| These maids have no chill lol, always using violence to solve problems. It looks like Manami wants a piece of Oink Oink. Looks like this episode had to deal with a problem of sisterhood, especially from Ranko. The sisterhood bond seemed kinda silly but also important. Probably the most tense episode I've seen out of this series so far and I was actually not expecting Nerula to be shot. Yikes. What an ending! |

| Some bad gal is back on the streets. Like really bad. I wasn't expecting Nerula to die at her hands. While this show was fucked up from the very beginning, now the winds of change have begun to blow fr. Sucks to be Nagomi and Tenchou should be ashamed. Will there be vendetta? There's some mutual respect between Ranko and the Crimson Supernova. Both adhere to old school, so I'm hoping for an interesting rivalry. |

| NOOO NERULA. I was thinking they were gonna subvert expectations and somehow have her use the power of friendship to win, but nope, 9mm 8x to the abdomen will do it for anyone. I love how the show is so brutal and unforgiving, but damn did Nagomi deserve to keep her sister and have a good ending. |

| Oh, so now the main plot is kicking into gear, and Manami Yamagishi a.k.a the Crimson Supernova, out and released from prison, is the one to shake things up to break the facade of peace between the Creatureland and Maidalien groups in Akihabara to revive the Akiba Big Bang. Word has spread out, and danger has spread throughout. Though Manami's meeting with Ranko is unassuming, Nagomi with her rival group's friend Nerula still survives well, and Manager's sudden meeting for Oinky Doink Café to get their shit together and face the consequences, with Nagomi's non-violence nature, it's inevitable that she has to get into the mind state of war. But for Ranko, sisterhood isn't something that she associates with, and she's been living by herself most of the time. Needless to say, Nagomi treasures friendship more than violence, and truces with Nerula with their oath of sisterhood through a bowl of ramen. Nevertheless, the war between humans and aliens, Nagomi would've NEVER thought that Nerula's cafe is at the center of war with them until the secret note was handed out. Getting the police tipped off on this is a detriment to the operation, and I don't know if she knew, but trying to find Nerula is the worst choice she could ever make, but she didn't have any choice rather. A maid's gotta fight for her life, and as much as Nagomi wants to butt in, it's a business of one's survival, and Nerula paid the price for her betrayal. The oath of sisterhood is dead, it's an all-out war, and Nagomi must learn the hard way: to kill or not to kill. |

| Maannnnnnn, why you gotta do Nerura like that. Overall, the storytelling was decent for this. It's given Nagomi a reason to fight, and protect the ones she cares about, while showing her what will happen if she doesn't get stronger. I hope that when the time comes, we see Nagomi beat the rival company without needing to kill. If she's able to win this war, while showing mercy to the ones who've done her wrong... that would be one hell of a good ending. |

| Not many times you see the bond of brotherhood or sisterhood not making it out alive, but yeah not in whack series like this. This should work out as a reality check for Nagomi. |

| I was definitely expecting Nerula to turn on Nagomi at some point. I wonder if this is gonna be Nagomi's turning point, or if she's gonna find a way to do something without violence. I'm really wondering who allowed that manager to get to her position. |

| Nerula :'( she was such a good girl. i can already see that supernova and ranko getting into a hot fist-fight. they did a good job in making supernova as detestable as possible. i just can't seem to comprehend why nerula didn't have a gun. even poor maids of oinky doinky have guns but nerula didn't have one tf? surely would have been better if she died after at least killing the supernova. what a day. saw 2 character's death today in 2 different seasonals. *cries* |

| The one character holding this show back from true greatness is Nagomi, so it's good, in a way, to see her encounter some rough stuff. Her attachment with Nerula was quickly lost, and hopefully that motivates her to become a bit more cold-hearted and fitting of a maid, to get her revenge. This show is still playing it rather safe in my opinion with the "insanity" since Episode 1, and my liking for it has dwindled, but I'm still staying relatively positive with this show. Hope it can have a comparatively stronger second half. |
| Nagomi is learning Akiba things the hard way, hopefully it'll sharp her will to stay herself and master her maid career. RIP Biggie Smalls Nerura, I enjoyed your tragically cut screentime and gentle relationship with Nagomi. Very balanced and weighty episode. |

| So far in this series, I've been used to seeing a lot of rivals maids getting killed off in many ways, but seeing a normal and true-to-the-heart honest maid like Nerula being the next one to be killed off hits different. =( Even though MaidAlien was taken over by the return of SuperNova, who didn't waste time in putting her foot down and swinging her red bat like it's gone out of fashion, Nerula and Nagomi made their own little sisterhood pact. Sadly, this was very short lived as Nerula was found out to be the spy and was killed off in front of Nagomi and Ranko, despite her valiant and defiant last stand. This was another harsh lesson for Nagomi, although you can't blame her too much in this episode with her beliefs. It does end the first half of this series on that brutal note and sets up an incoming war between the two Maid companies that'll most likely dominate the remaining six episodes. I do look forward to seeing how bloody this battle will turn out. |

| Dang, I know they're killing people left and right in this show, but I was not expecting for someone who was close to Nagomi, Nerula, to get executed just like that. 5.1/5 episode What I really like is how it's not an entirely episodic-style series, where they go and wipe out maid cafes on a weekly basis. It could've very well continue on like that, but I'm going to assume that that will only be the case for the first half of this show, the 2nd half dedicated to all-out war. It was fun watching one rampage after another, but it turns out those actions were not without consequences at all. Everything they did was not just simply for fun or for shock-value for the viewer, but it carried actual weight to it, which has resulted in the death of the person Nagomi had grown closest to so far. Nagomi's probably going to awaken and go berserk and single-handedly lay waste to Maidalien in one of these next episodes. |

| Episode made me think of the Yakuza Papers films with the brotherhood/sisterhood and one of them dying plotline, I love this show so much. Doing a Sakazuki blood oath using a bowl of ramen had me cracking up. |

| The one person outside the Oinky Doink that Nagomi cares for has died though that's inevitable it's just a matter of when, I gotta say Nagomi just can't have a break and that oath to sisterhood must be a parody to a real yakuza oath because that's just funny. Nagomi's probably going to awaken and go berserk and single-handedly lay waste to Maidalien in one of these next episodes. Maybe more than that, she might end the whole turf wars in Akiba and turn it into the peaceful otaku town we know today. |

| And now the titular accident is about to erupt! By the way, Ranko and Creatureland's boss have prominent roles in this story so I was wondering if the maid that shoot their boss will also make her appearance in the second half of the show (unless she's the one inside the panda costume). |

| Dude, Nagomi is so fucking annoying. Six episodes filled with mafia shit have passed and she still acts all naive and stupid. It's unbearable. Anyways, good thing this show finally found some footing. Also RIP Nerura. She only appeared during Nagomi's "breaks" and the show tried to make us believe their relationship was super deep despite being mere acquaintances but ignoring all that, I can say she was a real one. Such a shame she brought a knife to a gun fight tho. |
| As soon as they mentioned sisterhood I saw death flags all over too! Especially in Yakuza type shows where the sworn brother / sister ALWAYS dies!!! And it happened! Then the tragic Yakuza music!! The other tropes I thought would happen were the Bad Ass Returns from Prison and the "mole" story line. Can't wait to see what's next, actual gang war? |

| Nerura death is making me tear up. This show is way better made then expected. Is it corny for sure It takes tropes or themes to 11 when it does them. |
