| RIP Heracles. He fought bravely and his spirit never gave up till the very end. Seeing everyone's reaction to his death hit hard, especially Brunhilde's one, Sawashiro nailed that part. I'm surprised they moved the Buddha part to the aftermath of fight 4 instead of where it is supposed to take place, but I think it is a good idea, as this way it won't break the flow of the next fight. |

| Oh... ohh... Herc... HERCULES!!! NOOO!!! BOI, I KNEW IT! I WANTED TO BE WRONG. I WANTED MY INTUITION TO BE WRONG FOR ONCE. BUT HERCULES GOT SLAIN BY JACK. F*** THIS ANIME!! *breathe* I'm calm. I know. It was Hercules who won the fight. Still, I couldn't hate that ending. When Hercules embraced Jack before death took him, I thought that was really beautiful. Jack might've been saved by Herc at that moment. I truly respect Hercules and I'm glad that someone like Jack was able to feel sadness... like a human. Even for a scum like Jack, there was someone - a god - who loved him. And that really touched my heart. We humans are fools, undeserving, but there is a real God irl who died to save us. I truly believe that. When people threw stones at Jack, I got really mad at them. That was so disrespectful to Herc. And I didn't want Jack to get hurt even more. Enough is enough. Anyway! YES!! I knew it was Okita Soji! Not too fond of Tsubasa's voice lately but I like Soji! Oh man, I love that sky-colored haori! Time to take the lead, humans! :D Fight is about to break out lmao. Loki is such a troublemaker. I didn't expect him to be that lame. Buddha looked cool on the other hand. Hope we would get to learn the truth why the humans could fight against gods other than with the power of Valkyries. |

| No way, Hercules lost. :( But he was faithful to his ideals to the very end. I say he has become an entity above humans and deities. Oh, and shortly after, another conflict has arose, eh? Are we going to see team vs. team fight, but this time an unofficial one? |

| Jack's cunning won him the match. That and his vollander. I can't get over Ares calling Hercules his best friend. Soooo Zeus can't go to the Elysian Fields and bring his son back? | Jack won, but lost the battle of hearts! I liked it more in the original but this wasnt bad either. Kojiro continues to be an absolute Gigachad even after his round is over. Nobody wants to start shit with the guy who decimated Poseidon. Buddhas entrence into the story was certainly nailed. The timing is different in the manga but hey atleast we could enjoy the full fight this way. I once again recommend you to read Jacks spinoff manga "Jack the Ripper case files", there are only 3 chapters by now but it gives a lot of context to Jack beeing "human malice" and its also good. PS: Kinda weird that the side banter has better animation (2d) than the actual fights (CGI).. |

Hope Jack survive and making an appearance again later like Kojiro just did in this episode. Okita Souji? I have a feeling that he will win the fight during his match on the other season... |

| It was tough seeing Hercules go, he was really a god among men. Jack The Ripper gave humanity a much need win to tie things up at 2-2 despite not winning the hearts of the crowd. I cried at the end just like everyone else not just for Hercules, but for Jack The Ripper who wanted to be loved. Jack The Ripper and Hercules English VA's were really good. |

Seems like even Hercules can't save Jack... 2 consecutive wins for god then 2 consecutive wins for human, high chance next winner will be from the god team..if human team win again that would be 3 consecutive wins which would be entertaining as that would piss the gods even more..... |
| Hercules' death was expected but even so that's still anticlimactic af. But you know what I think that's for the best. That's one more win and getting humans closer to not being extinct, Jack the Ripper's innocent Valkyrie gets to survive, and most importantly, this is what Hercules would have wanted I think. Finally, other gods. |
