| Ah even appare-ranman sneaks an onsen episode in. This was a fun one. Best girl Xia Lian looking mad thick. Dylan is normally a really intimidating person, but he looked a lot more human today and we learnt about the pain he’s carrying. Wonder if we’ll get more info about Claudia soon. Also happy birthday to Amamiya Sora, Xia Lian’s seiyuu! |

| Hototo thinking he finally avenged his father when the real Gil just retired from the race. I'm gonna be honest, I fucking hate Appare. He's uninteresting despite being a genius. I usually like those type of brainy characters but he has such an awful personality. Was it supposed to be funny while he walked around mindlessly nearly getting hit by a car or stepping on that man's foot? He needs a fucking punch in the face. Surprisingly I enjoyed the hot spring scene. They just had to wedge that in there. |

| Great hilarious pits-top episode. Most times I don't like these goofy kinda episodes when big plot happens but I really had a good laugh with this week's episode ^^ I do hope they will continue with the romance, curious to see what relationships will manifest. Sofia was the real MVP for me this ep. I'm really starting to like her personality. Richard, don't you dare do anything bad to Sofia! |

I was as confused as Kosame & Appare at first when everyone was in the Hot Spring with swimsuits on haha My favourite thing about this anime is how everyone has so much fun when they come together, even though it's often chaos 😁 I swear to God, if Gil does anything to Sofia Imma get real mad 😡 |

| Today's ep felt like a calm before the storm, which was a nice thing to do. A nice episode all round, filled with so many moments, it's hard to pin point which one I wanted to talk about first lol. A much needed break before we get into more serious racing. |

Really fun episode, especially the onsen part. Of course, very appreciated for some Xialian and Sofia fanservice too! Man, Xialian is so hot <3. |

Oops my bad, I wasn't paying attention in the last episode. I thought that fake girl wasn't really the one who killed his dad. If that's the case then "fake Gil" wasn't a good antagonist. IMO. The way they introduced him and all didn't really grab my attention. Thanks for clearing that up. |

| What a fantastic episode! We had a little of everything. Even some romance. The most important thing is obviously the engine, and it was funny how Appare was thinking bout how to change and improve the design of the double engine. Glad he finished it. The whole Kosame x Jing scene was so unexpected for me, glad to see some romance in this anime, and btw in my country when someone puts too much salt we say he fell in love, so maybe Appare wasn't that wrong xD But the MVP of this episode was ofc Sophia xD And judging from that ending that guy is onto something, i do hope Sophia knows some martial arts... |

| Thanks to Kosame's bravery last episode, the Trans-America race lives on, in the fear of Gil T. Cigar a.k.a Richard Reeseman laying waste to the partly-completed race so far. For now, a short break for all the racers to evaluate their next steps for preparation. What went down this episode: - As usual, Appare takes no breaks in improving his hybrid engine for the race. - The Bad Brothers posing as "fake Gil" sure got me there for a minute, but all is well. - Al Lyon, Sophia and TJ engaging in a drinking contest (with Sophia binging better than the guys) sure is funny. Well said TJ: She's a keeper. The highlight of Xialian and Kosame having a sparring session, conversing about their teaching styles, and having the unexpecting romance. American onsen for all, clearly the distinction of Kosame and Appare's Japanese culture against the others which was hilarious, and adding the Japanese flare to it just makes for one full swing. No matter, time to get back to the race with the completed engine! And for Richard to start his guise. |

| So much packed into this eps. Sophia mayahps ranks as best girl now. Although I do worry for her. Samurai and kungfu girl are a match made in heaven as far as im concerned, and I have a little suspicion the hair guy had possibly already invented the part Appare was needing. Eeeeeek. So much love and fun packed into 25 mins. Not to mention we finally got the good old hot springs albiet by episode 9. Normally its 7 or 8. Squueeeee |

| A really fun slice of life style episode. Tho I enjoyed it a lot, I wonder if there's really enough time to be doing this now. I guess I just had the wrong impression about this series. I thought it would be a lot more racing and actually being on the road than just goofy characters doing shit and the Gil plot line. Also the hot springs culture shock joke was pretty funny. I'm so used to anime hot springs that I just assumed everyone would be naked so it was a fun twist. |

| never a dull moment with all the "fight" scenes huh, and yay "bikini" time :D holy shit, that guy threw the big guy just as high as he did with the kid, dafuq "cute?" yeah ofc <3 yeah, appare walking around was dumb as hell, and taking into account what other characters do in this anime, i'm sure he would have taken a few punches in that scene LOL |

| Surprisingly great episode. The interaction between Appare and Carter was great, the Appare shenanigans, a little bit of romance between Xialian, the Sophia-TJ drinking game, the hot spring, etc. A "The whole is greater than the sum of its parts" kind of episode. |

| Really great and funny episode, definitely the calm before the storm. Appare walking around minding his own business lmao. All the characters are reaaly fucking great I like them all and damn Sofia can hold his own when drinking even TJ is no match. And that hot spring scenes are also really great. Next episode is where shit will hit the fan judging from the preview, if Gil does anything bad to Sofia then fuck life. |

| This was definitely a "clam before the storm" type of episode, but it's also the funniest episode of the series so far, too. =D Appare went into a trance of thinking which took him to cutting up the town's traffic, a visit to the barber's, stepping on a guy's foot and finally a Donkey ride to Thomas Edison's house of all places! XD Another great moment was the drinking game, where Al couldn't even hold his liquor whatsoever against TJ, so Sofia took TJ on and won with ease, which she got a round of applause from the entire bar. TJ's right, though, when he said that Sofia was "a keeper". The hot springs scene was also really good, too. I got a good amount of luaghs from the culture clash when Kosame and Appare went in nude when it was a clothed and co-ed hot springs, as well as the intense rock-paper-scissors match that turned into a fight. Plus, Sofia and Xialian looked really sexy in their swimwear. =3 It wasn't all fun and hi-jinks, though. Carter, the guy who wants Dylan to win, used to be a race engineer in his past and like Appare, he was always for ways to improve the cars he worked on, but his bosses didn't approve of this and always shot his ideas down, most likely due to cost reasons and such. No wonder he's jealous of Appare. Anyways, the next episode will have the race resumed, although I do worry for Sofia, as the now retired Richard has his eyes set on her. I do hope she'll be okay... |

| That moment of realization that I forgot to watch Appare... Sofia handles her liquor very well! As TJ said, she's a keeper!! Onsen scene was brilliant, the culture differences was put into a really nice and funny way. Hototo 2.0 using Appare as a log was amazing. Sofia and Xialin were fucking gorgeous!! Sure is a lack of racing again though! Richard really is a shady guy after all. |

| @SkyLETV @KANLen09 @AivanK I love that they chose to do subtle romance instead of giving it up altogether, as it is now often thought to distract from the main plot messages or subplots. As a result, we have two obvious ships, which at the same time do not distract from the plot. Well, maybe three if you're also in the slash like the dude above, lol. @winddevil1 It's weird that you didn't find yuri vibes here. When Sophia said that he was like a brother to her and sat down next to the Chinese girl, I thought that she would say now "actually, I prefer girls" lol. |

| Hot spring episodes go always, if someone says something else, I will direct them to this episode (back upon starting this anime, it seriously wasn't something within my expectations for what's going to await me) Really fun stuff, especially Dylan who's low-key dandy. And watch out Sofia! |

| I'm starting to actually like the characters and how they interact with each other too... but there are only three episodes left so it feels kinda like a waste. ;__; Why do writers do this so often?? I totally understand learning more about characters as we go and growing to love them, but at least show us a little something more at the beginning so it's more that we'll grow to like them MORE by the end.;; I dunno, that's just my take. Because all of these episodes before just kinda made me think like, "Ahhh stale characters", and just makes me uninterested. But when you show me what's what or what the characters CAN be upfront themn it kinda makes me pay attention to them more and makes me actually WANT to learn more about them which in turn makes me care about the plot or ya know, just what's going on in general. Because before, let's say, the part in an earlier episode when Appare was trying to make a campfire and Xia Lian asked if he'd work on her car and his face was pretty much like, " dskdjghf yes please", I honestly didn't really... care much for Appare at all. But after that I was kinda more like, "Okie, Appare. I kinda get you. You're weird but I see you, dude". Ya know? It's the little things sometimes that make me attach to characters, and I think this episode did a nice job of that. All og these characters can be fun. There's more to them than the first episodes or so implied, but it just kinda sucks that it took so long to know that the show CAN get them to that point. Sigh. Wellers, I'll just try to enjoy what's left. Now they've given me a good apple, but the apple's only as good as what's left on the core. :C EDIT: My correction and to my very pleasant surprise, there were four episodes left, not three. Dunno why, but I thought it was a 12-er, not a 12 + 1-er. The extra episode makes a difference. While I still wish there were more episodes after connecting with the characters more, I can't complain! I got part of what I wanted, so hey. lol |

| Pretty peaceful episode with some great interactions between the contestants like Sofia definitely being a keeper ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°), some chemistry between Kosame and Xialian, Appare barging into Edison's home and some nice American onsen. |

| TJ really is a fun character. I love his swimsuit and it was funny to see him so happy when he was thrown into the sky XD Sofia and Jing were so pretty! And... whoever tries to harm Sofia then I pray for death to be on whoever they are. |
