| This anime is good so far. I can't get over how it took ages for the adults to notice that the four were there snooping on them lol. From what I gather, the anime does a great job of recreating Australian scenery. I will give it that. What was the lady talking about when she said she wanted to go to Antarctica because she wanted to see the sky? I gather that Shirase's mom has a role to play in the reason why they are going to Antarctica? I might be wrong |
| the series has been hyping up fremantle for quite some time, and it's kinda disappointing with the lack of representation i was expecting for it. as a person living in perth, i go to the freo markets maybe once a few weeks, so i kinda had high hopes. nonetheless im happy for at least some form of representation in the most isolated city in the world. i doubt people outside of australia would know where perth even is, let alone it's in australia. i rarely see perth being touched on in most modern forms of media. although, i have to admit, perth is a really boring place, especially from a story standpoint. i can understand why they focused on the ship rather than fremantle itself. i have to admit though, i wished one of the characters had the balls to say "perth is so boring", i would've been laughing my shit off.   |

 for the record, fremantle locals do not speak fluent japanese. wouldve loved to see some perthish accent similar to what free!! did in its...second season? |

| I knew the expedition leader had worked with Shirase's mom before, but I didn't expect the entire crew, and even the ship itself, to be holdovers from the last trip. -Stray said: That moment when you realize it's not just gonna be a field trip...it's gonna be a feels trip.This was already obvious but... this anime will take us on a feels trip.. wont it. |

| Yep it isn't just passengers and goods boarding this ship, feels have make their way too. Shirase getting the story told about her mother was a much needed experience going forward. Now with pleasantries out of the way, time to seriously sail the seas once more. |

| Another chapter where it gave me the feeling of having seen it before, I guess I did see the anime a few years ago but I don't remember anything. And I'm more sure than if I saw it because with the passing of the episodes I feel small moments of Déjà vu. Anyway, these girls leave very good scenes xDD |

| Yes! They finally made it onto the ship! The adult crew seem like good folks, and I'm loving their character interactions already. It was nice to see some back story about Shirase's mom too. But man, hearing the crew worrying about the expedition got me anxious - I sure hope nothing tragically bad happens later on. I just want these girls to have a great time and make it back home safely. |

| Great way to finish Disc 1. Loving this dub so far. The girls are great and really bonding as a team. The adults have their issues and the kids aren't blind to them but everyone wants the mission to succeed. |
| More chill episode. Happy to see them all motivated for the journey. |
The girls are so funny together!  I am so curious to see where this is going :D |
