| no way they killed the mom. rip. time for ittoki character development i guess and i hope so. i knew they would try to redeem the yellow haired girl. no one is more devasted as kousetsu. not even ittoki. imagine having to carry the burden of killing her even though she was being controlled. the controlling though wasn't explained. there's gotta be some connection for that dude to control kousetsu from a distance. was really shocking to see the death. but wasn't emotional at all, you would expect to get a bit misty-eyed but nope this anime has done a terrible job at makimg us emotionally invested in this anime and it's been 9 episodes man/ there are anime which make us emotionally invested in a single episode. |

She is the one who physically killed the mom because she is the child of the Koga leader who implanted brain chips into his kids. Yes there’s a traitor but Kosetsu is the one who killed the village head. Again don’t comment on my shit if you got dumb shit to say. |

Well at least Kirei had her redemption momentum but one girl still had her rough part going on. Rip for the backstabbed captain though, and looks like things going into more chaos next with Koga heavily attacks every village. Alright, been a fun ride rn, 3 last episode i guess, and i already catch up to the latest part. Holy shit... |

| I don't really understand what people mean when they say the series is starting to get good because it honestly isn't. It hasn't earned any of the moments it's tried to go for in this episode, and the mind control Kousetsu thing was a complete asspull that came out of nowhere. How am I supposed to feel sad about Yumika dying when the series has done little to actually endear her to me? She's been written as a complete moron in regards to how she handled Ittoki and his training, and has never had anymore personality beyond generic anime mom who's kind to everyone and stern sometimes, while everyone talks about how great she is. Also 9 episodes in and the world building is so bad we don't actually know why ninjas exist or what their role in this world is, since they seemingly don't do anything beyond screw with each other. |

| Kirei consciously obeyed her clan to become double agent that would've betrayed Iga are the right moment, but she chose not to. Meanwhile Kousetsu who to her mind was genuinely loyal this entire time was a sleeper agent. Hence the the looks in her eyes after her body uncontrollably committed the crime. |

@Sekiro94 the plot twist are non existent in this anime, nothing gets you excited just because it's so bad written. The "plot twists" you mention have no build up whatsoever just because the author comes up and says "dude look some cool stuff the protagonist's friend is being controlled by the enemy since birth" is not a plot twist it's just a way of continuing the already bad story
its still better than most of nowadays copy paste isekais. And its not isekai which is great fkcing plus for change. But yea its not perfect or above average but its good to .pass time
| @Sekiro94 This is a generic show with no interesting characters, no interesting plot or interesting themes, the animation isn't even good to make up for it. It's not any better than any generic isekai because it has the exact same problems, and it sure as hell don't compare to Spy x Family. |
