Kohaku is such a selfless person. I love how she wants to help others in particular Hitomi in this case with her colorless world problem.

Definitely an important episode imo as it explores the recurring themes of magic again. For Hitomi, I think she's really fortunate to have people like Kohaku and Yuito in her life.

So things are moving on and the Hitomi might have a way back to the future again.
But it also seems romance is going to play a big role from now on with Hitomi being in love with Aoi and the club president being in love with her.
It's starting to get interesting.

Seeing Kohaku trying and learning time magic, and Hitomi saying "i want to stay here" ... ma heart, ma soul.

Kohaku is such a delight, I love her. <3
The way she was teasing Hitomi and Yuito was hilarious but at the same time really sweet since she genuinely wants to help Hitomi get rid of her color blindness.

The parts where Kohaku asking Hitomi if she ever wants to return and Hitomi eventually saying that she would like to stay here were sad. :(
Hitomi has grown to love the era and the friends she's made. :(

Maybe she will stay in present after all? By time Future Hitomi is born, both Present Hitomi and Kohaku will be grandmas, and maybe there wont be any time paradoxes?

This really is one of those shows where I have no idea if I even like it until it ends.
They need to give some information on Hitomi's past, something tells me she must have known some of the others in her past/ the future. when they were older and doesn't realise it. Like the book she mentions this episode, I bet it's a picture book Yuito releases in his future.

Kohaku is already warming up to being my favourite character of the show. Her passion of magic is unrivaled and she's giving it her all to creating magic that can help Hitomi travel back 60 years into the future.

However, Hitomi has settled into her life right now so comfortably that she doesn't want to leave. Bless her for saying that, really, but I still think that she'll have to go back eventually.

Another plus point was how the other members of the club helped out Hitomi after learning about her colour blindness. That and also Kohaku gathering all the cats while out taking pictures in town was a pretty amusing moment. =3

But the most amusing moment was how Kohaku tried to help Hitomi by trying to get her super close to Yuito so that she can see colours again. It made for some funny moments, but alas, Kohaku's plan sadly didn't work out.

I can't wait for the next episode now. =)

Kohaku, the cupid girl and best wingman. Hitomi being sent back in time is irreversible right? So that means, her being sent back has already changed the past significantly thus the timeline will diverge into a new future which may be totally different from the time period she came from. Therefore, Hitomi can wind up with Yuito without consequences right?
Don't believe the hype.

Kohaku was trying her best to help Hitomi, both to recover her colors, and to be able to send her back if she ever wanted to. But even though her time magic was really cool, it was also ephemeral. I like how magic isn't an almighty way to solve everything, but I feel bad for Kohaku realizing that her dream of making people happy with her magic isn't as simple as she thought it was. I don't think she will give up though!

Shou is trying to get closer to Hitomi too, he was shaken when he found out that she couldn't see colors, I think that he doesn't know that Yuito knew it already, and he is also afraid that she is going to go back to her time, so this may drive him to take action on his feelings or something. Poor Asagi though, I thought she was going to change her fate after that fortune reading, but so much for that it seems.

Still have doubts about this but the slow pacing may be to blame, while questions were raised, answers slowly seep in.

Regardless, an intriguing episode indeed about Kohaku trying to revitalize Hitomi's monochromatic eyesight and be able for her to see colors again, what a selfless person. Some romance plots with Kohaku wingman-ed both Yuito and Hitomi, but alas haha xD

Even as an original series, I can't help for the next episode to come immediately...just wanted to see where this will ultimately end...

Will Kohaku send Hitomi back to her current timeline vs. Hitomi who has grown and shown love in Kohaku's time? We'll see next week then...

I'm glad the series focused a bit on Kohaku because she's my favorite character here. The way she's helping everyone is great and proves how much of a good person she is.

I know it might happen for Hitomi to go back to her 60year future, but I secretly hope she doesn't because she clicks well with those guys. I don't know if Yuito is saddened by the thought or not, I really couldn't tell if he was being tough or what.

God dammit man! I was really hiping there wouldnt be any love triangles or squares in this anime. In the beginning it seemed obvious who was best for each other and now the drama is incoming. DAMMIT. Considering I think Asa and SHou would be good for each other Shou seems to have his eyes set on Hitomi. DAMN

Wow I was actually taken back at Hitomis response. Now I am really curious how this anime will end. Will Kohaku force Hitomi to return with only her memories???

I have a theory...

Hitomi will return to her time when her grandma's (Kohaku's) magic loses it's effect.

It's like what happened with the rose and the camera in this episode. Kohaku trained 60 years to make the "time travel magic" last longer... but it will inevitably lose it's effect, making the thing/person going back to it's natural time. I think that's the reason why future Kohaku didin't tell anything about how Hitomi would go back, and perhaps this is what her past self has to find out.

Ohh my the story is just getting exciting and interesting as now kohaku (or grandma hitomi) is now testing or experimenting her magic on how to return back hitomi to her real era. Plus her another experiment on how she could see colors...

I love the part where yuito and hitomi are being together for the said experiment. It sure is a cute and a little sweet one for both of them...

And the MPAC (magic photography arts club) photoshoot is nice as those photos could really serve as memories to her...

But the REAL QUESTION and even i am liking to know is that WILL HITOMI BACK TO HER REAL ERA/TIME? Will the memories of MAPC still be retained 60 yrs if she even return back? And what will happen to yuito and hitomi if that happen...

Note: theres a scene where hitomi said that there is this one picture book when she was still a child that she has able to see its color... (we all know that the only thing she can see is yuito's drawing/art? Hmmmm???!!!)...

Ohh few more epsiodes left...

So, Kohaku is striving to achieve time magic knowledge, so she could help Hitomi in the future if she decides to go to her era, she is even investigating the things that make Hitomi see colors, so she could help her in that way too, asking Yuito for help and putting them in uncomfortable situations. The club decide to make a shoot about something that Hitomi likes, so she decides to make it about their way to school, where the relationships come to light again. Asa's camera broke down, so Kohaku applied a spell to bring the time back, but later she discovers that the only thing she did, is to delay the fact that the camera was going to break down. Then they're in their club watching the photos that they took and Hitomi secretly told Kohaku that she wants to stay in that time.

Kohaku is making a big effort to help Hitomi but God, Hitomi is such a difficult person to understand, despite that, she's making her best. The relation between Hitomi and Yuito has been kind of irregular, specially because hardly ever Yuito shows a bit of interest, and there is also Shou, which personality is warmer and kind of the best guy of the show. The street scenes and photos are spectacular, the detail, bright and backgrounds, the street and railings, everything is beautiful. Not for the surpise of everyone, Hitomi is really liking her actual life, I don't know how her life was in the future (her original timeline) cause we didn't get to see any friends or why she's so shy, but the people that socialize with her now are helping her and improving her social and artistic skills.

I really loving Kohaku! She genuinely wants to help Hitomi with her color-blindness. And a great cupid for Hitomi and Yuito~

Her magic is losing effect? Or just that her time magic was not fully successful?

Hitomi really has changed. She wants to stay with the rest. But why do I have a feeling that she will have to leave eventually?

Seems like Hitomi might confess her feelings to Yuito next week... The romance finally caught up but let's see what the drama will be next episode.

Shy Aoi is adorable.

Hitomi said there was a picture book with her, and she could see the colours in it. I guess Aoi made that?

Kohaku's magic is so fun to watch.

I don't think anyone needs to be worried about Hitomi going back to her time. Just wait 50 years, and she'd be of an age where she can speak. And, Hitomi can just go back to her own time and meet the 60 years later versions of her friends.

This anime has really beautiful art. The backgrounds are especially fantastic.

I don't have any doubts that Hitomi will go back to the future. Even though Kohaku's grandmother says that time magic is irreversible in episode 1, it's very clear that Kohaku's magic isn't strong enough to keep Hitomi there indefinitely. The magic has a time limit for sure. Her spell lasted only a few hours on the camera. In episode 1 Kohaku mentions that it took her 60 years to accumulate enough magic with the help of the full moon to send her back. The New Moon happened to fall on the fireworks festival and finally topped the device off enough to send her back. One can assume that in the last episode, Hitomi and the gang will probably go to the same fireworks festival and at some point everything will click for her. Hitomi will either see color again or understand why she lost her colors in the first place and accept who she is or what happened. When that happens she'll probably say her goodbyes and be sent back to the future right after the fireworks end. The real icing on the cake will be if the whole group from 60 years ago shows up to greet her when she returns. It'll be interesting to see the elder versions of them and what their kids/grandkids/families look like.

Also, I'm really interested in who Hitomi's mother and father really are. We know nothing about them or how she ended up living with her grandmother. Again, I can only assume that something must have happened to them. Hitomi mentions that she could see color in the fireworks when she was with her mom as a young child and in the scene when she's on the bus going back in time we see a clip of her mother going through a door and shutting it. So I suspect that her mother must have died and as a result Hitomi lost her colors in shock. Maybe even her hair color. Like yvanedico said above, I agree, the picture book was probably made by Aoi. Hitomi was able to see it's colors only because she had already been to the past and formed a connection with Aoi. She encouraged him to keep drawing.

One last thing. Has anyone else noticed that Hitomi's name literally translates to "pupil of the eye". It can also come from (hito) meaning "history" and (mi) meaning "beautiful" (Beautiful History)?

So, either Hitomi will go home to the future or not is rely on Kohaku's training on time magic. But, if Kohaku didn't made it, Hitomi didn't back to 60 years later, and what Kohaku's grandma said is true, I have a guess that life isn't that good on Kohaku's household 60 years later, so she send Hitomi back to start new life and fix the future (and that means, 60-years-later Kohaku knew that her past will never able to send Hitomi back again).

Another ship alarm from club president. I think he has a feeling for Hitomi. And it's not surprising, thinking about how care he is to Hitomi. Poor Chigusa, but that's her fault for hold it too long.

Another good episode. Nice progress.

Interesting developments though this episode. Kohaku asking if Hitomi wants to return to the future one time... Then Hitomi saying she would like to stay... I wonder what kind of impact it will have on the future if Hitomi stays with the friends she has now made. It could have major consequences.

Kohaku is a good girl, she wants her magic to be able to bring happiness to people.
In this week's episode Kohaku tries to find out what causes Hitomi to see the colors, Kohaku is very perceptive and her conclusion is that Hitomi can see colors when there are very strong emotions and these emotions always flourish when Yuito is with Hitomi. The series of Kohaku experiments were very funny to see, Hitomi and Yuito ashamed is pure gold, they are very shy.
The part in which Kohaku mentions to Hitomi if she wants to return to her time got my worry, Hitomi must be very confused, also we must understand that Hitomi has experienced much joy in her stay in this era.
Kohaku is practicing the magic of time and she has obtained good results.
The photo session that Hitomi proposes showed several thoughts of the other members, especially the girls, it seems that Kurumi and Asagi are worried about their feelings and the little time they have left in school. Yuito and Shou talk about Hitomi and what they think of her returning to her time, the final photo with the cats enchanted me, thanks to the magic of Kohaku they capture a magical moment. In the end, Kohaku's magic of time is not 100% effective yet, but she still does not want to give up for Hitomi's sake.

The love triangle between Yuito, The pres and Hitomi is becoming more and more apparent, throw in Asagi and it seems like this won't have a happy ending. Kohaku has also started making some headway into time magic but seems like Hitomi wants to stay here(space time continuum about to be fucked up).

A little thing that interested me is the book that Hitomi was talking about, a book in which she could see colours, considering the fact that she read that in the future, it is plausible that Yuito is the one who wrote it.

Kohaku is a great character, she want to help everyone and make them happy with magic, she is trying hard to learn time magic, and Hitomi's problem are being hard to resolve! Btw, Kohaku's experience was funny to watch!

Asagi is taking to much time to confess to Shou, i suspect that Shou is starting to have feeling for Hitomi! Asagi need to confess before it is too late!

So after all tryhard by Kohaku, Hitomi wants to stay in that era!

Wow I am finally up to date. That took a while.

The visuals are outstanding and I really like most of the cast.
But herein lies the problem. It seems they all talk in groups about each other but not with each other. Kohaku could've asked if Hitomi actually wants to go back. Yet she simply decides on her own that Hitomi wants to.
Bunny girl continues to run in circles around her own feelings for the Osananajimi while constantly being afraid that he has fallen for Hitomi.
Yuito is still pretty much a prick to me who only shows his feelings when it is convenient for the plot.
The only good relationship is Chigusas and Kurimis even though they don't know it yet.

Last but not least. Why did Hitomi lose the ability to see colors again in between episodes and that early on? Simple. As otherwise the show would have been over after 6 episodes.

Actually I don't even think that time paradoxes are really a thing in this show since it already must've been one when Hitomi met her young grandma. I mean that could change so much in the future and there's always the chance that something happens because of Hitomi and Kohaku will have an accident or even die, which would lead to Hitomi never being born, not traveling to the past and Kohaku not having the accident... I guess if these time paradoxes were a thing then them meeting would've already been far too dangerous to even consider it.

I would love Hitomi staying but I think it will end with her returning after all. Well, we'll see how it turns out.

Well, the first part felt rather pointless since Kohaku and co. couldn't solve the mystery (not even a clue) of why Hitomi's ability to see colours again is related to Aoi. In the end, it just worked as an poor excuse to add some romantic tension between them. I don't know, maybe it's just me but I can't see them as a couple... I guess they're just too bland as characters for me to care... Honestly, I would prefer Hitomi to be with Shou since it seems he truly cares for her or at least shows more emotions/interest towards her than Aoi.

That aside, it was an OK episode. Kohaku trying to use time magic and asking Hitomi if she wants to return to her time were probably the highlights of the episode for me. I wonder what will happen since now, Hitomi doesn't want to leave her new friends.
