| Cute to see Yaeka hang out with Tooru and Kei at a local festival...and it seems that she's starting to get used to her new lifestyle. The show did an interesting job at expression her character emotions again, especially for a kid her age. |

| Another nice episode. Seems the main is getting a bit softer now he is taking care of Yaeka and he really cares about her. The scene of him talking about her mother was nice. But the scene with the imposters clearly showed he was getting a bit softer. The best part was at the fireworks festival tho it showed how Yaeka opened up to him and that he is also willing to help her out. So far i think this is the best anime of the season from what i have seen. |

| The absence of Yaeka's mom really took a toll on her. But with Kirishima by his side, I think she will bear it. The same goes for Kirishima also. The promise was also sweet along with Sugihara. |

| From someone who really enjoyed the first episode, this second episode felt like a let down. It feels like they are just skipping development to get straight to the big emotional climaxes. Like the second half of this episode felt like it should have been episode 6, aka the turning point of the show, and the first half feels like it should have been more towards the end. Now I begin to question what there even is to do with the story now that the presumed main conflict is almost done. Like is it gonna meander for ten episodes straight while filling it with pointless side characters while trying to hit the same emotional notes to the point they get repetitive? Like that is the feeling I got from this episode. I am probably overreacting, but this episode really made me doubtful for this show. |

| Haha, Kirishima is just playing with Sugihara...until a rival gang of the Sakuragi Family comes in to impersonate their family and drag their names to the ground. These fakes must be dealt with. Even so, a fireworks festival to accompany the lil' daughter Yaeka to, and instead of Kirishima, using his right-hand man Sugihara as a comedy gag tool while he does all the work, and Yaeka is just reaping the benefits from the babysitting, what a figure. Winning the rabbit plushie to the pinky swears between Kirishima and Sugihara, it's both cute and sweet. Now then, to go an settle the real issue: the phonies who're dealing with the hospital and around the town, then come back home to find Yaeka already asleep. Welcome back home. Yaeka asking about Kirishima's mother while eating cookies, there is a reason: she's worried for hers (mother Miyuki) who's presumably in a coma for years in her vegetable state after a horrific accident. And learning the truth after all those years, it's hard for the daughter to swallow her mother's condition, that only people like Kirishima know all too well to give Yaeka a pep talk and lead her to the same understanding. Miyuki's a strong mother...and so is Sugihara being a nicetie. Kirishima, beneath his gangster facade, is actually a nice dude as well...the babysitting changing his perspectives for the greater good. |

| This episode is too sweet for my heart. The emotional resonance this anime brings is really beautiful. I just love it. Yaeka is such a cute comfort character. Can't wait for the next episode (｡･ω･｡)ﾉ♡ |

| So a rival gang has hired some goons to go around saying they’re not just from the Sugihara group but they’re Kirishima and Kei as well huh? Now we’re getting into some proper yakuza type situation lol. But before that! We have some straight up wholesomeness. Yaeka asking Kirishima to the festival was so cute. Her hugging rabi-kun, eating takoyaki, enjoying shaved ice, watching fireworks… so precious! It’s nice seeing her coming out of her shell a little and opening up. And how cute she tried to stay up for him! It seems Kirishima is starting to change as well. The fact that he let the fake go instead of turn his face into ground meat seems to indicate that lol. But in a more serious note, I appreciate the way he explained the mom’s situation to Yaeka. It’s a lot for the kid to bear. The dad has had it hard too. Yaeka’s right about Kirishima. He’s a good guy deep down. I really enjoyed watching the way these two have slowly changed this episode. It’s pretty heartwarming to see the positive effects they’ve had on each other’s lives. |

| Emotional but really sweet episode. Kirishima put some strenght into Yaeka so she could visit her mother again. What happend to her is tragic but life is full of that. She opened up a lot in this episode and it was quite a suprise to see her talk so much. But, with a man like Kirishima, everything is possible. |

| Dang We're only at episode 2 and things had to get dark really quick. But then again, I suppose the matter of Yae-chan's mother had to be brought up at some point. It must be really tough for Yae-chan to grow up without her mother's presence, but I guess her father and Kirishima are trying their best to help her out. I don't know about you, but I felt utterly broken during that second half. I did not want to see Yae-chan crying because that just feels so heartbreaking. What I will say is that Kirishima is doing rather a good job of looking after Yae-chan, with rather minimal support from Sugihara. Welp, I hope things lighten up in the following episodes. |

| This show is really leaning more into the yakuza half of its premise than I was expecting it to. I thought that would be a framing device for cute scenes of the "babysitting" half, so it's a pleasant surprise to see it not just come up so regularly but to also be so well-woven into that babysitting half. Shows can often struggle to juggle such disparate elements (cough Gakkou Gurashi cough), but this is doing a surprisingly good job of it so far. My only complaint is that they're treating the stuff with Yaeka's mother with about the subtlety of a sledgehammer, with kids in her class constantly talking about their mothers and that flashback to Yaeka visiting her mother being rather on-the-nose in its approach. It's highly emotional stuff, for sure, but it's perhaps trying a little too hard to make you feel sad about it so early into the show's run. I did like how Yaeka articulated her feelings about the situation to Kirishima, though; it definitely felt like the way a young child like her would or could come to view the situation without fully understanding. Also, where does the show go from here to fill out a cour? I really feel like we shouldn't have reached this point in episode 2, but more towards the end of the show. |

| I'm not an expert on head trauma or Coma's but How is Yaeka's mother awake talking to Kirishima about protecting her family and then being in a coma for two years? I feel like for most accidents you just go straight into the coma no? Idk that was really my only gripe with this episode. The rest was awesome. Great episode. |

| Cute episode with a cute message. After Kirishima and Sugihara's fight to clean their names, we had a emotional development regarding Yaeka and her mother. She is strongest than the cute oujou thought. This anime is beautiful and very kind. |

| Didn’t expect some serious stuff this early, but we already knew about Yaeka’s mom being in bad shape so it didn’t hit too hard lol, but man Yaeka’s tears really made it tough, but bless Kirishima for helping her realize what her mom was going through, I really like the way he worded it too. But besides the heavy stuff, I loved the summer festival bit, fitting for the summer season and it was really sweet seeing Kirishima, Sugihara and Yaeka enjoy the festivities together, we even got some badass Yakuza stuff when Kirishima “won” the rabbit for Yaeka, and later on dealt with the fakes of he and Sugihara. |

| Man, I fucking love the gap lmao. Honestly did not expect this show to be this somber and sad, I am crying fr fr. This show is great, the pacing is kind of fast though. Yaeka must be protected at all costs, though with Kirishima around, we have nothing to worry about. Really looking forward to the next episode. |

| Aww another sweet episode. Yaeka and Toru sure are getting closer to each other, from the fun fireworks festival to the sweet talk they had, their relationship sure is getting sweeter. On the other side though, Akuma Tooru sure is scary, almost cost the impostor his head with that bottle. But like he said, as long as Yaeka doesn't become like him, the boss will be fine....no cap I laughed when he said it like that. I'm pretty sure Toru had some people that looked to him as a kind person in the past, will we get that it's up to the anime, for now let's have that Yaeka and Miyuki reunion at hand for next week. |

| The festival scene with Yaeka, Kirishima and Sugihara was so heartwarming. The way Yaeka talks is so cute. Anyone will melt after hearing her speak. Anime kids are so adorable than the annoying kids of the reality... Sometimes it's better to understand even a little bit of Japanese. The subtitles of what those two hosts were saying was so censored. The red haired girl actually said Kirishima touched her boobs. The black haired girl actually said Sugihara touched her ass. |
