I think this was a great episode. Lalah and Tetsuro changing bodies was a bit funny though. I don't really understand Tetsuro's thinking. Now, he said that he needs his body because his mother's and father's blood flow through it. But then he wants that machanical body also...
I love when Maetel pulls some attack from out of nowhere, like when she shot with her ring here. Always makes me lol~
Seems like their relationship is developing well now~

I thought this was a bit boring because most of the elements in this episode we've seen before. Once again we saw how people with mechanical bodies lose all conscience and compassion. Didn't expect Maetel to blow up two planets though, I find it quite curious, like with Tetsurou killing sentient beings. It's like they're saying "sometimes you just have to kill evil people" which is strange considering it feels like a series meant for impressionable young boys.

Lahal wanted to get out of that planet? Why you need to switch bodies when you could have just stole their tickets?

Maetel is bit harsh with all that planet destroying. O.o

Why choose male's body when there's female right in front of you? And Mestol was going to put himself into female body...

Tetsuro, you already got your mechanical body, and for free. What else do you need?
But then again, he's just a kid and may not realise what he really wants himself, and being inconsequential isn't that strange at his age. But I still think that he's right in that it's better to live few thousand years than a hundred, but it's better to pick up mechanical body when you are already old or seriously ill

Tetsuro asks: "Does everyone who gets a mechanical body become like these people?", and this is her unvoiced answer: "Yes, everyone"? How can she even know that, by encountering only few of the people there?

Because Lahla's "tired of this mechanical body", and Complete Mechanization planet is the only place where they can replace their bodies with the real ones?

Continuing my speculations from the previous episode:

We also now know that transferring personality from one body to another is possible, even without the need to move the actual brain. I understand it's science fiction, but that idea is quite absurd in my opinion

Answering what was said in episode 12 discussion:
Tsukaji said:
I wonder what conductor does with that gas cloud... Is he going to endanger passengers because timetable says they should depart after gas cloud comes?

I though this episode was god awful. The villains acted like bunch of retards and Maetel who tends to be way too forgiving suddenly commits a fucking genocide. How can he doom everyone on that planet based on few people's actions.

It felt really out of character to her suddenly act that way. If she was so convinced that people lose their "soul" when transferring to a mechanical body then why has she been so lenient before?

Well i'm pretty sure the author of this series is bit of romantic and believes in "soul" so maybe he didn't care about the technical aspect but you could say that the machine just transferred all the data from Tetsuro's brain to robot and vice versa.

I don't think it's possible to say at this point whether such thing could or couldn't be done. Question like that can't really be answered until we fully know how brain works.

But anyways. What i really wonder whether that kind of transfer would mean that the original consciousness would be lost in the progress. My gut feeling would be that if you did something like that it would be like cloning the person. The transferred would appear 100% to every other person but it really wouldn't be you there in the new body.

Lol, planet eliminator Maetel.

I know she's supposed to have secrets, but I don't know what could make sense in that case: she's a general superviser of all cyborg lifeform? a fighter for man-cyborg equality of rights?

Oh boy that ending! I'm sure Maetel had something to do with it, but to blow up two planets for that incident? Well the planet had some nasty people on it though.

Let's see what's next!

Starting to wonder why they keep getting off the train, don't think anything good has happened by doing so.

So did Metel destroy those two worlds? I thought the scientists desperately wanted to leave because of the impending collision.

Hmmh, so we don't see how Maetel blow two planets up. Also like with everything there should be the good and the bad for mechanical beings. The view of cyborgs is too one sided here. Also, it seems to me cyborg mechanical bodies are presented as bad compare to flesh and bones. No middle ground.

Goddammit Maetel, you lecture Tetsuro about self-control for shooting a guy in the head that was trying to skin you alive while the bartender had your arms pinned. Then the end of this episode happens.

They tried to mess with me and my shota...so I blew up both of their planets

At least when the Dirty Pair commits genocide, it's not malicious

I don't know if this episode is so over the top it's awesome or horrifying

Anyway I thought Maetel was a robot, but the cyborgs think she's human. That I don't buy for a minute. I dunno, maybe she has a sophisticated body that fools sensors into reading it as human?

Maetel:
Tetsuro, you need to show self-control no matter what.
Maetel:
You are all horrible people. You all deserve death along with the death of your planets.
Maetel:
(Blows up 2 planets).
She's pretty based tbh. I'm interested to see her true identity.
Also:
>Voices change with bodies.
This is always dumb.

Having a normal body has it's perks too.

The moment at the end where Tetsuro was reminded of his mother was cute until it was interrupted by the clash of the two planets.

The line of the narrator reminded how huge and lonely the universe is.

Interesting that the medical duo wanted to be in a human body. A warm body is sometimes some people's hope.

Maetel again being a questionable and mysterious character. Who is she really? Tetsurou wonders, so do I.

I agree with this. We’re getting this in nearly every episode so far. Cyborgs=bad lol. Would be cool to see a few good cyborgs that are happy with choosing to get a mechanical body.

Those two doctors were wrong to try to put their souls in Tetsurou and Maetel's bodies, but I didn't expect Maetel to blow those planets up, lol.

There are many mysterious things about Maetel.
