I'd say it was OK. The plot is kinda similar to Tonikawa, but the difference is that Kuga and Goshiki try to explore their relationship after getting connected by some "extra-terrestrial bond".

Since then, they kept on doing experiments regarding how close they should be, which turned out to be a welcome-gift session soon enough.

The only great thing was the introduction of Moka-nee to the plot. Thank god she was already married, else it'd be a serious problem to Kuga as well given the problem he has involved himself in accidentally.

All of this bullshit because the guy touched the girl's magical tale lol.

Grant me one hour on love's most sacred shores
To clasp the bosom that my soul adores,
Lie heart to heart and merge my soul with yours

From this point I honestly don't know where the show is going, sometimes feels like the setting about her is not really relevant.

Overall very sweet if not a bit similar to Roman Holidays. Again I really love the interactions between the male lead and his younger siblings. They are not the typical over-the-top brats in rom-coms.

It's such a pleasure to know that they spent an entire episode for the characters' study about themselves and each other('s body).
Help! I need somebody. Help! Not just anybody. Help! You know I need someone. Helpppppp!

tf are those developments? absolute fucking trash man who tf would even enjoy this. it's so 1 dimensional and boring. the ily part made me so angry like there's no build-up nothing and it just happens. the characters got no personality either, the reactions feel so cheap. i overlooked the ridiculous premise but now can't overlook this shit anymore.

Both of them are so cute. The ending was very wholesome and where she admitted liking Kuga. It's nice to see the development between them and how easily Kuga gets flushed around her. We also got to meet the author of the manga she was reading. Nice lady.

Almost nothing about the show so far is working for me, and I really wanted to like this.

The premise feels very awkward and contrived. The fantasy aspect is so overtly convenient in that it basically forces the main characters to stay close and be nice to each other, as if the show is locking them in a box and railroading them into a romance. The show then tacks on a lot of rules and "lore" one after another, before I even get to learn about and like the characters.

I could accept the premise and move on if the main characters are charming or if the story proper is interesting, but that is not the case here. As a point of comparison, I enjoyed the early parts of "ToniKawa" for having main characters that are actually into each other, and for getting the marriage over with quickly so the show can get going.

The romantic leads are just painfully bland characters. So far, they're both very nice people... and that's about it. The writing does not give them any interesting personalities, perspectives, insecurities, other relationships, or even minor quirks. I don't need them to be wacky and emotional, but I'm asking for something. "Deaimon" comes to mind; it's a very gentle slice-of-life, but the characters all have something slightly unusual going on and play off of each other in different ways, while still feeling like real people.

The conversations and interactions are so safe and uneventful that they barely add anything of substance to the relationship between the leads. I was so unengaged that some conversations started to feel like they flowed awkwardly, as if the responses didn't match the questions. This extended to scene progression too, where it felt like some scenes just ended and characters teleported to the next scene without resolution.

The animation and direction are definitely making the above problems worse. The characters do not feel very expressive and generally act stiff. The scenes generally have characters stand still facing each other and flap their mouths. The art is pleasant, but again, has nothing noticeably beautiful or special going on. Same with voice acting and music.

The more I think about it, the less I like the show, and the more disappointed I feel. :( Given the confession (?) at the end of the episode, I may give this another episode...

Among the other shows this season, I would say "Skip and Loafer" is the more promising and characterful romance/slice-of-life show.

What a good character development they are showing with Shiori and Ichiro, hopefully they will go slowly but with good lyrics, just as I like to see them advance in this type of anime :)
