| It was decent. Kinda feels like a magical girl God Eater because of the way the CHARM's are structured. There isn't too much to say as everything was pretty straight forward, but I'm pretty sure if you changed Riri's hairstyle enough you can make a case for her and Yuyu being Madoka + Homura. xD I'll stick around to see where this goes. |

| That was pretty good, I can definitely see some trademark Shaft scenes here and there. Art and animation is beautiful. Riri is adorable as so the other characters but, holy hell that's a lot of difficult names to remember. CHARMS really reminds me of God Arcs from God Eater especially how it switches from melee weapon to a gun that's cool. Overall I think this gonna be a fun show maybe some emotional stuff here and there but, it will be fun. |

| Cute girls beating things up. I love the aesthetics of this show. But... I thought the pacing was awful? It just felt super rushed once the 'fight' started, with immediate scene changes. |
| Not used to praise shows for their fanservice, but damn, some high quality shots through the episode. Pretty good start, I need to see more about the characters and the story to properly judge, but I'm interested on what I watched. Gotta love that opening by Raise a Suilen as well, the ED was nice too. |

| This was fucking awesome!! Stunning animations with beautiful lighting effects. And all those pretty girls makes it even better . And no ugly anime males hurting my poor old eyes! I am so glad for that The Yuri vibes where stronger then I expected. All the girls are my lesbian angels and the love was in the air...YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES! And the Yuri symbol was everywhere .Shaft are sending a very clear message here! All the girls are gay get used to it  Kaede seems to be very impressed by Riri. And decides she wants her,,,YEEEEEEEEEEEES! | It was an OK first episode. Nothing really stands out for me, maybe except the OP. I didn't liked how they introduced a bunch of characters right off the bat. And the premise seems really generic. But yeah can't really judge it from the first episode. I hope it gets better from here on out. Those thigh shots were nice though ngl. |

| Shaft, you served a nice dishes to me. Yeah, another series that talked about a bunch of moe girls that battling monsters for the sake of the cursed world. The first episode and its just already full of my personal satisfaction, a bunch of cute girls, some of them were lolis! An 'interesting relations' among them, great amount of action packed, a likeable MC at my first glance, and interesting world building (especially with the promising variant of monsters that looks some kind of robots). Beside the plot and the main lore of the storyline still blurry to me (ofc you shit, its just one episode), even if its led with some clicheness, i don't mind that thing. For the sake of my pure mind, this is just a great series. Lets see the next one! |

| Fall season started pretty well with this. I don´t understand why so much hate on the score. Maybe they didn´t choose it on Fantasy Anime League, if not I don´t know why. Nice first episode, characters seem to be nice and animation is well-made. Also OP and ED are great songs. Hyping starts! |

| I think this was okay for the first ep. However I will agree with some comments saying this is kinda generic with the 'oh he/she saved my life, thus i shall be like him/her and coincidentally found myself with him/her at the same place' kind of thing if that makes sense? That aside, the animation and the style was clean af. Op ed were great too. But that 1 second ish extra thicc shot at the beginning was some gourmet stuff. Really looking forward. |

| I've checked it out only because it's from Shaft. Few minutes in: ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ. Lot of shots of thighs (in the first couple of minutes). Seems generic, might drop. | That was pretty boring for the most part, and I really dislike that feeling of already knowing characters I just met because of how cliche they are. Seriously what is it with that dark-haired cold girl being in every single show with an primarily female cast ?! At least Yuyu doesn't seem to be the worst I encountered for now, but still. Riri though, just annoys me. She couldn't be more stereotypical, she feels like a parody actually. It's gonna take her a while to grow on me, if she ever does. The third girl whose name I forgot also seems to be a character that'd get on my nerves. As for the others, well for now it's hard to know what to think of her, though I kinda like the girl with the glasses, she reminds me of Asuka from Hibike Euphonium. As for the rest, well, it's hard to say. The ed seems to be giving some interesting Madoka-like hints but I'm afraid it'll just be a ripoff. Also, the yuri scares me a bit. I have nothing against it but it's not what I came for. |

| Idk y but I get a kinda SymphoGear x Madoka Magica vibe. I expected very less from Assault Lily, both after seeing the cover a long time ago, later read the synopsis and atleast the trailer. But this first episode really blew my expectations. What blew my mind the most was the action packed animation, I fucking loved it and it was like seeing a semi-version of Ufotable. That was the moment I realized it was Shaft doing the anime. I also really like the design of the girls, none flat chested or oversized ones, all reasonable also the more loli-alike ones, reminds me a little bit of Princess Principal or a bit like Girls und Panzer to some extend. Even their hair movements had good animation. When I looked through this seasons anime beforehand I would've expected Assault Lily to be as bad as that "Im standing on a 1,000,000 lives" trash isekai. Tho after watching both I can easily differ between them and see how bad the second ones animation is and just how bad it is overall compared to Assault Lily. As people say it reminds them a lot about Madoka Magica, even Riri's pink hair and less experience than the others is the exact same as Madoka and the "Huge" are similar to the enemies from Madoka Magica. Because real life also have begon to take more time and priority for me I have less time to watch seasonals and anime in general, so this season I expected to atleast watch 1 ep of those I had same low standard expectations for as Assault Lily and the million lives, I can easily say that Im probably gonna drop or set million lives on hold because I don't have time for it and Im definitely gonna keep watching Assault Lily until the end. Im usually watching everything I begin until the end but University is saying that's a no no when you wanna Do Uni, IRL, gaming and anime with 17-18 animes Im interested in this season. Shaft keep up the good work!!! |
| I went in with not a lot of expectations, but I gotta say, this premiere surprised me quite a bit, I'm very interested on how this is going to turn out. There's a lot space of growth in the story, and I think they can make something really good out of this. Amazing OST and beautiful flowing fighting scenes by Shaft, once again, they're doing a incredible job at that! Hope it stays like that! +Jeez, the girls are really cute. I'm hyped for the next episode, let's see what it can give us. |

| Many girls characters (not to say only), magic but also sword-rifle weapons (instead of wands or staves) : I like that first approach ! Plus the monsters called Huge certainly are different from the classics of this genre. |

| The animation was great (as expected from Shaft) especially during the fight scenes and the characters are pretty cute, I look forward to more episodes in the future! The OP was done by Raise A Suilen damn I was really happy about it! Not to mention there's 2 characters who are voiced by the same seiyuus who voiced Rimi and CHU2 from Bandori haha I was surprised xD |

| It was good, the girls were cute and the animation was good. I have two questions though. 1. Are only girls allowed to Lilies? Or is this just an girls only school that is used for training Lilies? I looked on the Wiki and couldn't find an answer. 2. . . . Why students?....why students? Or why kids? (Do I even have to ask?) Now this might just be me making assumptions about the show/it might be answered later but, all the Lilies we've seen have been students and there is a school for training students to be Lilies. The answer I've come up with is that maybe this school trains the girls while they are young then sends them off to be stronger Lilies in places made for adult Liles. I hope this actually gets answered since I've seen/heard of multiple series' like this (Cute girls fight monsters) and the more in depth questions don't get answered sometimes so I hope this one is. |
