big plot reveals this episode

the preacher of Ginrou works undercover as an employee for Sylvasta company, Ogami being the true Ginrou and mayor working directly with Sylvasta and being the first PHD in beastmen research. also some backstory on how Ginrou came to be what it is and it seems when Ogami enters Ginrou state, his fury for fellow beastmen shows no mercy, killing any human/enemy which endangers them

so its finally confirmed that Shiro is Ginro and so his backstory on how he became a immortal is magic eh

there was a translation error said by the fansubber btw instead of "10,000 years" it actually is "1000 years"

and lol at Michiru wanting to reveal the secret of Shiro to Nazuna wtf

that beast factor though so is it like making them a super saiyan or like the hulk that the more they rage the more they get powerful

Lot of action on the first half and interesting explanations about Shirou's identity on the second half.
I'm starting to really think Michiru is dumb for real, wtf, why she keep talking to Nazuna and now she wants to tell her about Shirou's identity, it does not make sense...

Michiru went from being sweet, cool and kind. To now honestly dumb. Bad move by her if she's gonna mention that.

I feel like Michiru gets dumber with each episode.

What is there, not to understand about Shirou being Ginrou? It was a pretty easy to understand story. Also, why did Shiro become so afraid of his power, I mean, he's been using it for good all this time.

I did really like the animation of how they told the backstory.

Even more reveals presented along with parallels to our society and history.

So far so good, but expecting some crazy stuff to happen towards the end.

The plot is getting better with each episode.
I don't know if we could call it foreshadowing, but now it makes total sense for Shinrou to have eaten the offerings.
Him being Ginrou was unexpected, same as Mayor Barbieri being in a concentration camp. I'm raising a few death flags on her, though. Too much tensions in the city, terrorist group cells are confirmed and Pingo even targeted her in the last episode. There's no way she would get to the end of the series unscathed.
Character development has been well managed. I'm severely clinging to the plot, as everyone seems to have their own motives: Boris, Mayor Rose and Alan have each one something to do in relation to Beast Factor research, but they all seem to work for their own interests.

On a side note, this chapter in particular reminded me of Godzilla. Big Beastman looked like Destoroyah, and Ginrou's origin was like Godzilla's (him/her being the manifestation of the souls of the Japanese soldiers that died in WWII).

I'm looking forward to what's coming up next. For now, this is having a solid 8/10 for me.

Quite the epic episode!

Michiru and Shirou properly working together for once taking down that (mutated) Rhino! That was a lot of violence this episode and animation during it was pretty damn good!

Reveal was handled well, eventho it was a given at this point that Shirou is Ginrou but a little unexpected that he's also immortal and has been living for over a 1000 years, damn!

Love how they had their own take on human history with World War II and the experiments on Beastmen!

ok these two plot twist were quite obvious but still it is nice that everything is revealing.

also before watching next episode my theory is that Silvasta Alan is definitely descendant of General that "killed" Shirou and now Silvasta company wants to recreate the same effect that Shirou got without mass genocide (at least for now)... but still current city have enough beastman to recreate situation and become immortal.

With last episode's "magnificent" PR work of the Silver Wolf, both Mayor Barbaray and Alan are working together for more oppression, but it's clear that the latter is going for the anti-beastmen faction as support rises.

And Michiru, just stop proping onto Nazuna, she's clearly a "changed" person.

Things get serious when Silver Wolf advisor Cliff Boris, along with Alan's (hidden background) experimental work, brings Doctor "Rhino" Yaba onto another mutation level that's insanely stronger than before. And yet, Michiru and Shirou only barely managed to contain it...through Shirou's reveal of him being Ginrou (that was a dazzling reveal).

With all this, the plot finally opens to Michiru's misunderstandings and how things that are supposed to be, are impostors through Mayor Barbaray's eyes.

Quite true! It was a classic take, but the story really weaved into itself so well.

I'm probably the minority that supports Michiru being a "dumb and dumber", but to expect Shirou being the REAL Ginrou, it's a 50/50 take on whether she wants to believe the story or not, but that ties in to character development as well. Michiru's more of a free and spirited person, and that fits her character calibre aptly, choosing to do what's right in her eyes.

Quite an epic episode.

Ah, finally. This theory was pretty popular.
It was bizarre seeing Shirou kind of losing. Brutally losing. Also, I just noticed the ED animation changed a bit - Nazuna is in her Beast form.

Why on earth would Michiru think it's a good idea to tell Nazuna (and to some extent, Boris as well) about Shirou's identity? I swear, she didn't learn anything and seems to get dumber with each passing episode...

This aside, it was an interesting episode overall. The confrontation against the mutant rhino during the first half was really entertaining but the second half with Shirou's backgrounds being revealed was easily what I liked the most.
Truth be told, it was beyond obvious that Shirou was Ginrou-sama all along but I found his backstory and connection with the Mayor quite intriguing so at least, I'm glad to see his character finally receiving some proper focus.

Oh, man, everything on beastmen city might be lead into some chaos in the future toward Alan research in that time. Never realise this colorful show gonna get some blood scene and brutality, comparing how nice its phase story, before. Nazuna, together with that racoon, Michiru, always defend their ego until this show really make me gone into rage, and so irritating. Thats some real girl problem i've seen so many times, in the real world too. Interesting to see the next episode, how they solve the problem with that Silver Wolf Ordo arcs, together with Alan's unknown project. Since the true Ginrou was just reveal with no great impact to me, together with his massive complex history beyond nothing, the show slowly going to take its peak season.

A bit boring with how much the slow pace comes as a way to finishing the show. However, since i love the art and its colorful idea of animation, i just simply want to see where the end lead me. I just need a cleared one. So my senses can come into a nicest one again.

I dont know what to expect from other episodes...
The first 6 episodes were so fu**ing great, the balance between main story line and the secret of beast-disease was good,
And then the episode 7 and 8 went into the game, from "dont use your ability" it went 180 degree into "use your ability in the middle of a city"

Episode that acts as a watershed between the pseudo-serious and the really busy part. This sudden and sudden dichotomy has produced a situation that, in my opinion, is amazing, literally made me jump from the chair the vision of the clash between Oogami and the enemy, especially in the most exacerbated moment of the battle. Another point that displaced me is the moment when Michiru decides to talk about the secret of Oogami with her friend, I thought the opposite happened, given what she and the mayor said to each other. Excellent, once again, the drawings and animations.

Now Michiru can fly whenever she wants, I think that I forgot to mention the last episode that learning to fly is not easy, even for birds, they take several days of practice. Boris works with Alan and somehow activated Yaba’s transformation, so brutal that fight, suddenly the anime became gore when Shirou was bleeding, and his transformation is awesome, I always wondered why he had that collar if he’s not a dog or a pet, or if it’s just fashion, but he never seemed that kind of dude. So, Shirou’s life has been long. Doesn’t understand Michiru’s hurry to demonstrate to Nazuna that she’s wrong.

Well that explains why Shirou is so stupid OP. It always annoyed me but I guess there was reason. I mean they are both wolves, but it's not like we learned about the legend early on in the series for the viewer to ponder on... I mean my general disinterest in this series certainly doesn't help my predictions.

At first it seems incredible to tell Nazuna that the Silver Wolf exists, but since he intends to say it without proof, the only way would be to tell him that Shirou is the silver wolf.
Michiru is no fool, she just decided in a hurry, and that's a good thing.

This big reveal was predictable since the 1st episode and the 1st appearance of Shirou. In fact not predictable, but clearly stated by his apparition seen by Michiru.

So this is not a big reveal, but just the formal explanation a bit late in the plot.

Know what was foreshadowed for real?

The Sylvasta LOGO is basically the same of that General that anihilated Shirou's ancient hometown.

I don't like mysteries, so as this anime is not even trying to hide anything, i'm enjoying it, lol.

Nice teamwork of Michiru and Shirou against berserk rhino guy. Not really suprised to learn Shirou is the Silver wolf but still epic to see him in battle, his history is pretty dark no wonder he hates humans after witnessing centuries of their worst side. I always thought the mayor was some owl or something but judging by the title of the episode mole rat is also fine.

This has got to be the best episode of the series till far!!

It's finally confirmed that Shirou is the Silver Wolf!!! His past was really tragic.
Why do I feel that the general who killed his clan is still alive and in Anima-City!!??XDXD

That fight was amazing though. Rhino guy didn't stand a chance against Shirou and Michiru.

I think that Alan and Borris are in cahoots and planning something.

Really interesting episode!

The battle with the rhino was quite brutal, was not expecting Trigger to go that way in that specific show. Guess it's to give a sense of seriousness, yet it's so sudden, feels like a tonal discrepancy. Fearing even bigger discrepancies in the upcoming episodes.

I don't know, the premise and the characters are quite good, but the narrative devices like the sect, the genocide, etc feel so formulaic, hard to see myself getting invested in any ending. Which is a shame really because you want a Trigger show to have an epic ending you can empathise with.

Surprised that people were surprised with the reveal about Shirou. Sure, it wasn't 100% obvious, but who else would've been the god-wolf but him? Michiru is too desperate to get her friend back. Don't think someone as brainwashed as Nazuna can believe Michiru at this point. In worst case she'll leak his secret.
