I can definitely feel things are going to get intense soon. I had forgotten how much i actually enjoy the new Prime Minster. And Kuze's back story was fairly interesting.

I'm glad that we're now getting into Kuze's history, but I just couldn't get into this particular episode.

has anybody entertained the idea that Kuze might be that origami-crane folding boy from the Major's childhood? i say this cuz during the episode ishikiawa mentions that after trading his gun for the camera kuze began to mingle with people and that he spent time FOLDING VARIOUS ORIGAMI FIGURES

im now pretty certain that its the same person from the major's childhood!

That's what I thought at first too. But didn't the kid have blond hair? Kuze's was originally black.

Another episode heavy in dialogue with great insight on Kuze's character. There's a lot more to that guy then what initially seemed. I can't help but make the observation that he might be the boy from Motoko's past.

I'm also glad that at this point they are exploring the past, namely the events of the war, A LOT.

He also switched to a prosthetic body. Looks in this series don't really matter when it comes to characters.

definitely love the episode and the backstory of Hideo Kuze.

i mean he save the village that were slaughtered by bandits. plus surviving the PTSD was definitely hard as hell.

and yeah folding various Origami Figures seems awfully suspicious, but why can he move his mouth in the early episodes???

i also like how he traded his gun for a camera, i guess he wanted saw the living and other and people and began to hang with them. though not saying a word and standing there is hard as hell to socialize.

it seems people are attracted to him for some reason, could it be he's the leader Motoko and Aramaki is talking about(the one the influences millions of people)

and gouda is back!!!!!!!! haven't seen him for awhile :P

great episode, the animation is awesome!!!!!!!!!

That was a pretty boring episode. But I guess this information will be useful for the story in the long run.

I feel like there's a connection to the way people flock to Kuze and the way people are drawn to the virus. Surely there is.

That background... GIS have such an rich setting, the people who designed the universe are genius.

That Kuze is an interresting fellow. It looked like he was with the Individual Eleven, but I'm not sure anymore. The Individual Eleven have an hatred for the refugees and he is really close to the collectivity.

I didn't understood why they hid the village massacre. It was done by the other party, were they hidding the fact that they were completely cybernetized?

The ethymology of the word assassin was really interresting, I didn't know :P
I like a show when I can also learn from it.

Very interesting episode, after a long pause, the main plot and its subplots are broken down big time.
In the sea of information in this single episode plot is complicated keep up but also intriguing.
Narrative interesting and full of references to other topics that make it even more interesting to follow the story told.
Designs and scenarios very well made.
Discrete animations.
Many points of doubt arose in me.

Was a bit too dense and info-dumpy, but Kuze's military history was cool. Wonder how he went from the dude who was loved by those villagers to the man he is now.

Interesting way of holding a secret meeting. I mean, all that preparation and yet Motoko just got in there and listened to the whole thing without anyone noticing.

Boring backstory-type of episode that gets a few points for being more related to the main plot compared to the previous ones.

Nice episode. Loved the backstory for Japan gaining international relevance again.
It's nice to see that in the eyes of the author of GITS SAC, Japan is not still an American puppet country. The reality of the situation is that since WW2, the bad guys won that war and the axis is being partially or totally controlled by them. Japan is an invaded country, only partially sovereign, same for Germany and in a lesser way Italy.

More worldbuilding episode is always a plus for me.

And more history on Kuze too. Origami? I'm sure he's the boy back in Motoko's childhood.

That glasses old Cabinet guy creepily (& closely) sneak up on PM Kayabuki lol

Im quite sad, since im at episode 16 and it is so hard for me to follow what they talking about most of the times. I understand that the bad guys (Gohda) are trying to influence the public opinion to get rid of the refugees, that Kuze is some kind of Jesus Christ with his ex rank charisma, and that is the only survivor of the terrorist group.

I enjoyed the movie and the first series alot more so far.
