| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Heh, Goblin Slayer just casually walks in like that. Looks like we got a more proper look at the High Elf Archer since her cameo. Same with the Witch girl. Seems we're also getting more screen time with non-human characters (besides goblins). Archer seems like a character that can get along quite well with others..except the Dwarf. LOL, drunk High Elf Girl. |

| So the odd party finally made it's appearance and it was about time. Still with the party formed we can expect some great things and some interesting conversations like the one we had during this episode. Still i wanted to see a bit more of the complex the where going to raid since we only saw a small part of it. It's been a while since we saw some action after all. |

| That was a nice episode, not action packed but pretty nice to setup future episodes. We got to introduced to quite the party, an elf, a dwarf and a lizard man. I don't know why but Sugita as the lizard man makes me laugh. Haha, I love how the witch was being so suggestive about Goblin Slayer towards the Priestess. Elf girl is pretty good but Receptionist is still best girl. XD Really liked the banter over dinner and it's kinda funny how everyone reacts towards Goblin Slayer when they realize that he's just extremely single minded towards killing goblins. Goblin Slayer may not be the hero we deserve but he's the hero we need. XD Looking forward to some goblin slaying next week, |

| I'm still wondering if the whole anime is only going to be about slaying goblins or not, because if it is then it's going to be difficult maintaining some sort of freshness to the narrative in the long run. New characters is a good start but we'll see how long they can make it last |

| Okay so I'm really happy High Elf Archer is now a part of the cast as she is one of my favorite characters. Everyone else is pretty cool too. Again it follows fairly well to the manga with a few things missing here and there. I would be lying if I were to say I am enjoying this as much as I do the manga. I don't know but something about these past 3 episodes have gotten on my nerves. Maybe it's the constant switch between CGI or how the characters are portrayed but something about it just doesn't sit right with me. I will say that this episode seemed to go fairly better than the last 2 did. Looking at the show just makes me wish they had gone about adapting it differently, but maybe that's just me. |

| Great setup episode. Liked how the Gods who are really just some D&D players getting introduced and how GS's social awkwardness and autism being a part of the comedy! Now Goblin Slayer and his new formed party going for an overkill to slaughter low leveled mobs lol Can't wait for next week! |
| Holy crap SAO and Jojo's episode 3 threads have more posts than Goblin Slayer's (as it should be)! How long will that last? Probably not long at all. Anyhoo, wow I hate ALL of these characters. I hated them in the books, but at least I had the luxury to steamroll through their substance-less character interactions or picture them in more inspired designs (or like Grumpy from Disney's Snow White in Dwarf Shaman's case). But in the anime, it's torture. At this rate, it's going to take until the first half of the show to wrap up volume 1. |
| I'm glad I liked most of the party. The lizard and dwarf were pretty entertaining. Shame the high elf is just...boring to me. Not sure if she's worse than the bland priestess though. If anything, at least her banter with the dwarf was your typical dwarf vs elf fantasy thing, which is cool. |
| Ayyyyyyyyyy that last scene when they were all squad up was nice (Especially that double kill lol) They handled the introduction of these new characters very well and based off of the comments I'm seeing, it looks like they were all well received too which is great :) Looking forward to seeing the raid animated (Also that cheese looked hella good lol) |

| I don't care about the blood or gore I am going to stick with the show so I can see more of elf girl witch and the receptionist don't care about the priestess Looks like next episode will be compensated for this episodes blood and gore I am hearing great things from people who read this series I am curious to see how the show is going to make goblin killing more interesting and keep it from going other routes |

| I really don't understand why they use 3D animation while GS is clearly not moving. Though i hate the CGI, it's still pretty tolerable if they used it to cut simple moving animation, but he's clearly not doing anything and they used the CGI WTF. |

| Reading manga before anime was a pretty bad idea. Manga is really good and only makes anime shortcomings stand out more. Putting aide that weird and pointless switching to CG GS, the flow of the story was pretty awkward and I feel like they left out some significant details. Like Priestess being pretty battered when they arrived at the guild making it clear that GS really wanted her to rest. Here she was clean and happy... Real shame since this could easily be an awesome series but it can as easily be fucked up by crappy staff. Oh well, at least I hope goblin slaying will stay good. |

| Quite the interesting episode that introduced some rather intriguing characters. The makeup of this new party sure was unusual. The witches slow speech sure matches well with how sharp her comments are. Its nice seeing Shinkan admit her own weakness and turn that into her source of strength though. It was funny seeing her teach GS about social interaction though. It was fun seeing the members of the party trade stories and theories about not just themselves but also about the goblins too. That was quite the shot that the elf made though. Looking forward to next week. |

| Well that was a fun episode. I know that the characters are one dimentional and there isn't much happening and yada yada yada, but this was just a fun episode. Nice interactions, nice character development and it was just.. nice. |

| i love he just doesnt care about the end of the world with demons and shit. he just want goblins. no goblins = no deal. why the hell people expecting him to deal with more than goblins with that short ass sword and that cheap armor. he’s a professional goblin slayer. imagine you grinding your character’s level to 80 (because silver is rank 3 out of 10) by just slaying a fucking goblin. and as a solo player, in just 5 years (in manga) u don’t know how low goblins xp is? | We got some new characters introduced and now they're joining GS and the Priestess girl to slay some goblins. There was no action this week (except the 2 kills at the end) but it looks like we're gonna get a lot more in the next episode. |

| Damn. that witch girl is so frickin' sexual with that intermittent breathing and that breathy voice. It's so erotic. In general though, this episode's character dynamics ended up feeling kinda forced because they really wanted to set in stone the characters personalities; but it seems things will take an interesting turn next week. |

Such a strange squad they have created with new members from another races! Elf drunk was really hillarious! The witch was suspicious, for sure! I am wondering what scrolls are and what they do! | After reading some part of the manga i have to say they took a slow approach and now finally the best three are in the game. The chemistry between the dwarv and the elf is just hilarious and lizard man is quite a unique character himself and after two episodes of mainly generic 'new priestess' and single minded goblin slayer we finally get to the goods. Also the badass shot with that freaking skilled party walking toward the nest was quite epic, because this party really can fuck some shit up (and the goblins get also better and more so they need to, it really ups the stakes without going away from goblins). | Good episode. Really love the new dynamics they have going between the party characters. Looking forward to seeing how they interact. This whole series is really looking like it was made during a tabletop campaign. Getting a good vibe from it. |
| oh god, why the rock tune at the end? it would be better to hear something epic, not badass, not with a setting like this so far it look really dull and generic, somehow this just flew over my mind while i was reading manga |
