I know it’s unrelated to the anime but yes they are a favorite of mine lol

This Episode, although despite all of the complaints being in a cringe setting, made all the past "disputes" make a lot of sense for this build up of blowing over with a proper relief.
I don't know what the maximum potential of animation it could have had as I did not read the Source Material, but readers as usual will naturally whine always over animation and adaptation which I don't have a lot of respect for.

Ryuto letting his emotions blow out after that silence with both of them spinning through their most memorable moments by crying was great, and it went back I think to his original timid and thoughtful personality that we saw in the beginning of the anime. Luna after a lot of petty bullshit she had done throughout the series genuinely being sorry was excellent too, and sure it might not be realistic but this is an anime, not your real life projection. Relationships are always going to be with ups and downs, and him crying like that is not him being a weak pathetic man, and thinking like that your opinion is just generally already irrelevant, go watch your sigma edits.

Secondhand embarrassment at them yelling and crying in the park but overall the emotions displayed are very fine, and this episode made me bring back a lot of faith again into this production, as someone who's had a bad relationship end just like that without the happy ending it made me tear up a little as well when Ryuto was crying, as for a fact this series wasn't only screwing around with cliches (if those dramas were all planned for this moment), oh and that little fat kid who bumped his car into his head kinda ruined that scene, and this series lost me 1 score by concluding this scene by making the two laugh together from that. Whoever thought writing that was a good idea is a bum.

Douche guy was having lots of fun flirting and coddling with oni-gyaru, until he found out he didn't want it to get in the way of his studying, his deduction of "keeping her well by not playing with her", and with "I need to focus on exams, dont contact me, forget me", was a bit stupid and half-assed especially after all that spiritual love talk Ryuto seemed to wash over him, since it was a girl known for having an unrequited crush for three years. It goes to say once a player, always a player. I hope we don't have to see this wandering bum again in the final episode at least. I hope this show doesn't fall back to weird or stupid misunderstandings, and that we didn't get teased by that ending lol

@ssssaturna no, the part of Sekiya breaking up with Yamada was altered in the anime, firstly they remove the whole Aquarium date which in the LN is actually a double date with Ryuuto and Runa.

The whole thing with the break up was that Yamada was insistent with Sekiya to have sex but he needed to focus on his study because of his situation with his family, something completely remove in the anime. And when he told her to break up, it wasn't really a break up but he told her to wait him until he finishes his exams, but she was desperate.

For some reason they made it looks like he finished with her completely.

I take back what I said about Nikoru and Shuugo in the last episode, I hope he stubs his toe.

It's tough for Ryuto's friends. One of them got turned down, and the other has to watch their crush with someone else.

Ijichi became a recluse after Akari rejected him, while Nishi harbored unrequited feelings for Nikro. Although Nikro seemed to have rekindled her relationship with Kanzaki upon their reunion, things weren't going smoothly. Amidst the fluctuating romantic entanglements, the connection between Ryuto and Luna, seemingly calm on the surface, lacked mutual understanding, remaining awkward. Finally, Luna made a certain decision.

I can't believe how Seikya just flat-out turned down Nikro like that? I honestly thought they were a way better match than the main couple. I'm kinda hoping they'll patch things up after his exams, but then again, he did make her cry, so who knows. And poor Ijichi and Nishi, especially Ijichi, things aren't going so well for them. I totally get Ijichi using games to distract himself from the whole rejection ordeal; it's so relatable. And seriously, being 'just classmates' and then getting classmate-zoned? If only getting back together after a breakup happened as quickly in real life. That's something you only see in anime

Took Luna practically the entire show, but she finally spilled the beans about her and Maria. And that cliffhanger at the end—sex for the finale?
