“We are the sum of our memories. Erasing the memories edged in oneself is the same as losing oneself.” – Ergo Proxy
“Do you have any idea how terrible the things you did really mean? Do you understand what it means to destroy a human being’s sense of good and evil? Can you even begin to comprehend what happens when you awaken the monster inside each us? People should know in their hearts that food tastes good. They should always look forward to having picnics and wonderful places on their weekends. They should think that beer tastes good after a hard day’s work. People should know how they should feel, that they’re supposed to grieve, from the bottom of their hearts when they have to bury their own child.” – Wolfgang Grimmer
“No matter where you go, everyone’s connected.” – Lain Iwakura
“You can change fate as long as you believe you can.” – Rika Furude
“Whether I live or die makes no great difference. In truth, death may be the only absolute freedom there is.” – Kaworu Nagisa
“Oh pitiful shadow lost in the darkness, Bringing torment and pain to others. Oh damned soul, wallowing in your sin…. Perhaps… it is time to die.” – Ai Enma
“A mulberry is a tree, Kuwabara is a man, and I'll prove it! We all have to die when our time comes, but if we do our duty we don't got regrets! So taste a little piece of my sword Toguro!” – Kazuma Kuwabara
“When you’re in the darkness, you only sink deeper into it. Keep the light shining.” – Kenzo Tenma
“I always thought that life was about standing your ground, no matter how strong the current was. But going with the flow isn’t so bad after all. As long as it takes you forward.” – Nana Osaki
“Hey Nana, do you remember the first time we met? I believe in things like fate.
So I think it was fate.”-Nana Komatsu(Hachi)
“Maybe the future is bad. But there’s a future beyond that, right?” – Yuno Gasai
”because ten billion years time is so fragile, so ephemeral... it arouses a bittersweet, almost heartbreaking fondness” -Now and Then,Here and There
“Being alone is best. I mean, it's true, isn't it? In the end you'll be absolutely alone; therefore, being alone is natural. If you accept that, nothing bad can happen. That's why I shut myself away in my six-mat one-room apartment.” - Tatsuhiko Takimoto, NHK
"In the name of the moon, I'll punish you!"- Usagi Tsukino, Sailor Moon
“Your happiness is your own business. It's a promise you make to yourself. It is a reward you give yourself for accomplishing what you set out to do, for achieving what you strive for. But if you fail to reward yourself for what you have accomplished, then you are essentially breaking a promise to yourself. It's like a breach of contract, compensation must always be made. You must pay all of the debts that you made, even to yourself.” – Yuuko Ichihara, xxxHolic
"Hey Hachi, no matter how much or how often people hurt each other, loving someone is never a waste. That love letter you left for me back then, I still cherish it."-Nana Osaki
about me🤍🤍🤍
🤍Hello! I have been watching anime since 2011. My favorite genres are psychological, drama, mystery, horror, romance, and slice of life! I rank my anime based on enjoyment and from a review standpoint about what might have been better. I am fair with my rankings I feel, I try not to be too hard on shows I always consider what was done well.
I also love anime with symbolism and a deep understanding of certain concepts, I love researching and doing deep dives for psychological shows like for example Serial Experiments Lain, Ergo Proxy, Ghost in the Shell, or Angel's Egg. I love complex shows that really make me think!!

Absolutely; I am finishing 2024 with a huge stomach ache, and a newfound allergy to Metamizole I didn´t know I even had hahaha. I hope 2025 treats us a bit better.
Darker Than Black is an anime that caught my attention, what is it about? I have seen some clips here and there, but nothing too specific.
So it is ecchi, I thought it was only incestuous. I have seen Vampire Knight in so many lists of anime that didn´t age well hahaha; I don´t judge by any means, I also watched anime that wasn´t suitable for my age when I was younger.
I have some that I will definitely watch, but so far the ones that I am very interested in are My Happy Marriage S2, the new season of Dr. Stone, and Sakamoto Days.
Thanks a lot, I also want to wish you a Merry Christmas, although a belated one, and a Happy New Year; I hope 2025 is a good year for you C:
I don't rate anime. It's true. That's because Who has time for all those ratings when there's a whole bunch of anime out there waiting to be devoured?lol
I'm here for the thrill of mystery, the feels of Slice of life, and the jaw-dropping waifu moments. It's all about immersing in the stories of the anime , relating myself with the characters enjoying every second of anime without getting bogged down by ratings and reviews. I don't need a number to validate my anime love, anyway.
I was simply blown away by pluto, I loved it as a mystery fan and also as a fan of human relationships and connections.
Any particular anime you are looking forward to or interested in for Winter 2025?
As a neet, my daily grind is all about mastering the art of relaxation, indulge in my many hobbies, keeping myself fit by regularly playing pick up games of basketball and soccer and cycling, watching various sports, and binge-watching anime without any work and relationship stress. But life stress me out anyway while I continue living the neet lifestyle!
Same for you; excuse my French, but this year has been quite a bitch. This is the last time I enter a new year saying this will be my year.
I really hope that Tite Kubo launches the manga sequel; he released a one-shot sequel that raised too many questions and then released the design of the first generation of Captains that appear in TYBW Part 1 that didn´t happen in the manga. Bleach is truly a masterpiece, I love how much love it has received from Pierrot.
Really? Aside from Bleach what other anime from those times have you been watching? I noticed Vampire Knight and I have read quite some comments and watched some videos from people saying that it was highly inappropriate and they watched it as minors.
Thanks, I want to have some hopes; the latest anime was quite accurate to the manga and lowkey enjoyable, so my hopes increased a bit.
I am honestly hanging on a thread hahaha; all jokes aside, I am sorry to hear you are also having a hard year. There is just one more month left and that´s all, so hang on there :)
Maybe one day I will watch Bleach from the beginning because it is one of the few franchises with an exceptional soundtrack. Opening songs 1, 3, 6, 11, 12, 13, and 15 are splendid.
I never watched Ranma 1/2 when growing up, but as an adult, I caught some episodes on TV and I enjoyed them quite a lot. I am currently watching the remake and it has been a pleasant surprise.
It's sad to hear you didn't like it but that´s ok, we don´t have to share the same opinions. I personally love how crazy and unexpected it can be.
For this season I consider the best ones:
-Orb.
-Ranma 1/2.
-Bleach TYBW Part 3.
-How I Attended an All-Guy's Mixer.
In the category of anime that I am not enjoying is A Terrified Teacher at Ghoul School. The manga is one of my all-time favorites, but the anime is a mess and I hate it; I am too stubborn to drop it and I am hoping that things can improve a bit.
This year hasn´t been one of my healthiest ones, but I am still alive so I guess that is something hahaha.
So far, I am enjoying a lot the third part of Bleach TYBW, Dandadan, the remake of Ranma 1/2, and Orb. This season has a lot of great anime, unlike the previous one which I honestly feel was way too weak.
How about you?
Nice to meet you! I also like lain and Ergo Proxy. Yeah, watch Lotgh it's great. I noticed nana on your favorites. Have you watched Revolutionary Girl Utena? I'm sure you'll enjoy it, definitely check it out!
