Team Flower's Bloom Ball anime VO work is coming along to the final stretches of sound dubbing production, they can feel it. And AiRBLUE is pumping up as the day approaches to see one of their 4 Teams achieve their goal.

For Haruna's side role to get a main role at the very tail end of the Bloom Ball anime, this is quite normal for characters to exist outside of the parent series. Haruna's dream to be a Seiyuu because of her envisioned dream for being an anime VA, now she has realized that dream, but there's more work to be done before all of this can come to a close. For now, it's a word of congrats and appreciation to everyone who've given their effort for the sound production. Haruna receiving an autograph from the manga author herself, seems like there was a spark of renewed interest, and it's thanks to Haruna for making it possible.

Of course, everyone watching the screening, holds their breath for the final product, and it went without a hitch.

A fine 1st half, let's see if things can be improved in the 2nd half.

"Thank you for giving me a wonderful voice." That scene was really touching. Haruna can be a very proud of herself.

What a cute smile. <3

Yeah, this ahow had a pretty good first half. I only disliked that silly marriage episode. That cat episode is still my favorite so far. =^_^=

Aww, Haruna's tortoise was like "bye bye" at the end.

Everyone looked so happy. Good job, girls!

This episode was very impressive, it is a masterpiece. When everyone sat together and watched their work, it reminded me a lot of Shirobako. ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Great episode! Haruna did a great job voicing Momoumi and the author even gave her a signed illustration of her!

Looking forward to the next episode!

Probably my favourite episode so far, this show has grown on me quite a lot, once you get more familiar with the large cast of characters.

Honestly, when I started watching this, I had little to no hope, but when the story developed more, I'm enjoying watching each and every one of the characters doing what they like. This episode specifically, just made me smile at the end, just because of the joy it brought.

Since we're not done with the anime yet, and we have 12 more episodes of even more stories from the other characters, for now, the anime in my opinion is a clear 8/10.

Same. All of the drama the characters have gone through combined has not been as impactful as just seeing Haruna so grateful and happy that she is achieving her dream.

Rinne holding an axe while telling her crew that they got a play to practice for gets me good.

Haruna getting a gift from the mangaka is really sweet and is nice to see that she really loved Haruna's voice.

I liked it because the episode shows the disclosure of a broomball animation and the presentation of Student A, now called Momomi and Haruna, to thank the creator of the manga because Momomi found her.

Full Shirobako vibes we got this week and I absolutely loved it.

Easily, the best episode of this first cour. It's just so rewarding to see your efforts finally paying off after all the hard work. I'm so happy for Haruna and all the AiRBLUE girls.

The second I finished watching the episode, I came to raise the rating I had given to the show. The two-way relationship they have with the creators and the rest of the team and the very presentation of this profession gives a little different, but strong as in Shirobako vibe.

Dude, that turtle wave hand, lmao. Very solid episode to wrap up the first cour storyline. The episode just too beautiful than i expected. Finally Haruna student A character had a full name revealed, even if her character had only one line, two with the beginning, its strong af. Mangaka herself giving the sketch directly to her, honored moment right there. I can't help but smiling too when Haruna smile in the end. Heartbreaking moment when knowing this is also kinda the peak of her character under those little highlight. I also like how everyone celebrating the first episode screening together. And looks like there's more audition incoming, i wonder whose the lucky girls get the position for the next cour anime? Hopefully the last group also got a fair amount of screentime like what Haruna group got there. So, lets see how they wrap it up next season. Can't wait....

I think that this series should be a must watch for anyone passionate about the anime. I love how they brought the feelings of newbie seiyuu when they see for the first time the anime that they voiced.
It was really beautiful and I'm so glad that CUE is 2 cour series.
Not to mention that this series really shows why dubs are absolutely disastrous and why original voice acting is the only true way to watch foreign media.
Dub = fake crap. Always.

Strong way to end the 1st half for sure, it was especially heartwarming to see Haruna finally achieving her dream to have a proper character to voice in a series, and ended up crying in the arms of the mangaka xD And seems like they were all happy with the broadcast of the 1st episode, now I wonder what's next in the 2nd cour

She cried on the one-of-a-kind sketch. lol I swear.
That being said, we already knew, but I'm really glad she felt so happy about her first named role. Not that the additional voices aren't fun, but it's nice to have a character with an image! She's more talented than she thinks to be given the additional roles though. It shows good range and a really good knack for improvisation (which we saw in the audition)!

Huh? I don't really see how it shows that when a lot of the things in this anime can easily apply to dub voice actors/dub voice acting as well. Like, if you made an anime about dubbing an anime, it would pretty much look like the same thing (except a little more solitary).

Many dub voice actors go through the same feelings and situations just with the added layers of not being able to go too far out of the box of the original voice actor's performance, usually having to act out lines alone, and usually having to deal with a part of the fanbase that will hate you no matter how hard you work, how much you hone your craft, and no matter how good you actually are.

You can have your opinion that dubs are bad/"disastrous", but I'm pretty much just saying this anime isn't a very good argument for that since it illustrates more of an appreciation for the craft of voice acting in general and has already emphasized the idea of having respect for and embracing many different types of voice acting/performance (radio show, children's theatre, idol/VA hybrid, and so on). While they haven't shown it specifically, "many different types of voice acting/performance" would, indeed, include dubbing.

ROFL.
They surely have contact with the original creators, directors, and writers. Surely they also have contact with and knowledge of the source culture too.
Don't make me laugh.
If you still don't understand something this simple - why dubs are ALWAYS inferior (regardless of the country origin) even after watching this series, then it's only your problem.

I didn't say anything was inferior or superior, so I'm not sure how to respond to that... but here we go!

My point is still that this anime is perhaps not really good to use for the argument of "dubs are absolutely disastrous". There are a lot of reasons you could use to support that argument, but this anime isn't really a great example.

I originally came from the perspective of seiyuu/voice actors since that's what the anime is about, but even on a more general level, there isn't anything in this anime that shows dubs will be/are disastrous. Sure, a layer of the original creation process won't be there, but not having it doesn't mean dubs will be disastrous without it since, as I said, a lot of the recording and acting process is still the same.

Since you brought it up, I do want to note that while some dub teams do have contact with a part of the original team, the originals have usually already relayed their messages on what they feel is absolutely needed if the anime will be dubbed. Additionally, the original creator actually isn't always at an anime's original recording sessions, so it really doesn't make or break the process. Meanwhile, some dub voice actors do try to be as acquainted with the source culture as possible. I don't feel these things are the reasons why a dub might be disastrous or not though. All the dub voice actors could be living in the country of origin, learn how to speak the original language, and even work directly with the original team yet the dub can still be disastrous-- or since I'm already at this point, the original recording can be disastrous as well. Not every production goes well, after all.

I do want to say that "disastrous" and "inferior" are not the same. Just as an example, a dub can be inferior, but not be disastrous. A dub can be inferior AND disastrous, but that's not saying the same thing.

A great finale to the first part of the anime, with the Bloom Ball anime coming to an end

The Momomi scenes have a lot of layers to it, glad to see that Haruna has a named character to voice, and that she managed to inspire the mangaka to write a spin-off

The first half of the anime was ok, so here's to hoping the second half is better
