DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Welp I was mistaken about the first half, it's unprotected sex instead of masturbation, dude's got it coming given his other unhealthy habits And again, the body recovers with outside help in the form of antibiotics this time. This is the point where Code Black went from just good to amazing for me, it really drove the point of "work until you die" mentality or "Black companies" |
| Excellent episode 5/5 A lot of waifus died in this episode. The white blood cells were really getting stomped and humiliated by the gonococcus. Some of the scenes almost looked like a familiar anime nsfw. The white blood cells gathering to listen to their commander on the screen reminded me of Nier Automata. |

WBCs is really one of the best cells of our body, in both series they worked real hard and fighting these kinds of monster cells, thank you waifu WBCs, you will be remembered. This one darn human is so careless, me myself don't really have a healthy lifestyle but this is way worse hahaha. I thought I was bad enough. |

| Ah, yeah, how to forget that time Hataraku Saibou Black became a tentacle rape hentai. Poor White Blood Cells, they fought bravely, but the gonococci were too strong. Seeing so many waifus die in such horrible way was super depressing, even if the day was saved at the end. The sight of the WBC captain's corpse during the pus viking funeral in particular hit hard, even if I already knew what would happen (even more painful when you know she was the mentor of our main WBC). On the bright side, our Red Blood Cell boy is having some nice development, now taking his job and duty more seriously and not letting both the threats that invade the body nor his fear stopping him from commiting the role he was born to fulfill. The cheerful ending song is such a contrast with the content of the actual episodes is not even funny. |

| RIP the Captain, it's always sad to see a fine woman die. The battle was brutal but they managed somehow with the help of penicillin. This episode made me tear up a bit for the Hakkekkyuu. They work so much and yet no one behaves well with them and that damn T cell had the nerve to call them pathetic. He's already pissing me off. |

I had not thought that there are bacteria with a higher reproduction rate than the phagocytoses of leukocytes, I wonder what other bacteria have that property Hopefully whoever saw this chapter is more careful with sexually transmitted diseases, always use protection! |

| Yeah, that's a brutal battle. The fight that designed to be a lost, naturally. Gonococci proved to be insanely powerful. The enormous army of Neutrophils cannot match their proliferation capabilities. The endowed wbcs were drowned a lot into a pus to depicted how unfair their battle. The emergency situations over Gonococci invasion spreaded. Poor that Platelet-chan, must be facing against those bad words from her chibi leader. The environment was so bad that make every cells caught on a good stress. However, there was no time to giving up. The eyeglasses rbc really changed much with all of his speech. His good attitude proved resulting a something. Because somehow, a good medicine arrived in a good time. Once again, the lowkey body succeeded to be survive, at least for now. Rip purple hair captain, and lets see how fuck up those bunch of T-killer cells that looks swallowed into the darkness called: Delirium.... |

| A pretty grim scene to start the ep with but one that showed well how serious this situation is. While the frustration of the RB cells is understandable the losses the White Blood cells have taken are also heavy as well. A fact seen when Red Blood cell stumbles across the pile of bodies on their run. The Gonococci though really look like demented American football players. Still Red Blood cells speech while impressive showed just how much he had matured as a result of his experiences so far. Though the crisis was dealt with the cost in lives sure was steep. RIP Captain you fought with courage and honor to the very end. Looks like the wake of this battle that the T cells are making their grand entrance. Overall an interesting ep that while more action packed than most also did well to show the kind of relationship that existed between the Red and White Blood cells. |

| This episode was very intense! This Gonococci is so strong that even White Cells have such a hard time defeating this disgusting bacteria. In the end, they did a great job protecting the body. I'm not very found of tentacles in animes. It gives a bad vibe. :/ Oh no... all I can think about after watching the preview for the next episode is Cancer ;~; Let's see how it goes. |

| The Gonococci are truly fearsome...and gonorrhoea is a disease that'd NOT fare well in our bodies. The WBCs are in for a tough battle against the insanely strong Gonococci, resulted from an STD. Being able to multiply, the bacteria is as infectious as from the inside, and it takes penicillin to drive them back. A brutal battle that is won by help and covering each other, the sacrifices will not be in vain. Now I need to take care of my body a lot. |

| That was one bloody battle, STD's are no joke. I get why they wanted to do these episodes back 2 back, this was a good showcase of what happens to your body when your resistance is low and having unprotected sex. Rip to all the white blood cells that perished in that battle! Also me after every episode of Cells at Work, even more so after Code Black... |

| I have a really bad feeling about the Killer T cells here. I'm worried they won't sing the iconic song. I didn't know gonorrhoea could be weakened by a simple antibiotic. That man was lucky. If it was AIDS, this anime would have ended! This reminded me of how some people blame doctors for killing their loved ones. |
| While last episode is pretty hilarious, this episode is pretty serious. There're lots of incurable diseases that the body itself can't handle. The cells inside those body must be fighting even harsher battle. |

| this anime has turned into a pretty educational anime.. the bad habits that follow you throughout your life if you're a smoker, alcohol, and having unprotected sex and how it negatively effects your body. Everything in your body is trying to desperately do it's best.. last episode was definitely hilarious. More so since the red blood cells are all men heh |

| The gonococci proved to be fearsome opponents for our WBC crew, even up to the point that the enemies were grabbing them in a way that was influenced by hentai. Thankfully, our host body was smart enough to use penicillin, which helped the WBC crew to turn the tide of battle into their favour, but it still came at the cost of their captain and their fellow comrades. =( Now we'll see how the Killer T Cells get on in the next episode. If their looks can look chad-like, then I expect their fighting skills to be just as strong, too. =P |

There is Cells at Work: Lady (written by the same author of the Cells at Work Black manga, funny enough) but it's much more lighthearted from what I've seen. I think the most serious health problem it's shown so far was an HPV scare. Recent chapters are about pregnancy. No English version yet, unfortunately! |
