| The official website of the Platinum End television anime revealed its main cast on Wednesday. The anime is set to premiere on TBS and other channels in October 2021. Mirai Kakehashi: Miyu Irino (Code Geass: Boukoku no Akito)  Nasse: Yui Ogura (Goblin Slayer)  Hideya Takahashi (JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken Part 5: Ougon no Kaze, Keijo!!!!!!!!) is helming the anime at Signal.MD. Shinichi Inotsume (Gangsta.) is handling the series composition and Kouji Oodate (No Game No Life) is drawing the character designs. The anime is based on Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata's psychological drama manga, which began in Jump SQ. in November 2015 and ended on January 4. | nasse looks good, not as detailed as in the manga but still good. I dropped the manga but I will watch the anime for a weekly dose of comedy |

| Interesting to hear about this adaptation, I had missed the previous news release. Unfortunately, the manga does not seem to have been well-received, but I will still look forward to it. The guy from Ano Hana as MC will bring back me bad memories of an always whining character. Good choice for a guy who tries to kill himself I guess. |

Light is evil but Mirai is good man. This contrast is similar to Riku and Sora. Thought the exact same thing! | I haven't heard much about Yui Ogura in a while, also she's voicing another angel, which I hope is a good character because Hiyori left a hell of a bad taste in my mouth. It's making me want to watch. |

| I have to admit. When I saw Miyu-Miyu's name on the news page yesterday (when it was first posted), I got excited even before seeing the title for the anime he's going to voice for. It makes me want to watch the anime (since I have ZERO knowledge on the series). |

| Very excited for Miyu voicing a MC in an Anime series (it's been way too long). Even though the original work doesn't seem to be as well received as Death Note or Bakuman, I'm going to give this a shot. I've started reading the Manga since I heard about this news. Tbh, I wished the MC would be a bit more dark or twisted, we rarely get Miyu voicing a character like that and he can certainly do them (Akito, Vanitas, Nr.96) Meusnier said: Interesting to hear about this adaptation, I had missed the previous news release.
