Why do all the antagonists in this show seem psychotic...none of them show normal behavior especially Alchemist this episode.

Nothing else changed much from this episode related to others with the tactical battles and relationship between our main cast. I'm not sure what the endgoal of this anime is but going to keep expectations low for the finale.

Alchemist is such a crazy and ruthless chick. I like her character.

One episode to go. Hoping for a good finale.

The newest Griffin T-Doll Squad Negev looks like they've haven't had a taste of the battlefield while acting as reconnaissance, but M4A1's obsession with AR-15 never seems to end. And soon enough, yet another Sangivs Ferri T-Doll Alchemist rocks onto the scene being the same psychotic behaviour as the others.

And to stop the insanity of that many Sangvis controlled by numerous Ringleaders (that not just Alchemist alone), for Squad Negev to even survive is a miracle for the AR Team to merge. The problem with AR Team is that they went missing after AR15's reveal, and M4A1 is brought to a tearful reunion with her, especially when AR15 is preparing M4A1 for Sangvis' revival.

One more episode to go, and hoping that it's decent.

Given the tactics used last time its no wonder Gentiane will be pissed. Never thought that we'll be able to see Team Negev animated. Negev's boundless positivity is as refreshing as always. The pincer attack sure did well to break Negev squad out of that predicament. Still the mystery around AR15 sure is getting deeper. Not to mention the fact that all forces within that AO were recalled en masse as well. Wonder did AR15 get hacked by the Sangvis. Looking forward to the finale next week.

Most of this episode was a rescue mission to save Negev and her squad, and a new ringleader was introduced, Alchemist, looks like we have a new eyepatch waifu lol, but I still prefer M16. I also liked Negev’s squad a lot, Negev herself has a nice design (a shame they removed the stars tho) and the others look cute as well, and of course I noticed some classics like the Galil and Uzi. The later half of this episode was pretty rough for AR team, AR15 suddenly reappears but now she’s missing once again and she’s taken M4A1 with her this time, I’m guessing she’s really far gone and being controlled by Sangvis, I was unsure at first but now it seems like the obvious answer.

Got 1 more week left of this show, while it hasn’t had the best quality, definitely still enjoyed it, and the show has had its cool moments, of course the waifus really sell this one as well.

1 episode left. Gotta say that the anime as a whole was quite enjoyable once I set my expectations down. Fight scenes are still as dull as ever but other than that it was pretty good.

Also looks like the anime's run out of episodes to adapt the manga 1 to 1. I was kinda worried but it's actually quite refreshing to see new scenes.

I still feel like the anime hasn't really got a fight scene to actually look good though. The one with M16 and HK416 a while back was decent but that's about it.

Nice to see Negev get animated.

M4 and AR15 just suddenly disappeared, leaving SOPII behind.

Only one episode left.

I do not how to rate or understand this anime anymore.

The fighting scenes are great. The action looks great without any giant fights or explosions.

But I cannot like this anime anymore.
The Story is all over this place. It is barely explained or even shown. They rush from one fight to the other without giving a brief explanation about the story.

SOPII is still my Waifu of this show, but none of the characters have any deep meaning. Even AR15 and M4A1 have a strange relationship that is too cryptic.

Either this shows pulls of a giant final episode or it will end without any deep meaning.

I liked it because the episode shows that Gentian is discussing a doll backup with someone. Air Fifteen seems to have formed an alliance with Sanbis because he took Mfoway One to a certain base, and I think it is the base of Sanbis.

twas whatever I guess, now to the final ep and I can't wait to see how this anime gonna wrap it self up, either its gonna be original ending for the anime or some bullcrap cliffhanger ending that would make you have to download the game to know the rest of the story (which is not a bad thing).

Finger crossed for some kind of sequel or anything related to it

I really like the negev squad to be honest, though the situation is worrying, especially what AR-15 is trying to do on M4A1 now that she got her :S

Hold on, i remember there's Kryuger around the AR team. Where the hell was his juggernaut team, or my brain getting infected by Parapluie too? Oh well, fuck me...

Anyway, i like how the supposed-to-be a supporting squad actually getting supported in the end. The fact that Griffin doll always under most of the dire situations makes me worries. How much Sangvis control the wasteland, after having some glorious victor some time before?

Not to mention most of the time Gentiene didn't really understand the real situations on the battlefield, without being reported by the dolls. What if the dolls actually lied to her and giving false report? Even she couldn't understand the damn morse code. So its sure raising some noticeable dilemma to the surface. Then yeah, not surprising by how its ended, ST AR-15 showed herself and took M4 away.

Idk her real goal, shall be reveal next and last episode, or keep it mystery, i dunno. But with that being said, with all the plotline seems like jumbling from one to another, i can't help but be honest here, that i am not really grasping up Dfl overarching story.

Well, fuck then if that's being the case here. So lets just put this to end already in a few hour in front...

We get the penultimate episode as now people are noticing things are getting very screwy, which is pretty intentional. I never read the manga, only played the game, but if there's no more manga chapters to adapt, anime will probably go with the game's chapter 6 ending, which works out fine since the manga is pretty close to the game anyways adaption wise. Too bad we're gonna miss out on some of the really dark and messed up stuff and political intrigue that happens in the chapters after 6, at least this season. Though if the manga is out of chapters at the moment to adapt, then sadly looks like we won't be getting a season 2 anytime soon until the manga catches up to the game (which is at chapter 13 + 8 or so other event but story related chapters. Many of the events are full chapters if not bigger that happen in between 'main' chapters. Like chapters 10 and 11 have 3-4 extra chapters within them each if you count emergency missions).

Big sad the anime nerfed Negev and Tar-21's outfits though. I guess the anime has been trying to avoid censorship issues and displaying certain parts of t-dolls that reflect their country of origin. If that's the case, makes sense why they removed G36's German flag accessories in her headband too. Also, big let down we haven't seen M16 drink any Jack Daniel's yet or some kind of whiskey like in game.

Alchemist makes her surprise appearance, but so far the anime hasn't done a good job displaying just how crazy and messed in the head she is. She is another sadist like Dreamer, but much more violent and leans more into torturing t-dolls during her 'interrogations' of them. Maybe next episode will give her a bit more characterization, she's one of the more dangerous Sangvis for sure that anime onlies will find out why next episode. Helian ordering all t-dolls to withdraw is a big hint at this.

People also seem to be a bit confused with the pacing and I have to agree, the anime is rushing a lot of things together kind of, though the game is pretty fragmented as well. It never really goes into too much detail how much times passes between most missions, so the experience of the anime jumping around is actually in line with the game for this, though wish the game was clearer on time passed as well. Best way to look at it is that a couple days passed after AR team met Kryuger in the field, so he's off doing something else.

But yeah, with AR15 having secured M4, next episode is going to be nuts and ideally we'll get a cameo of best t-doll RO635 as the episode will no doubt end on the big cliffhanger that marks the end of chapter 6, as well as ending many other happier moments from the game and for AR team for multiple chapters to come. Hopefully the anime can manage to pull off the feels right and not leave anime onlies too disappointed.
No I don't read manga. Why? Because according to MAL manga readers, all anime is either: too rushed, too slow, anime original, or a terrible adaption. I like to enjoy anime for what it is, anime.

Of course it starts to get interesting just near the end.

Pretty good episode overall, 5/5.
