the dog is not a good swimmer, so he just goes there to troll everyone.

I only now realized, Tohru looks cute in pink swimsuit. ^^

Yuki really likes Tohru, he easily got slightly upset when Kyo come near.

It's so romantic when the cat listens. :)

Kyo has matured a lot emotionally, as a character.

An utterly amazing episode. Long time I was not this moved by an episode. Felt as powerful as the original series. Yuki’s world is just so well portrayed, and the overall feeling is so well transferred. A masterpiece for me, always <3

Celebrating the news of Hiro's sibling using watermelons to split them was hilarious hahaha even the flashback with Tooru's mom. I'm happy about Yuki's development as a character in this episode. That meeting with Akito is kinda creepy, I wonder what happened. Also, I loved the last scene at the beach. 4/5

I really gotta say, the voice actor of Yuki absolutely nailed it near the end of the episode. Though i still hated the Tohru x Yuki moment

I’m still wondering if Shigure is scheming or did I miss something?

And Akito is kinda creepy. Wonder how she became the head of Soma. Hopefully they will show that this season.

The part when Momiji mentioned that he wanted to go back and the look on his face made my heart clenched. Damn Akito! The meteor shower scene is pretty amazing!

I love how all of the characters in this series are so different yet similar

they're all very human in a good way and tohru is actually relevant in the series unlike someone (yui from diabolik lovers)

also, the ending was very verryy beautiful

this series is so underrated it should be known more ❤️❤️

Every time I think FB is going to ease up, it finds a new angle to sucker punch me with all of the right feelings. The more I catch glimpses of Akito's cruelty, the more I wonder what kind of suffering he's gone through to become so warped.

That scene with Yuki & Tohru in the night sky was stunningly surreal. Seeing how Tohru continues to heal Yuki & Kyo's scars continues to resonate & move me.

Edit: Revisiting this episode nearly two years later, I can better appreciate that final scene and what moving forward means for Yuki.

It was a fresh of breath air to see yuki open up like. Damn it went from having fun to being sentimental.

Behold of my awesomeness~

I loved this ep, but am kinda confused because of the ending scene. I read the manga 5 years ago, so maybe I just remember it wrong, or it's the first time I'm really investing in Yuki (as I always really shipped KyouXTohru). Or maybe Yuki is just a more relatable character now that I'm older.
So to the manga readers, what do you think?

I think everybody was scared of fruits growing inside them if they accidentally ate the seeds =D. It was a nice moment between kyo and tooru. what does akito have on all these people? Shigure better be double-crossing! I mean Yuki likes her but I don't know I personally ship kyo x tooru. come to think of it, why wasn't kagura here

Nice moment there between Tohru and Kyo and also a very emotional moment at the end between Tohru and Yuki. I'm even more curious now to what the curse is that makes every family member tolerate and accept delusional Akito's ridiculous behaviour and actions.

damn, the minute akito entered the picture the whole theme had entirely changed.

the last scene was beautiful and nice, but i felt it was leak of real story on yuki, like he told her entire story without telling the plot lol.

I THOUGHT IT WAS KYO'S HAT!!! AHHHHHHH, WHY CAN'T I REMEMBER?!!?

Still, I'm super happy because it's as if I'm watching this for the first time, which I really wanted to do again after I finished reading the manga back in 2016 (6 YEARS AGO?? I can see why I can't remember anything!!). I'm grateful for my lack of memory, haha!

Well, I affirm for the thousandth time that Kyou is my favorite, although I must admit that Yuki's Seiyuu did an excellent job

I don't know what Akito said to Yuki but the first thing that came to mind after seeing what Yuki was saying and crying, I think he threatened Yuki telling him about harming Tooru for sure, if he didn't say anything I wrote this for nothing xd

This episode left me in tears, especially with Yuki's heartfelt confession to Tohru. His analogy of comparing her to the sky—so vast and ever-present yet painfully out of reach due to his curse—was beautifully tragic. 😭 Yuki's struggle with his feelings and the curse's limitations has never been more heart-rending. At this point, my disdain for Akito has reached new heights; his manipulative and cruel nature is absolutely infuriating! 🤬 I'm eagerly waiting for the day he faces the consequences of his actions, hopefully with a hefty dose of karma. 😠

The conflict within me deepens with each episode, particularly after seeing Kyo's growth and how intuitively he understands Tohru. It's evident he's changed a lot, arguably benefiting from his outcast status within the Soma family, which has, paradoxically, allowed him closer access to Tohru. This situation seems somewhat unfair, especially when comparing it to Yuki's constrained interactions due to Akito's oppressive shadow. Yet, my heart still yearns for Yuki and Tohru to find a way to be together.

The mystery surrounding Kureno and his isolation by Akito, coupled with the absence of any mention of Rin, only adds layers to the already complex narrative. Shigure's enigmatic agenda is increasingly intriguing, particularly following the shocking developments with Rin. Her bold approach towards Shigure, post-breakup with Haru, left me speechless.

Despite the heavy atmosphere, Momiji's boundless optimism and joy are a beacon of light. His ability to remain cheerful, even in the face of Akito's disdain, is truly admirable. I wish Yuki could borrow some of Momiji's light-heartedness to ease his burdens. 🥲❤️

Navigating through the tangled emotions and unfolding mysteries of this series is an emotional rollercoaster. Yet, it's the depth of these characters and their intertwined destinies that make every episode so compelling.💖

Akito's possessive nature and abuse of the zodiac makes her a disgusting character, but a good villain.

Yuki's appreciation of Tohru! 🥺

This has got to be one of the best episodes this season, Yuki really went through a lot of things didn’t he? He sees Tohru smiling once Kyo approaches her and as soon as he has a walk he unfortunately walks into the very person that tormented him throughout his childhood: Akito. Speaking of which she’s now made her presence known at the beach house, the Sohmas are certainly in for a world of misery now that she’s here to spoil things. What right does she have to say that the others are “deluded”? What is that psycho on about? She certainly mistreats Kureno, he doesn’t say a word when Hatori and Shigure talk to Akito, she doesn’t like him being far away from her and now we know WHY many of the things he said to Arisa were all luxuries. It all comes back to Akito being the cause. That and she probably doesn’t trust him to leave her sight, I’m assuming he knows more than we are lead to be believed.

There’s so much unsettling things about her that I can’t begin to fathom. I really hope the other Sohmas are okay. Anyways onto slightly less sinister things here, Tohru you don’t need to feel ashamed about your mum, it’s just Hiro being noisy is all. It’s a good thing Kyo was there to comfort her, that scene was very nice I feel. He really has calmed down so much since season 1, he really does care for her. It’s sweet. I love how Tohru actually does reassure him just to be himself when he’s talking about his folks.

That final scene at the end was beautiful I mean Yuki was literally pouring his heart and soul to Tohru on the beach. The guy was just hurting so bad that I just wanna go up to him and say: “Everything’s gonna be alright.” The moment was so powerful that not even the ending theme kicked in. It was just the credits which I loved.

Shigure again is a puzzle, just what is he planning? What? By the way these next episodes are gonna be now, I feel like I’m gonna find out sooner or later. Otherwise this was a powerful episode for me. Brilliant stuff.
