| Interesting start. The artstyle is really good and the characters are pretty ok, except for the Dio and buff Joker lookalikes. I hope this show doesn't turn into bl beacuse it looks promising. |
| Other then Langa's mom (she doesn't have a name?), pretty much all the women are either portrayed or talked about as a man's object. Decades of skater culture they could've taken inspiration from and this is what they came up with? I'm giving this series a 2, it's that bad. |
| The first episode was really good in my opinion, very colorful and has potential! Langa made me curious about his story and the first episode also made me curious about how Reki' s and Langa's friendship will evoluate. |

| I don't know why but when I first heard of this anime a few months ago I wasn't really that excited and I felt like it was being overhyped but boy was I wrong. I was hooked the entire time. Both our main characters, Langa and Reki, are both so charming in their own way. Also Langa's skating skills? Dang!! |

| the animation is incredible so far, caught me off guard. the same can be said for the character designs, they're all so eye-catching! speaking of eye-catchers i loved the creativity with making them little short animations in a comic-like style, feels very unique (not sure if it is, but it's the first time I've seen it). both the op and the ed were amazing, too. this show's production is already giving so much. only one episode is too soon to judge the story but i truly hope it delivers and lives up to the technical aspects. although i can say I'm enjoying the characters a lot so far! also, the little animal companion (is it a fennec? chihuahua?) adds a nice little touch, i loved how expressive it was! hope we get to see even more of it |

| I loved this first episode so much! I went in with no expectations, and now I have high hopes. Everything looked great, sounded great, characters seem very interesting... Very energetic series. |

| Lol, the villain is literal screaming Dio!! And of course they have the same VA. Really entertaining stuff. Bones never disappoints. I also loved the music and the vibe of the whole episode. Nice start! |

| A skateboarding show from one of the best animation studios out there. That was really good. A perfect first episode. OST was good. The animation was amazing as we can expect from Bones. OP and ED were really good as well. I'm hyped. |

| An anime about skateboarding? Hell yeah, I was never interested in skateboarding not even when it was popular among kids and everyone had one but I just said let's try it and the first episoade was so good and interesting. I hope it will do good in the next episodes as well. |

| wow this show took me by surprise! I didnt expect much from it after seeing the PV but it was actually pretty entertaining. The characters are loveable and the snowboard-skating style is a great twist that totally hooked me. I can snowboard well but not not so much with skateboarding. Seeing Langa do that is so satisfying and kinda inspiring (makes me want to try it out too. I've never thought about treating skateboard like a snowboard before, that might make learning it easier). Langa's character is also very refreshing. I had expected him to be your typical cool and cold rival of the mc, but to think that Langa is the one who's new to the sport while in nearly all sports animes out there it's always the mc?? And he's actually kinda slow and dopey??? (and im saying this in the nicest way possible) Dammit this show had me. im hooked now. |
| It's like they took Fast and the Furious.. Replaced the cast with bishounen.. Replaced the muscle cars/hotrods and the element of street racing with skateboards and downhill skating.. And to top it off, thought.. Oh what the hell, let's make it even more sexist.. Well.. Let's just hope they kept the best part of the franchise in.. |
| The first episode was great! It was so vibrant and funky especially the opening and ending which are total bangers. Animation is solid. Characters are likable so far. Reki is a dork and I love him. Langa broke out of the emo prodigy role pretty quick and turned out to be a dork as well and I love him for that. My ship is docked and ready to sail. Comedy is good too. The shop owner and his dog were hilarious. 'Villains' are so over the top lol I'm loving the theatrics XD Ngl Langa's little stunt left me star struck as well (I totally feel you Reki, my boy) dunno much about skating so no idea if it's realistic or not but it looks awesome so I'm vibing hard. |
| Really good series so far! Can't wait for the next episode! It indeed has potential. The characters so far are likeable for the most part(and cute!!) Reki and Langa are indeed a ship. <3 (Reki's eyes lit up when he saw Langa in the air near the end!) Hoping this becomes one of the stand out series this season! |

| I am sold, this has the right level of over the top actions to not feel too boring or let the absurdity ruin the fun. Its cartoony in the same way initial D felt, which kind of what the show feels like the most to me tone wise and setting wise. |

| Ahh, this is giving me Air Gear vibes :) I'm usally not into sport anime (Air Gear is basically the only exception), but this looks fun. I totally get that some people are disappointed that the way the skating is portrayed is exremely unrealistic, but that's the only way I personally can enjoy sports anime tbh (Air Gear was about flying inline skates after all). Whoever designed Langa has to be locked away tho. His hair looks horrible when he's not skating :x |

| Now that’s how you do a first episode. That was so good!!!!! Especially visually. These characters made me smile & laugh. I’m also glad they didn’t go the easy way out with the tsundere archetype for Langa. How refreshing! |
