| Was pleasantly surprised to see Crunchyroll stealth upload this while all the seiyuu were tweeting their live reactions (and reactions from friends or family members that are supporting them). The scene where Shizuka and Mirai hear those opening lines at the concert + continue to be frozen is a real feeling you get at your first in-person idol concert, and I think the anime team captured it well. The 2D and 3D are meshing quite well, but somehow the 3d models are more detailed in a sense they have gradients so ksnjfn? Anyway, very excited to get ML anime underway ^__^ as an Ayumu fan, I am most looking forward to her storyline and the inclusion of Julia! |

| The Idolm@ster I thought it would not be released after a very long wait. The main trio is the reflection of the 765pro main trio. Mirai is so much Haruka that is impressive, Shizuka is Chihaya, and Tsubasa is......Miki(Which is a character that I don't like). See 765Pro again made my kokoro almost stop out of happiness. And singing ToP!!!!!!!!!!!!!, too much excitement. Now, I see Ritsuko is back to the stage. Is great, but I want to know if is as idol, or one time thing like the end of the first season. And Kana and co. is here too, nice. And 765 is still in the same building, looks like |

| im@s is back!!! Gorgeous animation (especially with the ToP performance) but it sometimes throws me off when they got background charas and some scenes in 2D while the main charas are all 3D. Just hoping its gonna be more than 12 eps cuz developing 39 characters is a ton of work |
| I know it's CGI and all and I was already prepared for this for a very very long time now but still watching the first episode made me tear up. Of course we wished for full 2D but sometimes things wont go the way we wish for and I'm actually quite pleased with the mash of 2D+3D we are getting from so far what I've seen. Can't wait for ep 2, the preview looks great already ! |

| These girls are such ripoffs of the OG trio what the heck ;;;; I understand being inspired but they even replicated the hair color... They might as well just do some crazy reincarnation plot and make the OGs the protagonists of this series too. But, it's just first impressions I suppose, I hope more differences manifest later on... |

| off to a somewhat slow start but i really want to give this a chance. its been so long since ive watched anything with idols in it. shizuka is so cute i love all the characters so far !! |

| Man, I'm so damn mixed about this, on one side, I'm glad this happens on the same universe and company of the OG Idolm@ster girls, which was nice to see them again on stage. On the other hand, why does it have to be full 3DCG? they did a good job at making the 3DCG texture look good enough to make you think it's 2D, however, the movement of the characters is so damn unorganic and janky it completely demolish the effort put in the textures. It's even worse when more background characters appear, like any crowd walking or being completely still by looking really stiff and janky. What's worse, there's some flashbacks which are 2D and the MC's parents are 2D too and they look far more organic and natural than the CG they use, it's honestly hugely disappointing. Will keep watching because at least I'm interested in the cast and more appearances of the old cast may be worth looking forward to, however, I won't expect the same passion put into the OG, it's just not gonna feel the same unfortunately. |

| It's really messing with my head just how much Mirai sounds like Honoka from the original Love Live. The similarities are uncanny, not least because Mirai naturally has the standard genki, do-her-best personality that Honoka and most other idol anime protagonists have to have. That aside, seeing the original 765Pro was incredibly nostalgic after all these years, and the CG mostly looks good. It's not perfect by any means, but it's a pretty good effort on that front all the same. Let's see where this one goes and what it can do to differentiate itself from the masses. |

| @CrimsonWanderer Yeah, with the OG one of the best aspects of it was how well done the live performances were while still being in 2D. Jibun Restart and Yakusoku were GORGEOUS and you could tell how much work and love was going in behind the scenes. |
I was thinking on skipping this one, but after I saw the original 765 group was here I immediately changed my mind! Their amazing chad producer, AND HARUKA-SAN MY BELOVED β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ  Mirai is was I expect from and idol protagonist, and Shizuka is really cute, it was obvious she was going to be the "cold" one but she changed pretty quickly and decided to go for it, I wanna see the story of these 2. That 3rd girl, Tsubasa, idk, I don't like her design, will she just be another annoying blonde gal like Miki was in the original? This being in full CGI was kinda weird, but it looks nice, but why all CGI animes have to run at like 10fps? lol The CGI for the live was amazing tho, really beautiful β€οΈ |

| This is my first time seeing an idolmaster anime CGI. The first idolmaster and cinderella girls had great 2D animation. But the CGI looks good imho. It's great to see the ol' 760Pro gang like Haruka and Chihaya. Takes me back to when I first watched the anime back in 2011. That's already 12 years ago. I'm excited to see the new trio. |
| I played the phone game for a while, but I think it stopped working on my phone or something or I was running out of space so I had to get rid of it or something. I came for 765 Pro, to be honest (my waifu, Ritsuko specifically) since I liked the original iDOLM@STER games-- but never watched any anime for them up until today. The 765 performance was nice! So I kinda never really cared to try getting too deep beyond the original 765 group because... too many characters and a lot of text to translate. I even played the phone game reeeally casually, not trying to get invested at all. I'm glad I get a second chance to connect with a different group through this anime. I'm giving it a shot. I think it's kinda cute that they became friends and started supporting each other like that. Mirai's a little weird though. Like... very anime girl-ish. Like if you met this character in person, I think the typical person might end up being a bit put off... I guess because the game allows you to wait for the next response and all despite showing the actions. Also, it would take me a while to translate/my eyes would go right to what I needed to translate so I guess I wasn't paying full attention to her actions in full speed, so her behavior didn't seem as odd there. Here she's just... someone with lots of odd energy. Anyway, the series looks great in the visuals department. |
