| This stage of the exam is interesting as it noy only tests the magical talents of the users, it tests their decision making skills. Not going to lie, I got some laughs out of this thanks to Mash's role and moves. Even though his confrontation was intimidating, the cartoony commentary added into the episode made it that much more amusing. |

| They're mocking Mash with all sorts of names, and then the very first test they throw at them is about proving their physical combat abilities?? The highly anticipated Divine Visionary Selection Exam has finally commenced. Traditionally, the rule was that only those who collected five or more gold-class coins could advance to the second round. However, this year, due to the intervention of the innocent source known as Innocent Zero, and the accelerated nature of the exam, the qualification was revised to having three or more gold-class coins. As a result, Mash, Finn, Lance, and Dot, who qualified with three gold-class coins, embark on the challenging preliminary round known as the Deadervant's Haunt to compete in the second phase! I really enjoyed how the episode was filled with moments of Finn screaming in panic – it made me laugh every single time. Poor dude. The breakdancing part got me to laugh too; such a silly but genius idea. Those moments when they sneak behind the monster and people calling Mash a living weapon were great; I guess it's been long enough for people to finally realize that. I was totally expecting that senpai to betray Mash, but I'm glad he seems to be a nice dude. Mash's protein shake is just the power-up we needed, and it's cool to see him finally revealing what he does to get so strong. Now, with the second round of the exam starting, Finn is the only one with a crystal left, and to make matters worse, he's by himself. |

| Everyone's talking about the OP song, but can we appreaciate the visuals too? I think they're cool as hell The audience's reactions are as hilarious as ever XD. Didn't think Mash can dance too, Lemon is even more in love now. That senpai is not dead... right? Poor Finn, being the only normal one among all these people is pain lol Liked this episode. The test is going faster than I expected. I thought that the first round would take a couple episodes. |

| The 2nd round of the Divine Visionary Selection Exam: Deadervant's Haunt, and this is Mashle's version of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, running against the magic immune Deadervants and finding the key within a balloon. There is one caveat though: the magicless Mash one-punching the monster (which no one absolutely expected to insane hilarity), but it does nothing, so his interest is waned. But with fellow candidate Max, Mash is able to traverse through danger and reach the Deadervant's balloon, which touching it raises the alarm, and no matter what they do, they can't exactly burst the balloon. That, with the broken bellows, using magic to enlarge it, and Mash's...rather breakdance skills to break the balloon from within like a normal balloon, they manage to retrieve it. Whatever ways people manage to retrieve key after key, Finn is still stuck in the same area, and Dot decides to help him out. Despite retrieving the key together, Max wants Mash to keep it for himself...because he senses someone else to duel a battle with: Orca dorm's Carpaccio Luo-yang, whom like Lance, is a true elite. And like a boss, Mash handles his conflict with Carpaccio as kin to taking protein shake, which is rather unkempt lols. The next round: 3 teams of 3 in a Life Crystal challenge to protect and not get out, for this will determine their future...if both Mash and Dot didn't break their very fragile crystal before the round started. The stage shifts to the battleground, and Finn...is in the most danger being alone. Hilarious episode for Mash and Mash alone. |

| Even as warmups go the first exam sure looked daunting. Immune to magic there may be but the hunters sure aren't immune to physical attacks. Such a curious method to inflate the balloon with but a damm dramatic one. What is it with elites and rotten attitudes though. The second exam being a team battle was a nice way of spicing things up. Breakdance aside looks like Mash just picked up a new rival in this exam. |

| Mash making that protein shake out of the water that was about to be poured on him as well as the tornado breakdancing were just hilarious. Now he's in a pickle though considering him and Dot have to protect Finn's crystal and they don't know where he is. I wonder what'll be of Lance considering he's in the same team as that Orca guy. |

| So the announcer states that the crystals for the next exam are fragile and what does Mash do?? Well he of course accidentally breaks it before they even begin and to make matters worse for Finn, Dot breaks his too! Anyway, hopefully the guy that helped out Mash recovers and I'm sure Mash will have a run-in with that new rival Orca guy. |
| It was obvious that something like a minotaur will be beaten by Mash's strength but it has auto-heal? That's a pain... lol Btw, I really enjoyed the audience's reactions towards Mash's weird actions. |
| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |

| Looks like Mash made another enemy in the exam by stepping up to Luo-yang after beating up Max. Can't wait to see the two of them throw down as the next stage is a three on three team battle with Dot, Mash and Finn in one group and Lance in another group. Last team standing with most crystals left intact wins, however Dot and Mash already dropped theirs leaving Finn with the only crystal left. To make matters worse all of the team members are separated after being teleported to the next stage so Dot, Finn, and Mash have to find each other fast. |

I was going to say he was lucky for being on a team with Dot and Mash, people he's friends with that would help protect him, but it seems like he's about to be in some trouble Wonder what Lance is going to do with his team. | I really don't like when a show presents a good character only to die after 1 or 2 episodes... so please tell me that the Senpai is not dead. Like, seriously. So what's the point? I feel sad because it's like he's just being used as a "sacrifice", so that Mash and the redhead from the Orca dorm have their own conflicts. Honestly, I laughed so hard when Mash and Dot broke their crystals xD And I also thought the same as Finn, I thought because it's a team, then they will all go together with their teams... turns out they still have to fight individually! I think Finn will meet Lance... hahah. Good luck, Finn. I know you can do it. That redhead guy is annoying, but somehow it doesn't make me as upset as when I see Margarette. Maybe not yet, huh? The students from Orca dorm are all crazy. I really wanted to see Mash beat up those two. |

| I never get tired of seeing Mash do things that even the non-named characters in this series thinks is impossible. Mash being able to stop himself from falling over after tripping up on a rock by digging his feet into the ground and doing a Michael Jackson pose was amusing. Same goes for when he did a breakdance fast enough to create a tornado when he and Max worked together to get the key in order to advance to the next stage. The third funny moment was his standoff with the new stuck-up guy, Carpaccio, who wanted to dose water on Mash to show his disdain for "weak" people, only for Mash to capture the water and create a protein shake before returning the favour and talked down on Carpaccio was an excellent combo. XD The second stage of the exam did get off to a bad start, as both Mash and Dot dropped their crystals, leaving Finn to be the only one who kept his crystal safe. Despite it being a team event, everyone gets spawned randomly. Hopefully Dot and Mash can get to Finn first before anyone else on the other teams does, otherwise their chances of advancing onwards will end. Hang in there, Finn! |
