| This was the best episode so far, and unlike before, the bird actually made me laugh in his every scene. Tamako was pretty funny too. Mostly because she's voiced by Suzaki Aya, who also voiced Mako from Kill la Kill. And I really hope Midori x Mochizou doesn't happen, but I like that they became friends. |

| weird case of this episode being the most enjoyable while also the most fustration, the lesbian chikc really was just annoying this episode and her random acceptance of mochi felt kind of instant, on the other hand even with that this episode was lot funnier and generally more entertaining than usual. Being mochi is suffering but thats kind of why hes likable, it does a good job of making you root for the poor guy |

| More Midori/Tamako is always welcome for my yuri ship trash heart. Tbh I found it weird that just in one episode her and Mochizo fought and made up...I mean there IS more time to at least make it worth something (7 more eps)...but overall a fun episode, Dera being a good comic relief as always. |

| This was a pretty amusing episode, it did a lot in its 24 minutes and it significantly advanced what's been hinted at with Mochizu and Midori both being attracted to Tamako. Part of me is worried, this may turn out to be Midori is actually interested in Mochizu and she's just like worried it will upset Tamako or something. But after their exchange at the half way point of the swim, I think it's a bit more likely the yuri theories are true and that's a welcome development. KyoAni goes to the yuri well quite a bit, but they're also pretty good at it. Definitely rooting for Midori in this one, her justifications for shutting down Mochizu were quite funny. Sometimes this show can be surprisingly sharp in its characterizations, despite seeming like a pretty brainless distraction. While I enjoyed seeing Mochizu being consistently frustrated and thwarted in the second half of the episode, the first half which was a pool thing did more with him than the rest of the anime has until now. I liked how it drove home how he's basically a tsundere. He wants to just have fun with Tamako and co, but he feels to insecure because of his feelings so he acts like he's too cool for them. His fantasy about just showing up at the pool unannounced, especially playing hard to get with "playing in the pool" was one of the funniest parts of the episode. I think this was a pretty strong episode all in all. If it has one thing against it, we really see very little of our heroine besides her arc of learning to swim. She's in the background mostly as an object of her two friends affection. It's not a bad thing to sideline the main character in every now and again in favor of the supporting cast. But given how Tamako has been a bit shallow of a character, pushing her further from the focus of things feels like a bad move. I still standby what I said last time too. This show is too short to be trying to replicate the passing of time with all of these seasonal themed episodes. But it's also pretty good at them all things considered. I also like how we're starting to see Dera switch into butt monkey mascot mode. He's still irritating but seeing him be chased around by predatory animals was a humorous use of him. Especially in how it deliberately undercut, the not terribly effective and corny tracking of his main plot with his homeland. |

| You know, I don't like calling the thot patrol on anime girls, but we got two bitches here I think need to be called out. 1. Midori. Shames Mochizou for attempting to confess his feelings to Tamako then attempts to do the same (though Tamako is too dim to see it). Is trying to speak on behalf of someone else's feelings. I'm usually all for yuri but...nah, girl, you gotta go. 2. Mochizou's mother. Stop smacking him for nothing. "Did you do your homework? I think you're half-assing it." Okay great no one asked |

| Midori, please don't ruin my ship. It was a good episode and although I didn't like Midori's attitude towards Mochizou, in the end, they're just adolescents who are insecure of themselves. But yeah, now Midori has become the character I dislike the most in the show. But anyway, at least, I'm glad this "triangle" won't last more than this episode. |

| 5/5 Hehehe while most comments talks about how they dislike midori now because "hurr durr how dare she cock block the spineless male MC hurr durr" i just like her even more. A sprinkle of Yuri on this slice of life makes it all the more interesting (even though its probably a bait, one can hope) To be honest i don't mind Tamako ending up with Mochizou (which is probably whats gonna happen) or Midori with mochizou or Tamako with midori all of them are good pairings in my opinion, i am just glad with this whole rivalry because it makes the anime much more interesting for me. |

| I don't quite like this development with Midori and Mochizou. Situation is Midori acting underhanded so Mochizou can't get to Tamako but it kinda feels like she's acting out of jealousy or rather that future development would lead to her liking Mochizou. Then it'd be her stealing away Mochizou from Tamako without her even realizing and I don't like this. Either way it's not a romance/drama so no use arguing about it |

| So, this is why the Sequel looks more romantic than this parent show. Interesting direction from KyoAni, i feel like it a bit, can't wait for seeing the movie after this heart-warming series. Once again, Dera being an adorable bird, helping that Ooji boy confessed her desire. However, since this is no romance, he can't get the time well performance! Nice development for both of them. A little sad, though with how little Shiori had a screen time since episodes 3. Looking for more her in the next episode. Also, no unique mochi this time? Noo! |
