| Excellent episode. Good bit of world building and some side characters development. Understandable that Melty got rejected, Naofumi sees the whole royalty as a giant cesspool and especially those blood related to the King and Malty. Equipment buying/testing was a nice short scene. Didn't like the part where Filo got jealous, could have worked better if the reasons were changed from 'lovey-dovey/kiss' to just Raphtalia 'secretly seeking attention'. Finally, a hero who is remorseful for his own actions, thank you Sword hero. However Bow hero is now coming across as a self righteous hypocrite, he had it coming asking for rewards while trying to RP as robin hood. He just might be an bigger asshole than Spear hero (who really is just a dumbass). Finally the 3rd wave is here and seems like another new character is about to make her appearance. For those complaining about Raphtalia being a child mentally. How exactly do we quantify her mental age or even anyone's mental age. In reality we use terms like age of consent/adulthood, legal age, etc which are based on I believe perceived maturity of a individual psychology/physiology with assistance from our education system and such. A hypothetical scenario - It is now the end of the series and Raphtalia still shows that her understanding is that kiss = pregnancy, would that quantify her still as a child mentally or simply because she does not have the luxury of the appropriate education? To me she has gone through quite a few ordeals and have certainly grown rapidly in her mental faculty, she is capable of making her own decisions, understands consequences and have shown herself to be an empathetic individual. Are these not the traits of adulthood? If not then how exactly do we quantify it, perhaps via a page on wikipedia under the Age: X column then? Hmm. |

| Oh my, how come Melty got treated that by Naofumi? Her family was so mind to him, lol. But sarcasm aside, I'm not surprised Naofumi acted so unkind and reserved. He did not get anything good from the ruler's family, so it's a healthy symptom to rejecting anything from them. It's funny how such a country with matriarchal-based laws seems to be ruled in fact by men and by those who were presented as those who as officially lower status than women. I wouldn't say it's unofficial patriarchal system, but neither it is matriarchal one as well. I liked the moment when Naofumi proved Bow and Shield Hero that their "heroics" (at least in their minds) acts led to calamity in regions they operated at. Filo was cute as always, by the way. |

| And as expected, the idiot of the Bow is the one who screwed it this time. Not really a fan of this story progression but at least Ren showed some concerned about his imprudent actions... something is something, I guess. On the other hand, I'm glad Naofumi formed a provisional party for the upcoming wave. I just hope they can be of help despite them having such low levels. Decent episode overall. Better than the previous one. P.S.: Not gonna lie... the queen is kinda hot, by the way. It's a shame she has a corrupt piece of shit as a husband. |

| Well as expected Melty got rejected. As soon as Naofumi heard she's the princess it was over. So these knights want to fight together with Naofumi because they also came from Lute. Can somebody punch this idiot of a king in his face? No Naofumi isn't even allowed to do a class upgrade for Raphtalia or Filo? Is the king aware that he just fucks himself with that? Can''t believe how dumb someone can be. At least Naofumi got ne weapons for Raphtalia and Filo. I really hope that's enough for the next wave. Was interesting to hear that Naofumi could also do these class upgrades in other countries. But it's way to far. 1 month over land and 2 weeks with the ship isn't a possibility. But I guess if they survive the next wave it could be an option. Such a relief when Naofumi could clear up the things Ren and Itsuki messed up. But Itsuki is on the same level as Motoyasu, just an idiot. Ren seemed to realize that he made a big mistake. I wonder if Melty is able to do what her mother wants. I mean both of them are so different compared to the king and Malty. Now the time has come for the second wave and at the end we saw that woman from the OP. Endboss or what? |

| things are definitely getting kicked into action now, wave comes in 24 hours. Melty and her mother??? Do seem to have genuinely good intentions with Naofumi, it's just first you gotta gain his trust, and since there royalty thats gonna be a tough one. Slave merchant, depending on how you look at it, is a pretty chill guy. He knows how to treat his "allies" well with free info and discounts, does act inconspicuous, but at the end of the day you get what you want. Not even surprised that a law was put in to stop Naofumi getting class upgrades, probably Malty's doing and again, is she genuinely trying to get the kingdom destroyed? Like is no one in the kingdom gonna acknowledge the fact that she is practically soft locking Naofumi to saving their sorry asses? Naofumi using that absolute power move with getting his new allies to gather money for better supplies for themselves unknowingly, nice to see him accepting new allies and thinking ahead, again that move was completely alpha. I mean to put it bluntly, Ren is probably the closest to an "ideal" hero for this world. He isn't perfect with the dragon corpse and that, but he can ration out well, he didn't act stuck up when Naofumi called him out, he acts like and actual decent individual. Itsuki honestly, has his head stuck up in the clouds, and dosen't think about the after effects of his "good" actions, just the immediate effect. That puppet that holds a spear has visible strings on his limbs being held by Malty. Naofumi has this business deal with him, if you ask him for help, he'd expect money or something worth it, he dosen't do things for free and only does things that benefit him or his party. |

| Okay. Its looks like Nao won't be trusting to Melty for a while, and forget about it after the next wave. Because Firo just took it massively. Its okay, then, take your time, yuusha-sama. The king really garbage. They even prevented shield hero to upgraded themself. I wonder where was the chief of the church? And its looks like the queen herself had a trouble against the king. Fuckin ashame! Thats why she couldn't do anything against the discrimination and only acted as an observer. So, i am really curious about Melty request. It must be related to the Queen's release, or something like that, and yuusha-sama will decline that in order to prevented any same betrayal. Oh well, okay, if its took that route. Hah! And i don't wanna mention that successfull slaver merchant, really. But, when looking into Firo upgrading armor, and Raph which was getting better, its just fine. Ah, that night conversation, ofc it won't go anyway. Because of why? They denied that situations very hard. Thank you very much, Firo. Anyway, look how the other heroes faces where they really priceless listened to our shield hero speech. That Bow Hero still stubborn with his beliefs. I wonder what karma he got after the time being? And congratulations for that new party member! Its really a nice addition against what will happened next. So, yeah, lets go! |

| Sword and Bow heroes act cool, but they actually have no idea what they're doing. Was great how Nafumi told them off, I was surprised the sword hero was more eager to admit his mistakes though. |

| Ren and Itsuki aren't as delusional as Motoyasu in comparison, but they were delusional in how they acted without even caring or planning ahead for potential consequences of their actions. The other Heroes really aren't the smartest in the world to be handling decision making like that, and Naofumi's cleaning their messes up. If I was him, I wouldn't even bother with helping the Kingdom after all the disrespect and they don't even give upgrades that he would use to HELP FIGHT waves that they are suffering from more than him. You don't even let the man have the most powerful tools to help keep your nation alive, and reducing the chances of it being okay with lesser help if the other three aren't enough. Good job corrupt kingdom that Melty and the mother is looking to clear off from sounds of things. |

| Another great episode. Filo interrupted Raphtalia's serious conversation like that lol, she must be really mad at Filo xD. Waves return in next episode. I'm guessing this wave should be harder to overcome. The queen is nice, I like her. But I don't get how a woman like her ended up marrying a piece of shit like king. |

| A bunch of soldiers and two mages join the party, but they don't look like the type of characters that will be permanent additions. It's a good demonstration of his reputation being increasingly represented by his actions, rather than accusations. That said, Naofumi is trying his hardest to make everyone hate him by acting like a dickhead, which I see as counterproductive. |
