THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Eh, I'm not sure I can stand Tsukasa's personality much anymore. She always acts so awkward around Anzai. Seems the episode takes place around New Years and it gave time for Tsukasa and Anzai to bond a bit. However, I don't think the relationship dynamics are well done so far in the show. Tsukasa still gets those weird dreams of them kissing (with blood added in). Tsukasa seems so fragile whenever Anzai is near her. If I was Anzai, I'd also be more careful since there are others that wants him dead. |

Tsukasa and Anzai are getting all lovey-dovey with each other. They were having a good time until someone shot at them because they blame all the devils for their mother's death, how pitiful. |

I picked up this show and noticed the weird pacing, then went to try the manga since others recommended it over the anime. The anime adaptation probably won't be doing this series justice... Still jumped when Anzai got shot even when I knew it'd happen *__* |

Just like episode 1, I died nearly at the end. So sweet the whole episode, and BANG, back to being edgy. Come on! |

meh.. kinda shit tbh. The animation is awful, the story is meh. Tsukasa is annoying.. and some scenes are cringy. Not dropping still. I still believe this anime can be better than TG s2. |

Tsukasa's friend tho, the typical hysterical girl that worries too much. Tsukasa is becoming annoying at this time. The innocent girl that is always blushing and acting weird when in front of Anzai. At least they kissed and had some time together. Their relationship feels weird. A new murderer that only kills Devils. I don't know how why Anzai was careless if knowing that. He in trouble right now. |

This show is a bit predictable but i can't stop to watch, i'm very dragged into it, maybe because Tsukasa is cute and his love is so pure. :D |

People on MAL refuse to actually enjoy watching anime. Your taste in anime isn't a personality trait. MAL is literally just anime Twitter as its own website lol. |

The romance suppresses the action which I'm not fond of. I'm not sure if it's just me or this episode had a bit better animation quality, which is a plus. Still sticking around. I wonder who that white haired guy is |

That devil killer has a point... Yes, these people might be good natured civilians most of the time, but the moment they see another persons blood they turn into mindless murderers. I'm not saying they should be eradicated, but they should definitely not be allowed to just wander the streets so casually... |

Man, the romance is really weak in this one. This show hasn't made me invested at all.... But, I noticed something. So our feMC got shot and was bleeding all over, but our vampire resisted the urge? Yet, an episode ago a vampire killed their LONG TERM, MARRIED PARTNER over a little bleeding cut? For real, that's really bad writing. |

But if you read the manga you'll understand the effect that Tsukasa has on Yuuki. |

It seems they're following the manga very closely. The one thing that disappoints me with the anime is some of the voice acting. I get it, Anzai is very reserved and Tsukasa is more timid, but some of the lines fall flat, especially some of the scenes with them scolding each other for whatever reason. |

Twilight the anime. Instead of stupid sparkling skin, they have stupid boar fangs. And instead of a girl than can't smile, it's a typical shoujo protag. |

For real, that's really bad writing. They left this out and did not explain it well in the anime at all (yet- without explaining it well, they still are trying to depict the events and are doing so QUITE inaccurately): #1- She actually did not kill her husband.... He was still alive, in the hospital, and asked to talk to her over the police radio, apologizing for joking about blood, when he knew she couldn't deal with it, and asking her to come and talk with him, that he wasn't angry. #2- They had only been married about a year. That's how long it has been allowed legally. She's around the same age as Yuuki Anzai. Only been away from the orphanage for (at most) about 3 years (because that's how long Anzai has been out of there and working as a police officer/detective). #3- Anzai is only half vampire (they are living, breathing, creatures, not undead that can turn people). His mother is human. He was born just like all of the other vampires and humans are born. From a woman giving birth to him, after being pregnant for 9 moths. Due to his being only half, he has a bit more willpower and can hold out a little longer, usually getting a grip on himself. But he was at his breaking point because of his blood loss. #4- Tsukasa was not shot. The bullet missed them both the second time, and she was shielding him mostly from the glass. She WAS bleeding, but not much. Most of that blood on her, was his. She was only cut by a stray shard of glass. |

I get it, Anzai is very reserved and Tsukasa is more timid, but some of the lines fall flat, especially some of the scenes with them scolding each other for whatever reason. They animated around 85%-90% of chapter 1 for episode 1, then around 10%-15% of chapter 2 and around 30%-40% of chapter 3 for episode 2 and added on to the scene with the teacher attacking her... And then this episode, they animated about 85% (each) of chapters 4, 5 and 6 (except for the last 7 or so pages of chapter 6).... They have people (anime only viewers) thinking these vampires used to be human, and that they are the usual vampires, they have them thinking Anzai is a stalker because they screwed the pacing up so badly and left out a lot of the relationship building.... u-mi said: I picked up this show and noticed the weird pacing, then went to try the manga since others recommended it over the anime. I agreed that pace is a bit awkward, things are quite confusing, but the romance is fine.I mean I believe that girls are kinda nervous when they're into a romance, especially a vampire and a human. Animation is bad,but doesnt have much impacts on me,I guess I'm still watching this. |

I agree that she should not fall in love with a strange guy so fast, but that is part of the clichê needed to make this story happen. You are correct about most of that to an extent. That other user obviously is close minded, and knows nothing of the story. Just wants to troll and insult everything. Tsukasa hasn't done anything with anyone. She's still a virgin. She was just shocked by Anzai's actions when he kissed her. Especially after what happened with her friend (who, by the way, she was only friends with since she went to collage (others seem to think that they were childhood friends). People should read the manga, though before judging her personality (though I didn't start liking her much until chapter 20 something, she was OK, until then). This anime is half-assed, does not fully depict scenes correctly or explain things the way the source material does. Tsukasa is nothing like Bella Swan and these are not the usual undead Vampires. zanpakutoflames said: Thank you for filling in the holes this anime left. windeen-windy said: SparkleDuck said: Man, the romance is really weak in this one. I'm still waiting on some character development of tsukasa. Really wish she had more about her than "shes smartand takes good notes." Is she passionate about something? Can't they have her like actively pursuing a career or graduate school or something? I feel like this has some solid potential and I've enjoyed a lot of it so far but that one point is a really big negative so far |
