| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Well, it's an interesting choice that Arte wants to travel to Venice. And not only that, she also wants to go there with Yuri. Feels like she's growing more and more independent as this show goes on. I feel like this episode is kinda important for her character evolution. |

| It seems like Arte decided to go to Venice, beginning with a conversation in the library, they talked about their journey later. I was interesting with the scene where Yuri was teasing Darcia, look that her face was blushing, Lol. Yuri and Arte decided to go to Venice using a ship, but if seen the ship Arte was a pirate ship there was a duel / sword fight between Yuri and the head of the pirates ... The fight was fierce but at the end Yuri cheated with how to cover his opponent's view with cloth then cornered him, Arte seems to be drawing a bird.  Arriving there, it looks like they were looking at a flower vase, Arte was very interested in the flower vases there, I thought they were doing something important until they came to Venice but all I saw was they were just looking at a flower vase. |
| Another opportunity for Arte, and the recent venture (at the Nobleman Lord Yuri Farrier's request) has her travel to Venice, and the whole town of Florence is abuzz about it. Don't worry about it guys (Darcia and Angelo), she's only gonna be gone for 6 months. Even with farewell greetings between her and Leo, it raises a lot of uncertainty as another future is about to be born (in her own life and her artisan craftsmanship). The penchant swordfight onboard was a display of power though. Lords surely have some prowess of swordsmanship. And...the eventual arrival into Venice, and it's a totally different town altogether. As usual of a foreigner noblewoman's welcome, Arte is given special care from Lord Yuri, all the way to her job. As is with different customs, her way of interaction is strange indeed to the Venetians. Meeting sister-in-law Sofia and niece Katarina though, holy moly beauties are they, very intricate women. Sofia is OK, but Katarina immediately strikes out with her uncouth and stuckup behaviour. Looks like the naysayers' words are true: Katarina is ONE TOUGH NUT to crack. Very interested on how Arte will counter this defiant behaviour. |

| Fun ep as usual! Katarina is going to be a handful to work with, but I know Arte will have a breakthrough and become close with her eventually. You can tell Leo was pretty sad to see Arte go. Even though he wanted to be supportive, he’s definitely grown very close to her. Venetian society seems much more high class than Firenze, will be fun to see what other challenges Arte faces while there. Can’t wait for next week. |

| Are there any Venetians who can verify that they can stand on a moving boat? I had a feeling that Katarina was a brat and I was right. She and her mother was absolutely beautiful! Also, Arte looks so pretty in her new dress. |

| One more episode of Arte and this time we have been introduced to Venetian society, it seems that Katerina will be a good test for Arte. It was a bit sad how Leo said goodbye to his apprentice, but it was the best for her. Good episode (solid as the previous ones) and we only have 4 chapters ahead. |

| I knew Katarina's demeanor would change completely once her Mom left. I'm curious to see how Arte's action will refine Katarina. I've always wanted to visit Venice, Europe for that matter. I should probably plan for that. |

| I kept wondering why did they travel by boat to Venice, is it faster to go all around Italy, and finally reach Venice on the other side, when the land-distance is much closer? Or was this just done for plot purposes? Nonetheless, great episode. It feels weird to see Katarina as an annoying and not lovely character after watching Bakarina lol |

| Even though he obviously meant nothing about it, I really went Yikes when he said his sister's the most beautiful person he already met. Confused if Yuri is a potential love interest, because he said he's not into young girls, but then continues to appreciate his eyes and just watching her. Katarina, being the most kid of kids ever. Sure she had a valid point (about carrying her heavy ass luggage), but ready to fight her myself. I can tell this battle to befriend Katarina will reflect well in Arte's final portrait. But until then.. time to scuff this little princess up. BUT ALSO... we know Arte's a noble, and has noble ettiquette but I don't remember seeing her interact with many nobles (only her servants). |
They traveled from Florence to Venice by ship? What the fuck!? Edit: Probably they caught the ship on the east coast in the city of Ravenna or Rimini and then took course to Venice. This could explain why the trip was apparently brief. |

| I'm also watching Aria right now so It's a bit amusing to see another Venice (Neo-Venezia in Aria) in an anime. The layout looks quite similar and the way they travel throughout the city also. Pretty cool. I feel like I'm gonna like this little arc. |

| Arte really made some good friends, and I like how they made clear that they are going to miss her. Especially Veronica I guess. Arte might very well be her only friend and I'm sure it gets lonely. It would be nice if Darcia really went for the books and became her friend as well. I don't like how Leo said goodbye though, no wonder Arte misunderstood. At least Yuri is better than I thought and was honest with her, about the gift, the message and stuff, but it would have been much better if Leo had talked to her directly. Well, I guess I can hope for some moving reunion down the road instead. Welp, the scenery changed and Arte now has her hands full with Katarina, but I think that she dealt with worse stuff before so I'm sure she is going to be fine. |

| Yeah the little girl is exactly how I imagined her to be... a brat. I'm not too hyped for this arc to be honest I'm kinda scared this will ruin the whole anime for me. :/ Although I'm, glad that Yuri apparently isn't interested in Arte. |

| I still hadn't commented? See why I criticized this adaptation so much? Cutting Dacia introduction last episode was unforgivable and what's the point of keeping her character in this way? Serves no purpose and adds confusion. It's very annoying how the anime cut the important things while keeps other irrelevant things that would be better cutting, like Arte falling in the sea. And while Arte isn't "historical porn", the anime is clearly much less interested than the manga. I noticed that the anime omitted a few of Yuri's scenes when he talks more in depth about his business, the city and international relationships. It's no surprise that the anime don't want to make it clear that Yuri makes riches in the slave trade, and also it's no surprised that they shortened his talk over the map. It's a scene that shows a bit of his personality and like we already learned this anime dislikes showing the characters personalities and personal traits, even for the main characters. |

| Katarina, a typical Ojou-sama with harsh behaviour and kinda had an inner destructible personality when she was away from her mother. Goddamned, that little doll mouth served as an evil. She was like a chucky doll while her intentions potentially to annoy every servant they had. Idk her true reason. Lets see how Arte's handled her 'nice welcomed' attitude. Again. More nice moment Leo-san had, more the feeling got intensified. Glad, its over when they go far away. On the other hand, i found it pretty amusing to seeing Darcia and Angelo expression when Arte's wanna leave the city. Poor Angelo. His screen time was fuckin decreasing, and now he just getting more dissaperance by that sudden changed of plot. Its condition same to Darcia. However, since she kinda far away to the main plot, her condition comparing to Angelo was a bit of wrong. But, no problem i think. Since they spared as an Arte's friend, its all understandable in the end. Mostly the huge mistaken goes to Yuri. I feel bad to him for all the negativity thought on the previous comment. I am laughing, when he talked to Arte while she wake up from the fainting. Afterall, that was good that Yuri really had a positive intentions to the Arte. And the whole explanations about Leo-san and Arte's profession really changed my mind about his characterization. Its a great episode, plus with beautiful panorama by Venezia, really served as my relaxation show. Yeah, italic nuance, still adorable whenever i've seen it. Even if i watched it on the other show, its still good serving af. Thats it. |

| When things finally seem to going well, another problem/issue comes up. I guess that Arte is going to win the hearts of the servants first then she will find the way to winning Katarina's heart as well. That is if things go like they have been going so far. |
