| This episode felt short despite not having unnecessary scenes, this episode suffers from a case of information overload. From Speciesism, Language barriers, Fragile alliances, Current state of war, Material Laws, (Food sourcing, production and preparation), and even squeezed in shipping tendencies plus a little bit of Salt Bae. While some anime suffer from spending 80% of an episode Yelling. |

| I didn’t expect to like this anime so much, it’s great!!!!! I really like Souma, he’s definitely playing the personable ruler well & I love seeing how he’s dealing with their food shortage problem. And he was right, the advisor is definitely giving valuable advice & he made the right decision to keep him by his side. Liscia’s reactions are so funny lolollll & her maid is sucha shipper what a phat mooooooood LOL Also wtf was Souma sewing???????? Was it a plushie toy for Tomoe I didn’t get a good look. Looked weird LOL I wonder what’s the next food item!!!!!!!! |

| From a talent show last ep to a cooking showcase this ep, the show is rather diverse with its content. Not sure if the info this ep is even relevant, but he has to solve the food shortage in some way, I guess. Tomoe has indeed got quite the talent. I'm interested to see how they use her ability moving forward. After 4 eps tho, I think they might need to bump up the intensity, or they may lose my attention otherwise. |

| Another great episode. Loved every minute of it! One of the Major things I do like about this anime is that the People who work for him are not out to get him like in other Isekai. Marx is a prime example because he has the face of a schemer but he actually gave some very good advice to Souma in regards to the handling of Tomoe. |

| I can stomach octopi or tree roots if I want to but no way in hell would I ever ingest locusts or anything resembling them... unless the whole thing is made of chocolate. I'm enjoying this anime more than I expected from the first episode. I like cliffhangers but one thing I don't like about this show is how abruptly it ends each episode. |
| Going into it, it seemed a bit odd to be broadcasting a food show to your starving populace... but okay "introduce them to new foods and ways of cooking them so that they won't be grossed out when it does show up" okay makes sense... But I'm kind of bothered that talks-to-animals girl isn't a vegetarian, she has a nice conversation with an anime and then watches it be butchered and then eats it? Maybe she can't talk to sea life or insects... |

| Quite a funny episode. They cooked that octopus so well I practically started salivating. I wonder what will be the repercussions of Tomoe being able to speak with demons. Like a Chekhov's gun this is certainly going to be used later. I hope Tomoe gets out of her shell soon :) |

| The whole miso/soybean on a pedestal thing is pretty much a generic isekai trope at this point. And yeah -that wolf girl eating animals is crazy AF; presumably the octopus would have been terrified and (depending on how her powers work) screaming/begging for it's life. Octopuses are seemingly one of the more intelligent creatures around, that personally puts me off eating them but since the Japanese eat cetaceans as well -it may just not be something that they care or think about. |

| Well from the previous episode's cliffhanger we finally knew Tomoe can talk to demons Nah she ain't about to become a consort to Souma even Liscia was shocked to consider it and I'm going to ignore that, That was cute tho Liscia has a little sister well I don't mind that in fact I find that so cute Dudes we got the sixth season of Shokugeki no Souma yeah no shit even the name connects and mf did the salt bae he did it he did the thing, Only thing that you would find from Poncho is mastering tastes but I guess the dude already did, And another cliffhanger god I'm actually thankful I didn't watch this when it was airing. |

Souma had - aren't too common in my part of world, I think.. They are accessible.. But some sauces are more popular.. Well.. What matters.. Is that people will have access to more food, as they're solving that.. |

| While I do understand the advantages of showing people more options for food, I don't think cooking them like that is very efficient. I mean... if people are struggling already to afford food, how are they going to afford to use oil to deep fry stuff and use bread to make bread crumbs to cover the food like that? In extreme poverty, people barely use any oil and condiments in their food. |
