The possibility was there, but "Alice" is a rather more common name component than any possible breakdown of "Weasalopes"... grin.

While not having been sure of that connection, the very small number of MAL 'friends' indicated you weren't the type to send out friend requests randomly, nor to accept such when on the receiving end, leading to the conclusion that digging a little to see where such a connection, or at least commonality of interests/views would be found.

Don't mind me, I devoured several encyclopedias and dictionaries when young, as well as reading far too many works of fiction by authors who were paid by the word.

My initial reaction to the friend request was my usual "Who is this person and why do they want me as a friend? Are they nuts?!" grin
Looked at Anime/Manga in common; not so much. Good stuff, but not that many.
Then I looked at your comments on the Honzuki anime.
