| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Oh ho, an unusual fish hook to capture a unique type of fish: rockfish. Of course, fishing to Natsumi and Hina is just as adventurous, and any fish is worth a challenge, in this case: Burakuri fishing (which turns out to be Oono's first experience in fishing, and immediately into fandom mode and backing out just as quick). Just as with fishing for squid and horsies, Oono-senpai's experience in teaching Hina was worth every moment, and safety first as always (because Hina is THAT fragile). That JoJo "MUDA MUDA" moment of conflict with Prez Kuroiwa though, almost leaking out some embarassing history. Bait is always a weak point for the frightened amateur. Fishing for rockfishes through sea boulders is a real challenge of perseverance, but Hina did it anyways to fish a scorpion fish. Girl, you ain't gonna handle rockfishes the same way you did with common fish, ain't ya? If you can gut fish, this is a piece of cake. And Natsumi finding time to scare Hina was well worth the chuckles. So that embarassing moment turned out to be Oono's traumatic history of falling into the sea when she was young. Certainly one to be brought up as a subject of humiliation, but also a learning lesson as well. YES OONO-SENPAI we acknowledge your guidance! Too excited to fish, but forgetting entirely about school and tests, a passion that comes 2nd before education. A study session at Natsumi's cottage log home-cum-restaurant, it was very welcome. Natsumi in her glasses is just about the genius move to showcase her bookworm-ness, yeah. The gut fish fabric knitting...WAHHH I WANT ONE SO, SO, SOOOO BADLY!!! The next fishing session...fishing with YARN? That'll be great if it works. Another nice episode, enjoying this a lot more! |

| A new week and a new fish to catch, Ono's story was funny to hear and she really cared for the other girls. Natsumi's house looked interesting, seems like it's build against flooding or for easy parking for their customers. |

| Scorpion fishes?... so good for me to watch because when I was younger is was fishing them in that same sort of place with the rocks but it was more dangerous because I was doing it with a landing net... sure their method is safe and easy xD Natsumi with glasses is actually cute, her mother is funny and she really looks like her daughter |

| Ohno senpai best girl. Another fun and cute episode, this time we learn about rock fishing. I’ve learnt so much from this series that I never would’ve got otherwise. I’ve been fishing before and it was ok, but this makes me want to go out and try it again. Natsumi’s mom is absolutely adorable too. Nice to see the score rising for the show now. Definitely an underrated gem. |

| very nice episode, it was enjoyable, the fishing part of the story was quite funny lol ohno going rage at kuroiwa and acting like a mother towards hina. she was just scared of the sea, big oof. the second half was interesting too, just a nice little hangout with friends was a pretty wholesome experience. man this anime is healing. |
| So funny to see Hina's impressed face every time Oono tells them something inspiring. Every time Hina got those stars in her eyes is just too cute. Both Hina and Natsumi are really fascinated by Oono, so adorable. But don't go to Oono for your swimming lessons xD |

| New episode, new fishing style, and new fish to get showed. Nice! Its even nicer when i knew some information about Ohno senpai in flashback. Her experience about the first time fishing, and the reason why she was wearing the life saving jacket everytime when they were fishing. Such a cute story she had there, and she just looks like Hina in the present time. Thats why she looked so worry about Hina's activity there and before. Lmao. How adorable! The second part where the sweetness taking over the usual fishing theme. Natsumi and Hina interaction surely get interesting talked there and its felt so relaxing to watched. Natsumi style with the eyeglasses was okay. I don't hate it, its just, she looks like Ohno when she wore it. Its nice to seeing something different, and develop their relations more than before. Hina newbie time slowly got passed. Thanks to Natsumi help, she could survived the hard time as a newcomer. The development felt so real cute, i like that! Okay episode in general, and lets see when they were fishing in a heavy rain. |

| Ohno-senpai and Natsumi won so many good points this week. Ohno taking care of Hina like a worried mom was really sweet to see and the whole second half featuring a more casual Natsumi made me like her character even more now. The time she and Hina spent together as well as their interactions felt very natural too. |
| It was nice to get some Oono backstory and some Natsumi story as well. Another very fun episode. The Oono faces this week were top tier! |

| The fact that Ohno can't swim just makes her even more wonderful in a way. And Hina has now reached the point in anime like this where they start going off to do things on their own, we've made good progress. |

| Poor Oono-senpai! When Hina bought her jacket a few episodes ago, I wondered why Oono was the only one with a life jacket always on. Now I know why... That aside, I really liked Hina and Natsumi's study session. Now they know each other better ^_^ |

| LOL Oono-senpai is like a mother watching her kids trying out something new and is constantly trying to protect them by holding onto them, lol. Oono is so cute, XD "Life Jacket is LIFE" lol She gets embarrassed so easily. Makes me want to just cuddle her right up. |

| Episode along the lines of the previous one, which however revives the narrative making the vision much more interesting. The script, mixing the cards a little, brings the story forward and at the same time lets you know a little better, this time, the character of Makoto and much more that of Natsumi who is becoming almost co-star in the plot. The episode in the second part of the narrative is very much slice of life. |

| Nice episode! Oono is keeping watch over the little ones and blushes whenever someone praises her, so sweet! Nice seeing Natsumi's mom. I like when parents are present and act like parents. A great example is the parents in Yama no Susume. This feels similar in that aspect. Both Oono and Kuroiwa looks really nice in their casual clothers in the outro, by the way! |

| rock fishing looks fun, didn't expect Ohno to have such weakness considering she could do lots of thing, who would've thought she couldn't swim and same with Natsumi, didn't expect her to be the studious type as well and she wore contact this whole time, unexpected gap moe |
| Nice to see some character development this episode. We hear the story of Oono's fear of drowning and inability to swim, the reason for her always present flotation vest, ironic for the daughter of a fish monger. And who would have thought that Natsumi would be the egghead and Hina the poor student! I love how fishing is their excuse to procrastinate with their studies. Natsumi was bragging about finishing in the top 10 of her middle school. Ashikita has 3 middle schools, probably with about 70 students each... Ashikita only has 16,000 residents according to Wikipedia. Google Ashikita High School and you get beautiful photos of the new school uniforms, chosen to present a more mature and professional appearance. And there are photos of the high school entrance ceremony! Looks like there might be about 200 students total at Ashikita High School. It really is a small town! Kawaii! |

| Is fishing with yarn actually a viable option? Natsumi was a bit more nervous at her own house than she usually is. Not used to her friends seeing her in an environment like that I guess :P |
