| I was actually a bit worried since I saw the first poster for the anime because it looks... Idk, not as good as the manga let's say. There is a comment there on Youtube that says that this animation was apparently chosen just for the trailer, but I don't know if that's legit or not. If this is the "animation" that we're getting, I'd be extremely disappointed. I really don't understand what's the point of this kind of "animation". Call it a visual novel if you want, not an anime :P Anyway, I hope this is just for the trailer and we're getting a decent animation for the show. Don't waste TsudaKen's voice on cheap animation, pretty please! |

| In Back Street Girls the same style actually added to the comedic effect quite a lot and this adaptation is handled mostly by the same people it seems. I think things will actually work out really fine. |

| yeah i agree, every time i watch the trailer i realise the animation quality, the animation isn't really smooth, im a little disappointed that it seems they didn't animate tatsu making the bento box. the art style also isn't great. |
| If the animation would even be smooth, I could somehow accept the fact they have all but colored digitally the manga and made some of their mouths 'move', but no. Even manga meps on youtube look better than this one and this 'anime' has a budget! Real money was used to it... I mean, it's possible to make even still images look like those would move even slightly if one knows HOW. It isn't that hard if you put time and effort into it... Also, cutting from one frame to another CAN be done smoothly with still images if wanted...instead of just showing the color spread of manga...seriously, even though they chose this approach upon the animation, it doesn't mean they can be lazy about it. Now it feels like they just want quick cash from the anime... The voice acting might help a bit, but if the animation will indeed be like someone had merely digitally colored the manga and added pictures one after another without any clear vision or talent, it'll lower the anime's value. (I mean, even though the jokes would be the main point, why we have manga then? You can read the jokes from there already and just imagine the pictures in color if there isn't colorzed version of it...) |
