray or Detection tools she mentioned in this episode, Doctors are not required to know exactly high tech machines work on the inside, they only need to know how it works on the outside) |

Hmm I am touched by what Elise told the king regarding about people making mistakes and how to move on and doing your best, but I am kinda not satisfied at the interaction between Linden and Elise's after finding out that he is actually Ron! In fact, it wasn't shown how Elise handled the situation and it was already skipped to where they had that date. I'm not sure if this will have a season 2 too, but seeing how Mil and Linden still weren't in good terms and Elise saying that their wager (with the King) is not yet over...we'll see |

Looks like the King's surgery was successful. The medical stuff was over my head so it just looked like she pulled out some red squiggly and a nut out of him. And no real surprise she passed the written test with flying colors. Although the fact that the exam was held the next day after the surgery was a bit of an eye roll moment. Overall, the initial few episodes were pretty fun, but then it went stale toward the middle. I was kind of hoping the king did not survive, that would have made the following events much more interesting. |
