| only episode 2 and this has to be one of the top anime for me this season. The drama of this show is amazing, and the fact that we as the viewer are seeing it from Elianna's perspective makes it even better. We're just as confused as her and it makes a lot of the reveals so amazing. Genuinley can't wait to see where the rest of the season takes us, like if Eli will start to take on some of the Queen's responsibilities, and finally deepen her relationship with the prince. |

| irene got what she deserved, I don't even know how she thinks she could get away with it on that half assed plan. So no escape now for Elianna, she will be the queen as everyone approves her now. This old school type shoujo romance is what i miss on most shoujo shows now, that why I put this anime as one of my anticipated. |

| Okay, none of this makes any lick of sense to me whatsoever. This whole episode just felt like it was trying to shove in needless drama just for the sake of it. First of all, everyone claims Elianna supposedly did all these wonderful things for them...but we never see her actually do all that they described on screen, before or during the episode in question! All she's ever shown doing is loitering around the Royal Archives, that's it! It almost seems like the show is trying to shill her and give her praise when she hasn't actually done anything to earn it. I don't know if these details are expanded on in the light novels, as I haven't read the LNs, and do feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but seriously, this whole episode felt so annoying to me. Plus, Elianna makes absolutely no effort to, like, TALK to any of these people or explain herself! Everybody else just does it for her! Lady, I understand you're insecure and all, but would it seriously kill you to actually talk to these people?! Even a little bit?! Or even ask about anything that's going on?! This is the same woman who assumes her whole marriage is ruined just because...her fiance talked to some other lady, and not even in an overtly romantic way, either! Seriously, the whole episode would have been resolved in five minutes if Elianna had just asked questions or fucking talked to somebody for five seconds and not jump to conclusions! I'm still gonna watch the rest of the series, but man, this episode was just...annoying. |

| Irene looks so much like Raeliana from The Reason Why Raeliana Ended Up At The Duke's Mansion, but this girl is such a bitch. And the entire girl-attempting-miserably-to-act-innocent scene reminded me of the first episode of Ouran High School Host Club. Even Christopher looks like Tamaki lmao. A slightly better episode than the first one, but this show is definitely not my cup of tea. The entire fiasco felt so forced, like where the heck did this Alan dude come from and when did Elianna do all these helpful things?? Show, not tell. I feel like everything would've been a lot more satisfying to watch if there was slightly more build-up, or at the very least we actually got to know some of the side characters. And the way Walmart Tamaki said, "I'll never let you go"....like bro this is not what Elianna signed up for 😭 But I guess since Elianna likes him it's all fine and dandy ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I hope Elianna learns to stand up for herself more, like c'mon girl. |

The Mary-Sue levels of Elianna are off the charts lol And her attitude is just annoying. Irene saying all those horrible things about her and Elianna just standing there thinking "but I didn't do that", OH MY GOD WOMAN, SPEAK UP! I actually agree with Irene that she's not fit to be queen. Not because she's a bibliophile, but because of that attitude she has. |

| Not the classic "I thought you were out at your aunt's". She was too mature-- even as a "phony princess", like bro get jealous harder. On a second thought, I see why this got adapted. It's picking up. And the chemistry between the seiyuus is insane. |

| Irene was so bland and dumb for an antagonist and not in a fun way. I was just like Elianna when all these people started to dump how great she is which made Irene look more like the biggest idiot in this whole room but also suddenly Elianna has a personality beyond walking around in a sad way and loving books. This drama is just toothless but let's see what they do next. |
| Well, it was really short season for this, Raven Consort and Taming the Last Boss. It was like watching anime in speed run. Skipping all the episodes from middle to the end. See you in the winter season when Tsundere Villainess Lieselotte airs! |

| For the first half of the episode I was thinking "Elianna wins by doing absolutely nothing." But it turns out she's been helping the kingdom by giving fantastic book recommendations. And all of those accomplishments are her own, heck she even spotted a fake art piece. Good for her. This is the right kind of comfy anime. |

| I love this 2nd episode but a bit disappointing as there was something amiss this episode. It feels like they skipped most of the "dark part" of the story and just animated the "light part", and most importantly the things Eliana helped with their subjects/people weren't animated. I'd like to see it animated if they actually exist but I'm still happy that the prince isn't an idiot and actually saved Eliana from an assassination. This episode was truly wonderful. |
| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |
| I knew she was manipulative from the first episode. All of the random hazards and it just happened to be her that destroyed her book. |
