| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Interesting, we got to see some of Subaru's past. I like how that cat licked his tears though. It's almost if it knows what he's feeling. Got more narrative from the cat's perspective. I think the VA does a great job at protraying the character to make them look like a character larger than life. |

| Another excellent episode, this time one that was surprisingly emotional; Subaru's breakdown about his parents was so powerful, and Haru comforting him was so sweet. Then flipping the perspective and learning that Haru was trying to get rid of the ghosts of his parents - who were obviously staying out of concern for Subaru - was a complete surprise, but honestly didn't take much away from the emotions at all. It is interesting to see this show embrace that, as you do often hear people suggest that animals can see the supernatural as Haru does. |

| This one hit me in the feels a bit. Didn't expect this anime to do it. Honestly, really pleasantly surprised by this one. Not exactly a masterpiece of anime, but a nice SOL/drama featuring a cat is something I can always get behind. Also, this cat is one of the best cats in anime. Certainly up there with Sakamoto-san. Just really reminds me of my cat with all of its weird antics. |

| Great episode. The moment Subaru thought about his parents and regretted not being able to spend more time with them hit so hard. I almost instantly teared up as he started crying. T.T Subaru sees a lot of himself in Haru which is perhaps why he also kinda lets Haru do as she pleases. Subaru realizing that there are people that still care for him. :) The spirit stuff was unexpected but that final thank you from the spirits of his parents towards Haru was once again really emotional. |

| Haru is such an amazingly compassionate cat, I wish to have her. That protective nature of hers on top of that cuteness made me love her more. I see she hasn't opened up with Kawase, poor guy though. |

| Bro this episode freaking got me good T_T From everything with his parents, down to the Photo Album, Haru trying to protect Subaru, and even Haru licking Subaru. Such a good episode. Haru is such a good girl. |

| So Haru can see whisps huh... looks like the souls of his parents crossed-over. Good thing there is a good friend of the MC who is addicted to cats since he can't have one because of allergy of a relative... 4/5. |

| Damn, this was a great episode! Nearly cried on two occasions but definitely cried once during Subaru’s breakdown there, the regrets ;-; . He had very supporting parents, especially the mother so far, and the moment of realisation being too late totally depressed me there. Good thing Haru’s persistence has made him realise all that, and that bonding scene between the two was so very adorable. Gah, I so need a cat! Anyway, another very interesting train of thoughts from Haru’s perspective. Who would’ve thoughts the spirits would be of the parents though? I wonder if Haru understood the ‘thank you’ message even. But it seems like they’ve happily passed on now leaving their introverted son at the hands of Haru, and that was nice to see! Haru’s flashbacks of his harsh life were on-point and her oath of always staying beside Hinckley was sweet to see! Definitely looking forward to this series in the next week and the coming weeks after that! |

| Poor Subaru, now there's only regrets left. Finding that album with all of those notes, realizing just how much his parents wanted him to be there with them, it must have hurt a lot. Especially because it's too late to do something about it. But he still has time to learn, and try to change from now on. I believe Haru is going to change his life for good, helping him to open up to other people. |

| Like a few others, I also cried twice in this episode...quite emotional and heartwarming. I really love Haru's POV, she brings out the heartwarming side of things. Subaru's side sort of usually starts out with showing his faults, such as being really frustrated and annoyed at people not being considerate, but then realizes that that's not the case at all. It feels good too see a character grow. There's definitely still a lot of room for character growth :) Haru really is an angel, btw. Couldn't help but cry even more when she said she'd always be there to protect Subaru. |
| This episode reminded me of how good my life was when I used to own a cat. It's pretty harsh now, few years after my last cat passed away. I really need a new... roommate. Back to the episode, I also like how a cat helps Subaru get through his past. Imagine him being all alone in that room 😮 |

| I thought the superstition that animals see ghosts was only in my country. lol. I like how Haru's behaviour towards the editor is not explained in her perspective. It's as if she was just being a cat. Subaru mentions that cats are warm after stroking Haru's head. But, he's already grabbed her before. Plus, she was sitting on his thigh just moments before he stroked her head. Aren't abdomens supposed to be warmer than heads? After three episodes, the title of this anime has become quite funny. |

| It's so heartwarming that I almost end up with tears every single episode. That scene with picture album was emotional. Haru was trying to fight off ghosts all this time lol. So that was Subaru's parents. When they saw Subaru was not alone anymore they passed on peacefully or something like that. |

| I love how this anime makes a first part about the human perspective and other from the cats POV, it helps us know each other in the same situation, is an interesting form of narrative. BTW, this episode was just too cute, how the cat tries to help his owner to grow as a person. |
