| OK episode. This show kind of gives me a "Hataraku Maou-sama" vibe, except it's a male hero and a female demon lord. The scenes where Leo tells the story of how he defeated each general was kind of boring, but I suppose it was a nice way to introduce the 4 characters. The idea that people all of a sudden turned again Leo felt nonsensical, but I assume (or hope) that this is explained later in the story. |
| That ending or opening (whatever it is) was really impressive like dang the animation on the characters moving was so smooth. The hero's backstory is obviously generic but that's not where my interest lies. I like the fact that the elite four are all really chill people, and it was cool seeing the backstory of how they were all defeated by the hero. Even the demon queen seems secretly chill, she probably has a bigger political reason for trying to "take over the world." The reason they fear the hero is stupid but also kinda realistic. This dude single handedly defeated the demon queen's army. At least they weren't overly dramatic about his betrayal from his homeland, like I've seen a million times before. The story isn't going for revenge fantasy more like a dude switching up jobs with the rival company. |

| I was a bit excited for the anime, but knowing it's isekai i know i had to keep my expectations low, thought i guess i didn't set them low enough, i think average is the best way to describe it, i expected a bit more from it than "im turning to demon girl side who is acutally a good person and everyone else is evil and treated me bad" , but i guess it's gonna turn really quickly in a generic harem anime with close to no real plot, or at least nothing new, i don't know why they didn't included the harem tag when it's obvious where the plot is leading GoldSakura said: in the very beginning of the episode we see a ruined "modern world" with skyscrapers and cars but after that and in the flashbacks of the hero we have a medieval world. can someone explain this? im really confused. | Another good pilot episode today, color me surprised. Hopeful for this one, good fantasy anime are few and far between recently, it seems... The initial premise is amusing, seems like a fun watch and something I could easily enjoy. |

| bland 1st episode, demon lord somehow ask them to minimum damage (background scene burning house and field) well ok "minimum", Hero who get exile because everyone scare him to become next demon lord, and also because defeat demon lord? lol doesnt make sense, also Mc motive join demon army, because he is exile? well, so bland, i give it 3 episodes rule |
| that's a hot drop , was like ehh maybe it isn't a isekai but it totally is even with it's reverse plot of trying to join the demon king or queen in this matter think i would be able to tolerate this if it didn't have such a unlikeable piece of shit of a MC that in it's self i thought was a parody , i knew Virgin Road was gonna ruin the rest of the season for me dealing with these more generic Isekai MC's lol was like yep uh this dude doesn't seem like one that should have all these powers clap his ass for now i can't really tell if it wants to be a comedy or serious edge but i think with the demon queen not being all bad that it's gonna be more of a lighter tone but i dont know there's something here but as of now i dont think it's gonna keep me interested unless i hear some good stuff |

| It's a nice episode. Not expecting much. I'll just watch for the story. BTW the OP visuals and song is great especially in the chorus I love the action there and slow motion along with the singing of the artist. |

| Seems like i was right that this series kinda used a lot of reference on hands with other generic stereotype and trope. But to my surprise they also got some tonari no Totoro reference with Totoro turned out to be a loli fox (hope i am right with her race because i couldn't think straight determining it myself)! What make them lose were absolutely no cooperation when facing Leo the Demonheart. If only those five, i mean four, because one little thing i doubt pretty much helpful to the teamworks fight, giving another battle together, at least Leo should've been taste some hell moment. Alas, instead, feels like Echidna lack of leadership to manage even her own general, and its sure ended them into an obvious destruction. Kinda questioned whats the relations with that first sequence with the whole initial setting. So even if this is not really the perfect series i've been waiting, at least there's a reason why i start this in the first place. Or two, i must honest. Yes, Shutina. Well, maybe Lily too. But holy shit what the fuck that mage succubi indeed a hot busty thicc one. Hope there's more of her next beside of Echidna beside that ridiculous humiliation coming from Leo. Pfft, stasis spell. Alright, lets see next.... |

| The show itself is not bad and I like it but @my bro who did the subtitles... Do YOU really NEED to cap some WORDS every 0.5 SEC?!!! As someone who does a bit of manga-scanlating from time-to-time as a hobby, it ANNOYED the HELL out of ME! Most of those WORDS don't even need EMPHASIZING in the first place... SMH |

| Wasn't bad, comparing to popular shows animation and failures for the first episode it is better than alot of others do so far. I guess this title will aim to be some sort of a realist hero or genius prince (haven't seen realist hero so idk how similar it is to genius prince), but maybe it will surprise. From all characters introduced only Edvard/Edwald was the weakest one who looks like Iskandar/Alexander from Fate/Zero but slightly demonized. |
| Posts questioning the king's decision to banish the hero are pretty baffling. It's obviously a powerplay here. The king is probably afraid of MC knowing some fcked up thing they are doing to their own citizen. So the king made sure his people hate MC as much as possible so whatever he says will have no effect. It's already hinted by demon queen telling her soldiers to liberate cities by minimizing casualties. This is probably gonna be controversial series. We'll see. |

| Anime actually looks pretty interesting, I kinda like the story and how the dude literally saved the kingdom and then gets shunned on and now he's here tryna get into the demon army 🤣 I think the characters are really cool as well, yea sure lili might seem annoying but I hope I aint the only one that thinks she is adorable and love the clingy-ness... might have to add I decided to watch this anime cos I saw the scene where she wanna marry Leo on tik tok 👀 Haven't fully revealed Echidna just yet but from the way they portray her is a kind demon queen who doesn't want indiscriminate killing. I think I'll enjoy this anime :D |

| The scenarios of how the 4 demon general lost were pretty dumb, didn't expect that they were that weak which made the MC real OP. Anw, guess it's a decent start and just like the MC, I'm quite intrigued of Demon Queen Echidna's ideals. |

| Leo after being unwelcomed from both sides, has finally found a way to join the Demon King's Army. Seems like it's time to build a new kingdom with Echidona. The backstory wasn't all that well done but then again I think it's pointless to expect anymore. It's always a chore to get through the first episodes of most isekai especially when they're trying to establish the premise, but now that's out of the way I hope we can get to the good part. |

| Before starting the anime, the premise was the most interesting part about this. Unfortunately, it's still the most interesting thing about this after ep 1. The entire episode was just a full on exposition dump which gave extra information to all the things that were already shown in the PVs, and in no way that was interesting and obviously the production is going to be extremely weak. |
| Interesting premisse, but the budget is apparently kinda limited (only the OP was def pretty, rest is very MEH)...also, what directing is this, over half of the episode was just flashbacks+monologues of the MC. Bad exposition. |
