According to this Japanese youtuber the anime isn't helping manga sales at all, and barely anyone is talking about it, almost like it's not even airing. So if you really like anime adaptation it might be a good choice to switch to manga after finishing it since the probability of the continuation isn't that high. |

| I think it's just okay anyway. Every episode reuses scenes from preview episodes and even from the same episode... scenes from like 3 minutes ago. Too much padding take away the enjoyment |

| It's okay if this is just a one-off adaptation. The pacing really hasn't been ideal. It's got good animation and design work, but I can see why it's not winning many people over. A lot of the bigger plot elements can feel tropey, and that might have rubbed some the wrong way too. I like Undead Unluck quite a lot, and I do hope more gets animated, but maybe it's best this way. |
| Just a small addition, but one possible reason why it's not that popular (at least in Japan) is because it's stuck in a delicate gap where it's difficult to appeal to any specific audience (doesn't appeal strongly to kids, adults or women), according to the top comment on this video. As for me I quite like it and will definitely continue with manga afterwards. Also from what I've heard the manga finds its stride and turns into something more unique after a certain point compared to just a decent shounen in the earlier parts but it's going to take at least one (or one and half) more season with the same amount of episodes (if they keep the same 2 chapters/episode pacing) to reach that point. |

| That's good enough I suppose. The manga is almost 200 chapters. It wins next manga award too. The anime is currently airing too and animated by a good studio. Considering that Shounen Jump must be looking for next big thing since they dropped a lot of series under 50 chapters; having almost 200 chapter is good enough. The mangaka must feel accomplished after all that. |

| @jpexists dont know if thats really the case cause both those other shows had tons of fanart when they were airing and generally seemed to be successful enough that theres still merch stuff coming out for em here and there. Undead Unluck is just unpopular for different reasons probably stemming from how the manga isnt very popular either, theres a reason its had the nickname unsold unbought. Theres another series from jump that has existed in the backhalf of the magazine with middling sales but just sort of survived without any fanfare from cancellations getting an anime in a few months called Yozakura family, and I think likewise with that series for similar reasons is also not gonna see any real boost in interest for it. These just seem like they have a smaller niche. |

| Thats unfortunate. I enjoy the anime a lot. It is funny, filled with action, looks nice and has interessting characters. And it is quiet sad at many spots, bringing up feelings. It has an amazing opening by Queen Bee aswell and an the ending is fantastic too. |
