| Eh, it wasn't bad, but the characters are a bit too bland so far. I had this nagging feeling during the first half that I was watching a pale imitation of K-On; the bike selection sequence reminded me of Yui choosing her guitar minus most of the liveliness and fun. Things got better when the actual cycling began and the two other girls were introduced, though, so I'll stick around for now. |
| I personally loathe how Ami still acts like a freshman in a high school anime even though all the main characters are in college. Everyone else in this show seems fine. Other than that, the only other thing that really bothered me was how I couldn't tell if Ami had previously known how to ride a bike before. It kind of builds up all of a sudden where she wants to try cycling, but she knew how to ride a bike so easily? Yet the way she describes riding the bike + the way she looks at that folding bike at the start makes it feel like it's still her first time.. I don't know anymore. |

| Oh man, will this be like the one with the motorcycle girls? Could I sit through that again? Well, it's off to a pretty okay start, it was pretty cute and entertaining, and while there seems to be a whole lot of similarities to Bakuon, there also seems to be a lot of differences, so I think I can last, at least for a bit, but I'll have to see how this turns out later. |

I got the 6 miles when in your original post you said "an[sic] suddenly ride like 10+ km at a speed that looks to be 20+ km/hr on a bike with a foot diameter wheel." Ten kilometers is 6.2 miles. ;) (I also run races up to marathons, not very fast btw). I think Ami could handle 20+kmh (~12 MPH) for short distances. I bet Aoi had to slow down quite often. |

| great first ep definitely like bakuon but i feel like ima enjoy this one even more than bakuon though bakuon is still an amazing series and all just something about this series that just grabs my attention alot more than bakuon did so am really looking forward to more of this series |

| They're only in college cause you need to be 20+ to ride in races for Audax Japan which they'll do later. Nice start, way more down to earth than bakuon. Eating and sleeping is important or you'll get a hunger knock XD Love at first sight <3  |

| I think I will enjoy this because I did a lot of cycling last year in Nihon! And they chose the cycling road at the Sakai river leading to Enoshima I think. I was there, too. ^^ So the animators also enjoyed the landscape there like I did. Feels nice, feels a little bit like I am back there riding my bike. Damn, now I want to go back there … Great OP and ED, too! |
| A little late, but ... I made it! I rode to the Iida Dairy Farm (Iiboku), following the route Ami and Aoi rode in episode 1. Missed the turn-off of the Sakai River Cycling Road, but backtracked and found it. BEST ice cream I've ever had. (please excuse my ugly mug in the picture, but it serves as proof that I Was There)  |

| Nice to see Mio got into college and found another Yui to hang out with. And for some reason she looks a lot younger, as if these girls were in middle school. That twintailed blonde loli doesn't help either. I had to rewind and see if they really were in college and not attending a cram school or something. There were also these two girls, who look a lot like Chihaya and Haruka from The Idolm@ster. Overall, aside from the surprisingly good directing, the episode pretty uninteresting thanks to the bland characters. |

| Re-watch: The way Ami gets into cycling seems different from the usual setup because nobody is forcing her/asking her to get into it, she just sees a girl looking like she's having fun riding a 'cute' bike, and she just wants to recreate that experience for herself, and feel that feeling. And she even buys a 'cute' bike that looks similar even if it isn't the greatest (and because it's cheap). That mimicry is behind all of what she does is way too relatable, and realistic. |

| Start that is striking for the comedy that comes from the protagonist. On the graphics side we are in really bad shape, I'm not talking about the drawing style, you can like them or not, but the CG is really bad and the animations are only sufficient, while the quality of the drawings is on the razor's edge, but the great sympathy given by the character of Ami saves shack and puppets. The opening and the ending are very catchy as far as I'm concerned, so they are already promoted right now. |

| Re-watching this. I immediately fell in love with this show and its atmosphere when I saw it for the first time. Cycling (or biking in my case) is one of my favorite hobbies. Nice OP and ED. I like the characters and their chemistry. Ami's personality and her love towards cycling has made her one of my favorite anime characters of all time. Aww, cute smile. Lol at this scene and those reactions. Ami was so excited about her new bike. xD By the way, Ponta-kun is a funny name. It's good to see how much she's enjoying her new hobby. She looks so happy. ^^ Oh no. She overworked herself. Aoi was absolutely right when she pointed out the importance of rest and breakfast. Haha. That reaction when Ami ate that energy supplement. |
