I'll be delving into indie comics besides Copperhead this season.
One of the last movies I watched as of late was Gundam SEED Freedom. One of the best we got so far and one of my friends is a huge fan of Kotono Mitsuishi.
Other than that, I hope that you'll have a happy Halloween soon.
intense heat wave here.... now going 42-50 degrees.
two of the three cats lounging in our office had to be manyally carried out during closing time.. they like the air conditioning so much. lol
I haven't been into Star Trek yet and I don't remember which show came out when I was growing up in the 90s. I think that someone in my family watched reruns of some Star Trek season.
I'll definitely check out the original series before it's old sequel that everyone seems to talk about every other day.
All the shows I watched growing up in the 90s were cartoons and Power Rangers. Then Voltron got reruns eventually.
By the way, I've got three more volumes of Silent Möbius left to read before getting started with the sequel QD. Came out 10 years ago and have only found about it recently.
As for anime, I plan on watching watching this Akito The Exiled OVA, but I remember the cast including Maaya Sakamoto.
As for video games, I look forward to making more time for Grandia HD.
Lately, I've been re-reading Silent Möbius so that I can learn more Japanese and get into the sequel QD.
If I were to go to Japan right now, then I would need custom overalls with max pockets for my big deck of kanji flashcards. Have a custom one around me like it's Batman's utility belt.
I'm interested in the whole Mortal Kombat franchise actually. I'm also thinking about getting into a MK kick.
Can't wait to check out Hiragana Battle some time. Thanks for the recent recommendation.
Until my kanji is good enough for reading through Silent Möbius' messy furigana, I'll be reading Suikoden 3 which has become my new favorite manga. It has more detailed plot than its source material so Aki Shimizu did a great job adapting it to manga.
As for my birthday, it was above average and I'll get my charcoal chimney soon so I can forge steel anywhere, without hair dryers.
I've been studying Japanese via ebooks like Instant Japanese (for hiragana and katakana) and via The Kodansha Kanji Learner's Dictionary. Kanji is my concern now since digital copies of Silent Möbius have messy overall furigana (hard to tell if those small, out of focus parallel lines are mu, ha, na, ge, pa or i). So yes, kanji or basic Chinese is definitely the trickiest writing set.
No wonder Japanese women chose hiragana over kanji when the old Japanese government banned teachers from teaching women Chinese. Hiragana is much easier to learn than Chinese, beginner or expert level. I don't even consider kanji to be a true Japanese writing set.
I should be able to play Valkyria Chronicles 3 just fine with hiragana and katakana alone. Other than that, I can't wait to use Japanese for getting through those old Sakura Taisen games' VN-style dialogue.
I'll have to get a higher capacity drive some time. Especially for MK11.
Hello again miss! So how are you doing this spring? I've been reading Digimon V-Tamers and playing FF9 this season.
I plan to read Hajime no Ippo and some sci-fi manga (Gantz, 20th Century Boys, Eden, Planetes, Rebuild World, Blame, Pluto, etc) until I get more news about future Macross movies. Would be great if Silent Möbius could get a remake this decade which has more relatable characters than those in battle shounen manga.
I would have rushed out the car and gave some catfood to that stray Tom in your area. ^^
hmm, when we visit my aunt in the neighboring village.. when the car is parked. I give catfood to all the cats I see. hehe
there's a large black tom cat in the marketplace that I feed almost everyday.
it's progressing the same as the manga. No anime only changes done.
as expected a lot of people hate Kanoko.

Stray
the white stray male is still alive, and it has grown bigger. A little more muscular, also fuller in the stomach. It's amazing how fast a cat can recover in only a few weeks. Fortunate that I found muslims who also like cat, and the stray is living in front of their shoe store. The muslims also sometimes give it rice, so it helped with the faster recovery.
I found a second stray, this time a female. Was able to feed it for 4-5 days, and there's a homeless old man helping to watch it. i also give coins to the homeless man. However, after 5 days, the stray disappeared. The homeless man man searched it for 2 days, and we are still searching, but the stray seems to have disappeared. Maybe it went with a male cat?

Neighbor dogs
oh, that's a pain, and also dangerous. Pitbulls are dangerous dogs!

agreed.
also another thing. I agree with Bachiko, not everyone will be Iruma's friend, he will get enemies too. These experiences are important for his growth.

I've been having a busy winter and I've been playing Grandia in my free time.
My Japanese is also picking up some more momentum and Wild Arms 2 will help greatly. The original Japanese copy, that is.
Oxford Japanese Grammar and Verbs is definitely my next best book after Instant Japanese.
May Boyé-sensei RIP, Mr. Boyé Lafayette de Mente. Yes, that name does sound pretty Frenchy.

As you can see, that's what I've been doing after reading and watching School Rumble. My Ontarian friend is a huge fan of that series.
It's clear to many that my 34th birthday is coming up next and my baby sister as of late got a homebaked birthday cake recently.
As for comic books, I've been thinking of reading Transmetropolitan and Saga after completing my Japanese courses.
How are you doing this summer by the way?

ah. that's sad. I would have fed it a lot of food if I was in the neighborhood.
have you tried giving the cat some food?
