The part that all army corps started to pledge their loyalty to Enri was really well made and funny.I can understand beast rider corps but goblins even have shiny Paladin-knight squad :)) during that part i was like ROFL :DDD and btw I hate Lupusregina,I'm not against mass murder or massacre or some twisted things or bloodlust(in shows) but the way she likes it is too awkward and even disturbing for me.Slaughtering people is one thing but having lust for it and more is whole another nasty stuff...

If there ever was a cross-over between Goblin Slayer and something else then "Honorable General Enri the Bloody" would certainly be one of the "final boss" candidates.

Another would be Rou from Re:Monster, though in that case the question would be "what evolution stage?", because after HobGoblin stage he "grows out" of being a Goblin.

and that's exactly the reason I gave to explain why he shouldn't be regarded in this episode as a master strategist so to speak.

There have being many other questionable decisions on his and his staff behalf in the past tho. He might be intelligent, but he is making a lot of mistakes along the way, which would be fine if that mattered, but it doesn't. Ainz is going to win spectacularly regardless and that just takes away from the significance of all this events. Without his mistakes having consequences, without there being any chance of him losing something of significance, he is just like a bully picking up candy from babies.

Wait, hold up, what? Ainz should never be regarded as a master strategist, that's one of his character's shtick: he's an average guy who spent too much time and money on a game, and the NPCs are such intense fanboys that they rationalize everything he does as some sort of genius plan, even if they think they see obvious flaws. The comedy is in him desperately trying to live up to their insane expectations and succeeding out of pure luck.

Besides, suffering the consequences of one's mistakes isn't something isekai stories generally present as an obstacle to the MC (except Youjo Senki, which is literally the MC constantly suffering the consequences of her mistakes). It's usually one big power-trip fest with the MC being a Mary Sue.

You mean this:

to be this?

Yes, that seems plausible, as you can see the hair, the cape, and that metallic thing, but not only would that be "hinting season 4" (I read from some comment that someone who supposedly met the (masked?) author at some anime event heard him saying that there'd supposedly be a surprise at the end of the season), it would also give that image of Ainz bursting into light particles a whole new meaning.

I mean I'd actually like that. "Losing his humanity"? Seems a lame theme for an Overlord... but the meaning that scene would have in the context of Neia? AHAHAHAHAHA! All the Overlord LN vol. 13 memes... you guys should know what I am talking about ;)

I think that even if that was the case though, it would at most be the announcement. I don't have much confidence that we'd see it anytime soon, but at least it would show that Madhouse seriously views Overlord as its next flagship series after Hunter x Hunter (similar to how SAO is A1's flagship and Monogatari series is Shaft's flagship).

Imagine if in the final episode this blurred image suddenly gets clear and visible... seems like something madhouse could do, considering how they previously incorporated Renner's evil side into the episode.

I kinda liked the episode just because here have a magic items that is cheap low level crap in the mmo. Enri uses it and gets and army of 5000 Goblins well now I wan´t that item in a mmo haha. Sure the CGI was rely bad but man if they remade the episode with better animation of the goblins and maybe a more longer focused combat it would been epic like hell. But it was funny to see heck even Ains was like huuuuuuh.

I don't particularly care about the CGI, one way or the other. I found this episode, and the one that came before it, inexcusable because of the quality of the writing. Some painfully dull dialogue between the three off-the-shelf fantasy warrior types, forgettably bland political intrigue between people who have little to no characterization or memorable traits, and fights that don't have any emotional weight or interesting mechanics to them. Not to mention the uninspired and dull little sister character who is less a character and more a one-trick little sister trope pony, whose only lines seem to be "Sister?", repeated over and over again.

I think that much of Overlord is like this - the whole story line involving the attack on "E-Rantel" (and seriously, what's up with the naming convention in this show?) was so uninteresting that I literally had to remind myself that it happened at all, and cannot remember anything other than the Demiurge/Ainz mock-fight. The only redeeming aspect of Climb as a character or as a storytelling device is his mistress, who has one character trait and comes off as a bargain basement Griffith wannabe.

I really enjoyed season one, and parts of season two, but this is whole last season has just been aggressively bland. Even the fate of the 'workers' was somehow dull - the way my friend, who has read the light novels, talked it up, I was thinking that we'd see something reminiscent of Gantz or the Eclipse, but instead we just have... nothing of interest, really.

And to compound all of the poor writing and unfulfilling storytelling, the entire world of Overlord can't get past the knockoff MMO generic fantasy nature of its setting to really do anything in terms of world building. I don't care about any of the non-Nazaric cast, and the only ones whom I can name are the ones with the most poorly conceived names that stand out in a crowded field.
You say tomato, I say horrible murder by Gibbering Horrors That Should Not Be. Simple pronunciation difference, really.

CGI issues aside, I thought it was pretty epic to see Enri summoned the entire army of globins rather than just less than 20.
And it was even more interesting to find out in the comments that the army could actually wipe out both Kingdom's army rather easily?! That's way too imba though :P

Lupisregina is the best part, lol.

If she is a werewolf, I wonder if we will ever get to see her in some kind of more wolfish form?

In any case, as this is a show and not an OVA or something, I imagine we may only see the character's sadistic nature hinted at rather than shown more directly, hence the cut away at the end.

I know I have said critical things about the battle maid outfits, but...Lupisegina somehow makes it work.

I wouldn't be bothered by the awful CGI quality (seriously, I've seen better out of a gamecube) if it wasn't so much of the episode. I'm glad that the pacing of the overall season seems to have improved, but the pacing of individual episodes ("let's introduce all of our bottom-of-the-barrel cgi for seconds each time and close enough to reveal our incompetence") seems to suffer, even over the last few episodes.

Tbh it was decent. There was not a lot of specific action scenes where they really need to hand draw, for me this was a 8/10 ep. CGI wasnt that bad tbh its actually decent because they only used CGI on the armies. Wouldnt blame them if they dont want spend budget on ep 11.

Enri brought this situation upon herself... ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Now, this is epic! Enri just summoned a whole army of probably high-level goblins with various skills and abilities and also those armors. Whoa, I believe this
'certain requirements' for her to summon this many high leveled goblins are because of 1> The time she spent with the goblins (Since RPGs usually have factions, maybe she's very close to a goblin faction. 2> She has gained commander or general level as said by the goblins and thought by Ainz. 3> She's outnumbered and under attack? Not sure about the third requirement but I think these 3 combined results to this.

Oh man, I love it when Lupusregina acts friendly with that cheerful voice, only to then be serious with that deeper voice and that 'you're dead' face!
I WANT TO SEE THE MASSASSACRE AND THE WAY LUPUSSREGINA KILLS THE PRINCE!!!

Incoming splat-tastic battle next episode!!!

This. So much this.

It just so happens that this formula stops being enjoyable for me when I stop liking the MC and can no longer relate to him.

It is due to all those questionable decisions and choices having no consequences as well as Ainz's newfound callous attributes that I have gradually stop enjoying the power up progression and find myself rather wishing that everything comes down and falls apart spectacularly on top of our MC.

The goblin cucked Enri and Nphi's moment...

EHHHHHHH??????!!!!!! And why does the Goblin Strategist look like Zhuge Liang?

Well I guess Enri will have no problem protecting the village now that she has an army of goblins. I do wonder if her using the horn was the last time she can do that though. Question is, what exactly was the hidden requirement for the horn to summon more than 20 goblins...and how is she going to feed that entire army?

I loved this episode. Enri and Nphi were cute. The kingdoms army got its butt kicked by a village and some goblins. That would be really funny saying to the king, but their all dead. Ains Ooal Gown will rule the world. I love Overlord and can't wait for the next episode.

Enri's superb treatment of her Goblin subjects have fulfilled the prerequisite necessary for that supposedly trash-tier item to unlock its full potential! Just like Momonga and Lupis, I did not expect that the same item that merely summoned a small band of goblins would end up summoning an army that's thousands of times bigger than what they had. I didn't mind that it was partly ridiculous because of the 3DCG because an anomaly like that was really cool!

It would've been great to see Lupisregina's real form here...

i think its due to her str and i don't mean only physical str and her leadership skill has gone up and also her willpower i think all that counts when using this item

also maybe her Charisma and summoning has gone up, well psy STR as well, would be good to know the full conditions for summoning this Meany with that horn
