| The amount of action in this one episode is insane, and it's all due to Daddy Toji, the badass... Geto cannot even slow Toji, much less stop and kill him, the man is just unbearably powerful, and his combat prowess, physical abilities, and tactical intelligence is on another level, it took an awakened Gojo that could use the reversal curse technique to finally end Toji's life for good. Rest in pieces Toji, you were awesome, on another note, it's somewhat endearing that upon his dying breath, he remembers his son's face and circumstances. The bigger point to discuss is the post-credit scene of Gojo handling Riko's corpse and what he said to Geto. The way he is now he no longer cares if Geto would have killed the cult members in cold blood. Geto's justification for not doing that is that there's no point to do so. And then comes the big question. "Does there need to be any point to it?" That challenges the fundamental action of doing something to expect a desired reaction. Eliminating the expectation to do something just for the sake of it. Is this perhaps the little seeds of catalyst that turned Geto away from Gojo? |

| I'm really blown away by this episode. Getou put up a good fight, but Megumi's father is too fast, too strong, and has an incredibly quick tactical grasp of how to solve any given situation. Not to mention that he can make a cursed spirit who's carrying cursed tools small enough to store it in his stomach. This explains why he was able to enter the barrier so easily and unnoticed. Still, it's hard to believe that someone with such strength doesn't even use cursed energy themselves. Honestly, fuck this rep of the star religious group. Such a madman should be immediately eliminated. Just how disrespectful he was with Riko's dead body makes me only hope for the worst for him. Speaking of insane. Gojo's return surprised even the usually calm Toji. At least all of my questions have now been answered. Although Gojo was previously unable to do so, he was now able to use the Reverse Cursed Technique in the face of death for the first time. Multiplying negative energy against itself to get positive energy sounds complicated enough. No wonder even a genius like Gojo had problems of understanding and practically apply it. He was also finally able to use Cursed Technique Reversal: Red, which definitely caught Toji off guard, but didn't inflict any major injury. Nakamura Yuuichi did an outstanding job portraying Gojo's transcendent state and his current feelings. There's no doubt that without Toji, Gojo would never have awakened and become who he is now. This episode also makes it much easier to understand how his techniques work and seeing the birth of Purple, which Toji had absolutely nothing to oppose, was the icing on the cake. Still, I was surprised that Toji spent his last moments thinking about his son. Without this information, Gojo and Megumi would probably never have made contact and I think this saved Megumi's life. The scene that followed after the ED showed the first signs of change in Getou. To be honest, I didn't see any common believers there. Who would clap like an idiot while a dead young girl is carried out? Even if the masterminds are much worse, is there really no point in simply wiping out this organization? Getou may have held Gojo back, but it's easy to see that inside he feels differently. Overall another incredible episode. Props to Mappa |

| Oh man, this is pure amazement. How was Toji able to stand up for that long after getting that huge puncture? I know this is anime, but still. I'm still not understand what's going on right now. I'm pretty lost. This was a beautiful episode though |

| The silence was so loud when he got a hole in him, RIP BOZO... that's what you get for trying to kill a lovely Gojo, he turn into a cold unhinged monster. Toji fighting seriously meanwhile Gojo flying and thinking and understanding what Eren Yeager means by freedom. Bro would've obliterated those believers if Geto said the word, this episode was satisfying AF but I'm still sad Riko died. |

| Just watched this... AND I LOVED IT!!! The animation, the voice acting, the tension, the plot... just everything was done to perfection!!! Even though Toji wasn't shown much, he still managed to become such a great character that seems to be loved by everyone... I just love JJK!!! |

| While I still don't understand Gojo's abilities and anything about this power system for that matter, I like how the story is going into the details of how Gojo's personality developed and to see this side of his relationship with Geto when they were still students. I am also a fan of the fact we're getting some explanation on the involvement of Gojo with Megumi and the irony of it all. |

| We all knew Gojo was going to survive but I did not quite buy his explanation after being literally shredded like minced meat. Well, at least we were told beheading would have killed him. It worked with too >.< What keeps striking me as odd is how Gojo was the morally decadent party in the past, with Suguru being the responsible "adult in the room". And it seems without Suguru acting as a check on him Gojo would have been completely corrupted due to his lack of moral compass and near limitless power. Full-blown Darth Gojo. Which makes their reversal many years later all the more strange... |

| I feel so bad for Geto he got BULLIED by Toji. Animation was so beautiful and wow I guess that is just the norm for this series. Just an all around amazing episode. Toji has been the goat of this arc inside and outside of his fights. Just realized that the “happy” hand clapping in the OP is the religious people. WTFFF 🤮 |

| Quite an intense episode! I wonder why Geto couldn't force Toji's spirit off of him - was that explained in the manga? And Toji's done for too. Good riddance! |
